a2dp sound quality - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

The sound through my wireless bluetooth stereo headset is quite bad. You can hear a noise, which is not there if I connect my headset to for example my computer. Has anyone else experienced bad sound quality through a2dp? I already tried different radios with no luck.

BT headset - tiny sound

Does anyone else thinks that BT headset sound is a bit tiny? There is no low frequencies present that makes sound a bit harsh. I am comparing it with HTC Excalibur and Trinity. Is there a way to adjust this parameter via registry?
Yeah i thought this....Ive been using my bluetooth stereo headset and ive also tried the wired headset.
Im sure this was the same on the tinity though wasnt it when it was first released.
Stereo headset works fine for me with plenty of Bass. It's a regular BT headset that I am talking about. Both Jabra JX 10 and Nokia BH 900.
i have jx10 and everything was great with regular phone conversations, even the voice button works.
i have not try the stereo bt headsets so no comment on the music side.

when you say stereo headset...do you mean the bundled mini USB headset included with the Kaiser?
Thanks
no i mean stereo Bluetooth headsets. my jabra jx10 is only mono (one side), some BT has 2 sides (L&R) stereo for musics.
Sorry yeah i misread the first post .
I actually thought though with the standard bundled USB headset the sound was a little tinny.
with my stereo DS970 (se) headset the sound is fine.....I was talking about the standard USB headset.
sorry guys misread the first post.
anyone have registry keys that can be tweaked to make BT mono sounds better?
Guys, this is the first HTC device with this kind of problem! It really drives me crazy. Am I only one who annoyed by this?
I'm having the same problem with tiny BT sound over A2DP. I'm using an i.Tech S.38 which works perfectly apart from the VERY low volume (volume sliders in actual programs and volume control on S.38 are set to full.). When I pair the S.38 with my laptop the volume is much higher.

We've already been discussing the poop out of this at

Really unpleasant feature.

Crappy sound with bluetooth earphones.

I'm using Jabra 3030 and I'm getting really crappy sound. If I use the standard earphones, everything sounds great.
I read somewhere that an alternative music player would solve the problem, but nope. Sounds just as bad.
Has this got anything to do with audio booster?
Is there a walkaround to this problem?
Isn't there anyone who has a solution to this problem?
I bought a Jabra 3030 this saturday: Getting it exchanged due to excessive background noise.
It is noise you have too? If so, there is nothing wrong with the phone, its the crappy 3030 as other phones and even a laptop does the same. I've tested with a DS-200 and it sounds as good as wired buds.
There are some registry tweaks that greatly improve BT audio.
Under HKLM\Software\ Microsoft\Bluetooth \A2DP\Settings , remove the "MaxSupportedBitPool" and "BitPool" entries.
As usual, don't touch your registry if you are not sure, and keep a backup just in case...

No, i think it's the lack of bass that makes the sound so bad.
That's why I thought of audio booster.
When I'm watching movies the sound is ok, but my metal sounds blah.
I don't think the problem lies in the Jabra device.
Renewing topi. Does anybody have any idea how to enable AudioBooster on BT headphones? It is disabled unless you connect normal headphones. Hopefully there is an option in reg somwhere to do it....
Why not just try a player that has a built in pre-amp????
- CorePlayer
- SRS WOW
That would solve your problem - if lack of bass is the problem. At least it would be a good (and quick) test.

BT call sound quality

Is it any way to increase quality of call via bluetooth.
I have superb sound when I am listening to music (A2DP) so I think tah is possibel to increase quality of call sound cause it is a bit crapy.
Any advise?
When you are listening to music you are using the A2DP BT profile, which is designed for stereo and gives good sound quality. But when you use a BT headset for phone calls it has to use BT headset or handsfree profiles. These are mono and have poorer sound quality (I have heard it described as AM not FM radio quality. Having said that the quality on mine is acceptable for a phone call, and is certainly up to the standard of the phone speaker itself. But it will never be as good as A2DP.
tnx for your answer but do not get me wrong I am not expecting stereo and hifi quality in phone call. I am only saying that phone call quality is worse via BT then without an I am asking is there any tweak so I can improve it.
When I first tried listen music via A2DP it was awful but after some reading here i found tweak and it is working just wonderful!

A2DP problem using sony BLUETOOTH headset

Currently i have the HTC fuze (AT&T) aka Diamond. I just purchase the sony bluetooth headset DR-BT160AS. I have tried everyway possible i can think of to get more sound out of these headphones. It sound like im listening to music threw a bottle next door in MONO. I tryed adjusting the preset ( audio booster) with the help of tweaksdiamond. Nothing but here the knock why is it when i have the audio adapter plug into the phone i can get great sound and adjust the presets, But threw the bluetooth i get mono sound with no adjustments. Its pairs wirless headset, hands free, it work the fucntions of changing the track and adjusting volume and i can recive calls.... but with poor sound.
programs used :
blue audio
tweaksdiamond
Has anyone had this issue using wirless bluetooth stereo headsets w/a2dp enabled.
@LPHAR56 -aka- do you hear me now "HELL NO!"
I have a pair of Sony DR-BT140Q and they work/sound really great every time. They're not the same kind, but maybe yours are defective?
Try pairing it with a laptop or any other device to see if you get the same results
thanks i try to do it with a laptop. if i can see if it just my pair having issues.. just can figure out the issue

Headphones issue

Hello again
Really often I use my phone as a media player, especially in my car, connected via headphones cable. Until now all works fine with all my devices, but with the Maze Alpha the sound is just in mono (left side) - with any app. In the android settings I disabled the sound reinforcement options but nothing is changed.
I know that the speaker plays sounds just in mono, but I found no hints in reviews that this is the same for headphones. If this device generally not able to play sounds in stereo, is this a big fail for the manufacturer.
So please check my issue and give me a feedback. I'd also be happy if someone can tell my a solution for this to get real stereo sounds.
Many thanks in advance and best wishes
Dan
Headphone jack
Same issue here only one chanel
I haven't try to use it directly with large speakers though. It seems that you might need an amplifier to get the right sound despite defaulting to a stereo sound system only. The secret is to sound issue in Maze Alpha is to get quality earphones.
