Startup problem in cooked rom. - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

Hi,
I got a problem with the startup of my own cooked rom. The first screen appears(the sony ericsson screen "SEMC2904.bmp") but the seconds doesn't just get a black screen(the xperia screen, animated "SEMC1904.gif"). So first I thought my rom was corrupt since it didn't boot but after let the phone stay on a few minuts the wm 6.5 boot screen appeared and everything after that was fine. The two files for the xperia and the sony ericsson screen at startup are in the ExtendedPkg. So must be fine but it isn't. The oem is coming from my own dump of a uk R3AA rom.
I asked this question to gtrab before and he said it was a problem in the OEMdrivers. So I made a rom dump of the UK R3AA again and overwrite the oemdriver and extendedpkg dirs. But it is still not working.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks in advanced,

MDA won't boot

Hello everyone,
I have the MDA Vario (T-Mobile) for 2 weeks now and after i read all the articles about the new ROM from I-Mate i tryed to update my rom too.
Before i updated my rom i made a complete backup of the MDA with SPB Backup. http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/
After installing the ROM i found out that everything is working properly and i continued with restoring the backup file, too bad i found out that after restoring the files and a soft reset the MDA won't boot anymore. After the boot screen I-Mate the screen light is on and nothings happening.
I guess the problem is because the rom i used was Dutch language and the Rom i updated was English. Probably some data files are overwritten and the MDA can't boot anymore.
I'm desperate, i guess i can't use a RMA now because i updated the ROM?
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks!
Greetings, Eric
You might want to try this rom installation:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/Roms/Tmobile/MDA_Vario_1060202_103_11210_TMNL_Ship.exe
Its the original Dutch T-mobile rom version 1.6.2
If it does not work search how to get the phone into the boot/flash mode first before running the program.
Another option is that the Vendor id unlock has not been executed on the phone, so this stops the phone from booting another vendors rom.
Hello swadrian,
Thank you for your reply, i got the MDA in BootLoader Modus. I upload the I-Mate ROM now, it looks like its working. Never knew it had a BootLoader modus.. I got in the BootLoader modus by pressing the Camera Button + Power On Button and i pressed the reset button (soft reset). I'm now able to upload the ROM....
I will let you guy's know if it was the right solution...
EDIT 18:51 it's loading Windows Mobile 5 now, looks like it's working!!! i'm so happy!!!
Greetings

Hi gays. I need some help please...
The problem is - i can not make Hard spl..
So I should tell from the beginning..
It is my second Xperia X1. With first one i had no problems at all. I v´e done
Hard SPL, changed some custom FW´ etc.. Unfortunately my first Xperia X1 was stolen..
So I bought a new one, With T-Mobile Branding..
First of all I need to make Hard SPL, I donno why, but PC method do not work for me it stucks with 0%, so i decided tio make Hard SPL with SD Method.
I have 2Gb Sd formatted in FAT32
I have downloaded 3 SPL:
Original 72.000
72.Olinex
78.Olinex...
So if I copy 78.Olinex to sd card and rename it to Kovsimg.nbh and start phone with pressed Volume key and power button it goes in Tri-color Boot Mode and hangs with Loading...
IT IS WITH ALL SPL´S AND CUSTOM ROMS
I tought it is because Branding, so i have downloaded Generic Rom, and flashed it with SD..
THERE IS NO CHANNGES, STILL NO CHANCE TO FLASH OLINEX SPL, HANGS ON LOADING....
Please help me...

X1 Memory Low

Hi! I got the task of updating my friends X1 with a new rom etc. To the one I have which is Xperia unoff X1.5
When I did it on my X1 it went smoothly. No problems and it works like a charm.... However, now that I'm doing it on my friends, it ****s up! Big time.
I started with Hardspl, too 0.72.OliNex. After that I used task29, and no problem there. Then the rom which is xperia unoff x1.5, the installment of the rom went ok. But when I start the phone, it laggs as hell! Says "Memory Low" and that it couldn't start a program (the program to shut it down actually) so now, the phone is rendered useless...
The only difference between our phones is that mine is black and his is white...
Anyone got a clue about how to fix it?
unfortunately I don't have a clue right now, but as it seems rom related (color is irrelevant) did you
- search for similar reports in the specific rom thread?
- maybe ask for similar experiences in the specific rom thread in case you didn't find anything?
- consider flashing back to stock (only rom, not spl) and reflash the custom rom to see if that changes anything?
- considered flashing another custom rom for "comparison"?
gl anyway
Thanks for trying to help, though it wont be necessary. I found out that it was a prototype, which he stole... And I have it... So the problem lies there, some programs aren't adaptable to that phone, like .NET framework 3.5

[Q] Stylus doesn't work etc.

Hello all, I have Xperia X1 with firmware R3AA007 (about 5 months) and on friday 29.04.2011 this phone was restart unreasonably. After this I saw greel logo Windows mobile 6.1 only and that's all. So I taken off batterie and get back to phone after cca 10 minutes. Switched on phone and the same was happened. Green logo WM 6.1 and it's all. I loaded again this firmware and phone now working. But problem is that doesn't work stylus and nail (before problem everything worked). Now I can control only with my fingerprint but this is little bigger and everytime I'm touching on other place on screen. Could U help me please? Where would be problem? Thanx a lot for answers and help!!!!!
Did you try calibrating the screen again?
I tried everything. Can be mistake with ROM? What I'ld flash some other ROM?
I would try to redownload and flash the stock rom to exclude a problem caused by your copy of the rom.
