Could someone please provise me with values for these registry strings from a stock Topaz ROM with the original Phone Canvas?
HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\Cover\UntouchableRect
&
HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\Cover\UntouchableRect_NoRect
Thanks in advance.
Using PHM RegEdit, mine shows no value (blank) against both of those two.

Hey guys, I have an Orange SPV M3000 with an AZERTY keyboard. but I've flashed it with a Qtek 9100 ROM. Obviously, the keyboard in Qtek ROM is qwerty. Can someone post here a CAB file for azerty keyboard, cause this way it would be much easier for me, as I wouldn't bother remembering that when i want to write "w" i have to press "q" and so on.
Thanks
dimushor, please search the forum before ask something. this topic has been discused many times. however, here's the solution: create new string value called Locale in \HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd with value of 040C. that's it! you'll have AZERTY layout.

it doesn't work :x
did you soft reset after making the change? If you didn't.. dur
did you wait a while before performing that soft reset ? (easily checked by checking that registry value - if it's back to the original, you didn't wait (long enough))
for further information:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Changing_Device_Language
( note that "1036" in decimal is the same as "040C" in hexadecimal )
thanks, i managed to do that, thanx to zoki

This does NOT work on my 9100 with the 2.24a Mr. Clean ROM. The value is getting written into the registry but the keyboard layout does not change.
/politby
it works with Mr. Clean's ROM. don't forget: do not soft reset with the stylus. soft reset it with a program.
Hi,
I've flashed the HTC rom to my Kaiser and Orangeworld is not showing correctly. From a previous device, I remember that there are registry settings to fix this.
Can someone running the Orange UK rom please post the values for these registry keys please?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Internet explorer\User Agent
Thanks for any help

2 entrys
Default (value not set)
Custom PPC; 240x320; HTC P4450; OpVer 24.181.1.612
Hope this is what you need.
Darn I've put that in, but it's not working... just to make sure I understand what you said:
The key ending in "Post Platform":
no entries
And the key ending in "User Agent":
one entry named "Custom" with the value "PPC; 240x320; HTC P4450; OpVer 24.181.1.612"
Is that correct? Thanks for you help.

Nope sorry ill do it again
The key ending in "Post Platform":
Windows CE
And the key ending in "User Agent":
Two entrys
Default (value not set)
Custom PPC; 240x320; HTC P4450; OpVer 24.181.1.612
That's strange, the value in "Custom" still doesn't do the trick:
PPC; 240x320; HTC P4450; OpVer 24.181.1.612
However, I searched the web and found this for the old TYTN:
PPC; 240x320; SPV M3100; OpVer 12.16.5.111
and that causes Orangeworld to display correctly on my TYTNII !
Thanks for your help anyway TinyK, but I can't use the value that's in your registry for some reason...
Errr... TinyK I don't suppose you mean P4550 instead of P4450 do you?
Groan, rolling eyes... it's working if you use this string in "Custom"
PPC; 240x320; HTC P4550; OpVer 24.181.1.612
Thanks for you help again, we got there in the end ha ha ha
Hi,
I accidently changed 2 registry entries and can't remember the original values. Can someone help me out please?
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\LVSpeedHigh
HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\LVSpeedLow
Thanks in advance
Thomas
Original Values (in the German Original ROM) are "LVSpeedLow" -> 120 and "LVSpeedHigh" -> 70.
I have searched for list of registry keys in the manila folder . Somehow I accidentally deleted some of them .The ones I need are the ones having to do with the weather. Any help would be appreciated.
Could you please elaborate a bit more, like for instance list the registry hive you refering to and which version manila / rom. I could make you an export of my registry if you say which hive but without more info it's hard to provide much help.

HKEY_Current_User\Software\HTC\Manila\ ? Everything that is listed for weather. Some how is was deleted
Okies then,
Here's an export of the mentioned key of my registry, it indeed contains some settings related to weather:
Code:
"Weather_Focus"="United Kingdom"
"Weather.PostFirstRun"=dword:00000001
"Weather.CurrentCity"=dword:00000000
"Weather.CityList"="ASI|TW|TW018|TAIPEI,EUR|ES|SP008|BARCELONA,EUR|UK|UK001|LONDON,NAM|US|WA|SEATTLE,EUR|FR|FR012|PARIS,ASI|JP|JA041|TOKYO"
I'm currently running Dutty's WinMo 6.5 R4 rom so you might wanna check if you can directly import my reg file. It would be savest to delete the lines you dont want to import. To import download the attached manila.txt and rename to manila.reg, then import with an app that can like registry editor or total commander. Obviously you can edit the values in a text editor before importing if you want, this is the default this rom comes with.
Good Luck, hope this helps fix your problem.

Thanks for the reply ,but I think the registry is different from rom to rom . Im running Duttys 3.9 turbo . It has an extra line starting with barcelona , london , seattle , paris , tokyo
Hey guys,
today I updated my x1 with the "826x Series ** WM 6.5.3 build [21682] - Sense 2019 (18/10/2010)" ROM. The rom is brilliant, but i still have one problem. My qwertz keypad was converted to a qwerty pad, so if i type "z" my phone writes a "y" and vice versa. Is there a chance to change it in this Rom?
Thanks for help
you can solve this problem.
try this:
registry
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\
"CurLang"="407" (HEX) <--(german is 0407 country code!)
