Connection setup notification

Hi folks
Each time I reboot my HTC Kaiser I keep getting the "Connection Setup" notification dialog.
It reads as follows:
Connection Setup
The operator does not exist in the database. Please contact your operator for the connection settings.
Connection Setup will redirect you to the Connections screen.
Click to collapse
Is there any way to disable this notification?
I've also experienced this when moving between different GSM operators, which is extremely annoying
Thanks in advance

Annoying "connecting to MediaNet" window

I have several applications that access the internet every so often, and everytime one of them does it, a window pops up "informing me" that the phone is "connecting to MediaNet". It is a very annoying window because it pops up on top of anything that I am doing (for example dialing). Is there a way to turn this off? I really do not want to know when the phone connects to MediaNet.
Thanks a lot,
Juan
Do you just want to turn that message off or completely disable MediaNet?
getting rid of the message in general would be fantastic. I am annoyed by it as well. even the ISP message comes up all the time too when connecting GPS
Yes, let's get rid of the message. I second that request for know-how. I haven't googled for it. I assume you have, original poster. Thanks for whoever has answer. Sometimes I have my media net turned off and it beeps to let me know there is no data connection. I would like that disabled as well.
this has been bugging the $8[t outta me!
Sometimes in the past , the messages kicked me out of S2U2. My phone stays on and does stuff like call my mom while I'm shooting the $h!7 with my buddies.
If it bugs you, just turn it off.
If I remember correctly: Start...Settings...Sounds & Notifications. Hit the Notifications tab, navigate the drop down Event box to "Connection established" and uncheck the tick boxes (especailly the "Display message on screen" box), hit OK and it will be gone.

This sounds like the right answer. Trying it right now. Thanks for your help.

Internet Pictures in Gmail

Hi there. Can anyone help with the following problem.
My emails come through automatically from Gmail but I can't get the images to automatically download. I always get the screen below. I've searched the forums and googled it but still can't find a solution to automatically download the images.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
same here....
+1 same here....
For a long time I didn't bothered about those images, but since a while I email quite a lot and receive a lot with pictures.....
So....ne1??
Thanxx guys/galls
go to tour mail tab
press "menu" then "accounts" then "accounts..."
>>now you're in the accounts menu.
press "menu" and the "options"
press on the account you use (with the * left to it)
the 3rd option should be setting for downloadsize (or something...I don't have an english phone)
you can set it to "full message" (or something simular)
hope this helps!
ETA: Ignore me, I didn't read the OP properly. D'oh!

Thanks jodeltje but as the previous poster said its the same for me. I have all the downloads set to maximum i.e. entire message and all attachments and still I can't get the pics to automatically show in the message.
Can anyone else help?
does anybody know?
Anybody??
No can do, methinks... at least not without hacking :/
Unfortunately, I believe this is a security feature. I also dug deep trying to find away to turn that feature off, but to no avail. Obviously it must be possible at some level, but I don't think there's an interface for it yet. I know I haven't run across one yet.

Can I disable one-button calling?

I have a 4550 with the factory HTC (unbranded) original ROM.
I have a reoccurring problem with the "favorite people" screen--in that I don't use it, and don't want it there at all.
When I try to press the "home" button, I accidentally hit the "favorite people" button, and then it puts a contact into that button and calls them.
So basically--I don't want the whole "favorite people" thing there, or I don't want any of the buttons to work at all.
How can I disable it?
Alternately, is there a "fake" contact entry or phone number I can place into the contact list and assign to all the buttons, that won't really call anyone?

[Q] No reply button

In notification's (mail, sms, whatsapp) there is no reply button to use a message template, S Voice or emoticons.
Only 'show on device' and 'delete' when you tab the button at the right high corner of the screen.
At the end of the message only 'show on device'.
Any suggestions please?

I havent seen a reply option for anything except SMS. The best option it seems is to turn on "Smart Relay" which in essence, if you are looking at a notification on your watch, and pick up your phone, your phone will automatically show the relevant item. This requires "Motion" to be turned on on the phone, i have a note 3.
Are you using Hangouts or Gmail? You can only use Samsung native apps in order to reply. I refuse to use the email application so I just get gmail notifications without ability to reply.
