Anyone can provide specific instructions how to remove the "for test only not for sale" message when booting my Jade (htc 3g) device?
Already flashed the ROM but that screen refuses to go... I also tried using the splash tool - created nb for the new splash screen but I can't find the tool to create the nbh for Jade...
Thanks
"test only not for sale"
I have a Touch HD (Blackstone) which I flashed back to a HTC ROM. This cleared the Test Only Not For Sale

I am just wondering if there is any cab file anywhere that replaces the T-Mobile boot screen where it tells you your IPL and SPL. I would like it to say HTC Wizard in all caps and be some kind of black screen similar to the T-Mobile pattern.
I have seen different boot screens before such as the wizard love rom with the final fantasy X boot screen.
If it is possible to change this without re-cooking the rom then please let me know.
Thanks, Dan.

the *.cab files replace the OS splash screen. The *.ZIP files contain *.nbf file that replaces (using the exe) the first screen.
Is there any way to install it without using the exe file because the ruu_splash.exe application won't work to install the SP splash screen because i found one i really like.
if you read that link, you have all the info you need to know on to create your own splash screens and how to get them to work. its in the first couple of pages or so
Hi!
I am having problems with my trinity and I need to send it to customer support, so I loaded SSPL and flashed back the original ROM as described here.
The problem is now, that at startup, red numbers still appear as shown in the attached picture. I am pretty sure that these numbers were not there before I upgraded to HardSPL and WM6 (bepe WM6 ger 0.79). When I enter the boodlader manually, it says "SSPL". What went wrong? How can I get rid of these numbers and return original device state?
PS: The reason why I need so send my trinity back to HTC is, that the device often crashes at startup or during runtime and the screen freezes with some graphical errors, which can also be seen on the attached image.
i think that numbers appear in the original bootloader, i remember that...
Hmm, I thought the numbers first appeared after switching to Hard-SPL, but maybe I am wrong. Can anymode else remember the initial state, or has anymode send his device to HTC with the numbers shown at startup?

TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1-07.0000
agreed
Flashed the same bepe version and it shows up same screens - trying to switch to another ROM (pref. the LIT), for too many drop out issues with the german bepe 0.79 (esp. with TT6 and Dialer) but cannot even get it to run the vodafone WM5 again - due to a broken cable, as I realize now - ok, we´ll see how far the LIT will LEAD
I have an original device with WM5, not yet upgraded, and I have the same red numbers.

Hey!
I'm going to give my P3600 back to the support service to have it fixed (as usual the black paint is peeling out very quickly from the bottom and the side). My phone is unbranded and I can't find the original ROM I downloaded from the HTC web site.
Do you know where I can find the original italian ROM for HTC p3600?
Anybody have it?
Thanx.
Everything went well and I received a brand new trinity today.

Good ....
Hey guys, not sure if ya can help, or if this has been asked before
I recently got an O2 xda stellar(kaiser)
i used to have a trion
Now I had installed the Hard SPL, then unlocked the CID , so boot screen now says at the top "security unlocked", and I have put a Schaps 4.30 FULL ROM ON, and it all works graet.
However the phone still boots up first displaying the O2 splash screen , then a HTC splash screen before the windows mobile splash screen
Does anyone know how to get rid of the O2 boot screen?
Thanks
if you had put in some effort to find the answer yourself, you would have seen "Flashing Custom Splash Screens" in the wiki and obtained this link

Hi,
I have a retail Opal (not network locked). But during start-up, i get an Idea Cellular (an Indian cellular operator) splash screen right after the Smart Mobility splash screen. Is there a way to get rid of this screen? Probably replace it with something else.
I did search the entire forum and came across a few posts about splash screens. Most seem to suggest that the phone has to be flashed with another ROM. I'm quite new to the WM world. I was wondering if it is possible to change this splash screen?
try Splash Changer by xiaojin1985.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517483
Well u can always install a new ROM. This removed the splash from my phone.
and if u re install the stock then youll get the HTC splash.
btw is it possible to change the FIRST splash logo? i mean the one where your spl version and so on is listed.
Install Advanced config 3.2
You can so easily do this by installing Advanced configuration v3.2 alongwith .NET compact framework 3.5.... All the best....

The startup is using /windows/Idealogoopalgif.gif file. Copy the file you want to use for the startup to windows directory & do following in the registry
Go to HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCAnimation & change the StartupGif file to the one you want.
PS: only gif files allowed
hi...i recently hard spl my touch pro 2 by tmobile with a hard spl meant for the sprint and att version of the phone...flash the Energy Rom, and now i cant get the "Toch Pro 2" splahscreen off...its the 1st splashscreen....anybody have any ideas on how to fix my problem? also, i heard if i flashed the hardspl again, it would clear the slashscreen, but i cant find the proper hardspl for the Us Tmobile version
you shouldn't have flashed the HardSPL for Sprint on your T-Mo TP2. Sprint is CDMA, T-Mo is GSM. flash this HardSPL:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550131
sorry about that
oh..im sorry..but that is the hardspl i flashed...i get a startup screen that says "Touch pro 2", which isnt on the tmobile us version
i think its the Energy Rom startup screen that i cant get rid of...i should of never tried 2 flash such an expensive piece of plastic
If you want to replace the initial boot screen (the first one with the red writing on it), find the TMobile splash screen in whatever image format, and follow the directions here. But FYI, it's not bad/harmful or anything to have that different boot screen, that's perfectly normal with most ROMs here. Anyway, hope that helps
The easiest way to return your "stick together" splashscreen is to install the tmo test shipped rom
http://xda.caspersworld.co.uk/Downl...31.2_Radio_Rhodium_3.44.25.17_Signed_Test.exe
that will return the splash screen to normal and the radio will be the closest thing to final shipped rom
then flash cdguider's rom which is a rebuild of the original
http://xda.caspersworld.co.uk/Downloads/Rhodium/cdguider_TMOUS_Shipped_Rom_1.20.531.4.rar
that should return your rom to normal.
thanks! that did the trick, ur awesome
