Tried flashing with the provided files, but still same old issue, RUU stops @ 2% of update... doesn't seem to be superCID...
too bad, we'll wait for HTC...

Well since my device bricked anyway i'll mess around somewhat, let's see what this ROM's got thank you for sharing But too bad this does not flash SuperCID on the device, but requires it i'll wait for the official ROM

I bit the bullet and tried but got this error:
Error 294 INVALID VENDER ID
I guess my HTC P4350 is not CID unlocked.

Thank you. is this file complete ROM update or just OS dump prepared for flashing to SuperCID device?

Hi all,
I have just flashed this new OS from the official rom (what people call, HERA_WM6_FLASHER.rar) on my P4350. This rom is for German device, like Wing's OS. There is not big difference, this is really for Herald. The mistake is the same, there are some wrong letters on the keyboard.
You can flash the OS with Aserg' way easily. Your device does not need to be unlocked.

How did you flash? did you rename the os.nb0 to os.nb and followed azergs instructions as normal?

Well, I tried replacing the os.nb file in asergs wm6, it gave a error, but when i did a hard reset, it worked just fine btw I renamed the os.nb0 to os.nb,and then replaced asergs os.nb....
im now testing out thecabs extracted from the touch and up to now its great

I used the Hermes NBH tools for that (see http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_NBH).
My problem si that rdmshflsh.pl does only extract files, not modules...
I'm trying to rebuild a ROM for the Wizard with this one, but if I don't get any modules, it is ok to have only files in the IMGFS?

i use this way to flash my c800
and ... unlucky it's bricked
i can go into the bootloader but i can't find one RUU-ROM for my c800
i try a lot of ROMS but they take a message"XXXXXXXXX ID" CID locking
my IPL/SPL all 1.09.0001
anybody knows how to unbirck it with another way?

Eluth, use scoter's kitchen to extract the modules. BTW, PM me if you need help with this. I've already got the OEM side of a T-Mobile wing running on my device. Runs like hell .

Well I tried this and it definitely works. I didn't get any increase in the storage size but the Touch IT nbh was similar to the original nbh so that's probably why. Maybe it's a placebo but I feel the phone is now much more responsive. Great writeup!

Hey, don't be stupid, this is a very good and detailed howto. I think most people didn't try it, because hardspl wasn't released and were afraid of bricking their device... I just installed hardspl and i'm now trying to flash a bit around

Well, I tried this four five times today with as much as I can understand. Still my devide bricked everytime . Can you please please attach some screenshots to your article!? Actually I am confused about the Rom building part. When you say that using the htcrt.exe tool, the OTHER files except for OS, EXTROM and SPLASH must NOT be modified, do you mean I need to specify the other values (SPL, IPL etc) from the original RUU ROM files? Or do I need to keep them "None" in the tool? All these questions would be easily answered if you can put up some screenshots...

CustomRUU for Jade

Hi all, I've created HTC Jade CustomRUU patched to perform a 'task 32' instead of a 'task 28' after flashing an .nbh, so it will not format your device if you just flash a radio or a splash screen.
How to: Drop the .nbh file of your choice in the same folder as CustomRUU and start flashing.
Everyone NOTE:
AVG and other anitvirus's usually detect a virus in CustomRUU.exe, it's false error. Disable your antivirus while downloading and flashing.

Yes it will, but you can only flash stuff if you have HardSPL installed.
So until it's released this app isn't much use to you
"What is is used for...?" It flashes the image from your PC to your device. There is a RUU with all ROM updates (including the carrier ones), this is is patched to stop you wiping your data if you are just flashing a Splash screen or Radio.

Put Hard SPL on the phone (see the stickies), then download a ROM and flash the by running the RUU executable (it should be included with the ROM - or download and use this one).

I have installed HardSPL (and confirmed) and downloaded the Radio ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=496737
When I run the CustomRUU.exe my device resets to boot mode with rainbow screen, changes to the grey screen with progress bar and USB at bottom, but then after short while it fails with connection error. Have tried on 3 different desktops with Vista/XP but same problem.
I have downloaded the CustomRUU.exe from here and tried, but same result.
Any ideas?

Just a quick one... Is this CustomRUU exactly the same as the one included in the Jade Kitchen?
If so, then I just drop the .NBH file (radio or splash screen) in the same folder and run CustomRUU, right?

After installing HardSPL v41 and dropping the .nbh file into the same folder as CustomRUU, the device reboots and shows tricolor
My Jade boot into tricolor screen that says
Jade100 64M
SPL-1.40.0000
MicroP-Jade (LED) v5
but get stuck in the a grey screen at 0%
why does it get stuck 0% in the flashing screen?

It will be a false positive. Many of the RUU programs have the same problems - I have written two wrappers now for the Blackstone and Topaz to remove the AV warnings. I'll see if I can knock together a Jade one.

yes of course, no matter how hard i tried, hardSPL doesnt get installed in the jade.
"...for non comercial purpose, please discuss with oli blah blah blah.." Why would I wanna discuss with him for something that doesnt flash my bootloader?

i lost my touch pro splash while flashing a rom. Has anyone the splash screen that is black with the text "touch pro" ?

Here you go.
Just unzip it,then you will have HTCHSplash.nbh.......
Just rename it to RAPHIMG.nhb,copy to sd card,and flash it from the sd the exact same way as you flash the rom:
How to enter bootloader mode:
1. Pull out the stylus
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the VOLUME DOWN button when bootloader appears.

first extracted the nbh file with winrar, second extracted the nbh file with the other program. But still the picture file is black.
i need the file with the words "touch pro" to modify it (i'm a webdesigner) and want my unique splash screen. I like the font of the touch pro splash. Thats why i need it
can you extract only the picture file? i want to modify the picture and than flash it

Task 29 aka MTTY for TD2?

I just performed this task 29 and rom upgrade for a friend and it worked well. I tried it on my phone but its the wrong model id obviously.
I was hoping somebody could make it so that it works on our phones as its a lot easier than performing the MTTY steps
It was in the rom section in the TP2 forum, so i put it in this section. Mods remove it if necessary but i felt this would be the right place for devs to modify it.

Download the attachment, place your ROM's .nbh with it and that's it. Use it as normal.

I did what u say, put the signed .nbh in the folder and ran the rom update utility.exe, it installed phone rebooted and now cant get past the touch diamond splash screen phone wont boot any ideas?
What is the rapitool.exe ?
