sony update service: no update available - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

i'd like to restore to a valid update from the sony update service.. so i restore my stockspl successfully , loaded update service however it says there is no update for my device.
currently i have x1_firestorm_v5.0.28005LEO-MAX ... it works well however like i said above i need to restore to the original sony firmware
i dont know why it says no update is available?
pls help?

u flashed stock spl without going back to an official rom first?
nevermind here are all the official roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475482

ok i downloaded this one
but its a .image file.
what or how do i use this image file?
can i rename to nbh and ???
APP_SW_X1i_GENERIC_UK_CDF1215-1832_KOV_R3AA010.image

got it.
renamed to ruu_signed.nbh and added romupdateutility.exe.
first time it failed for some reason at 10%
tried again with success

u update your phone while using stock spl?

i installed STOCKSPL 0.72
on the colored screen it says:
KOVS110
SPL-0.79.0000
MICROP1-707
MICROP2-707
updateservice says i am at the latest, R3AA010
is this the latest?
is there a ROM with arabic localization?
because when i bought the x1 i remember it had a button that said "iTouch"... i backed up that rom but damn it doesnt work. the backup i made DOES restore just fine but it doesnt go back to the way the phone was when i bought it.

How do i apply the rom?

I have installed the Hardspl on my g4 phone all ok and downloaded a diamond 6.1 rom, but i cant work out how to apply it to the phone?
I also have the wizard service tool, but unsure how to write the rom?
Many thanks
Simply hook up your phone with pc via usb cable, open the Rom folder you downloaded and run the RUU (RomUpdate_Utility),it'll start to flash,The screen of your phone will change to Bootloaders mode (multicolor),let it finish,it'll restart and boot up to new OS(windows)
Thanks for you help zabardast,
My phone entered the bootloader, but the ruu returned a 300 update error?
Says i need to update the RUU version of the software?
try swapping(overwriting) the ruu files with the ones zabardast posted as an attachment in post 45 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2370483#post2370483

sooo... im stuck on the stock SPL-0.57 bootloader

i've been at this for the better of 9 hours im stuck at the stock .57 spl bootloader screen, it says upgrade rom code error please try again been trying to flash spl unlockers all day.... i get a 0% progress bar and thats it...
i moved to a new computer, redownloaded everything and still the same result.
i hard reset/soft reset, goes right back to the bootloader.
this is a sprint/cdma phone.
"DIAM500
SPL-0.57.0000
MicroP-Diam (LED) vB
PSOC-Diam STAGE_EVT v20
Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again"
Try flashing the Olinex Hard-SPL version if you haven't tried that one already.
If that doesn't work download the OFFICIAL ROM update and install it -- but make sure you flash the correct one. For example, if your HTC Diamond is Orange Branded then download the Orange ROM Update, or if theres no branding then download the HTC version. Since yours is Sprint, see if you can find an official ROM upgrade for that.

thanks for your input! i really do think thats all i need is an official cdma rom, i tried a gsm rom (no worries the CID stops it) and the progress bar acually goes to 1%, so something is working, you wont believe how much i jumped for joy when i saw that.

What should the boot loader screen shows for Stock SPL

Hi everbody
I used HARDSPL to flash cocked roms on my X1
the point is I have to send it to repair the keypad, I tried SE update center to flash the stock 6.1 ROM, but it didn't work as I expected, so I flashed the stock RUU_SIGNED from the sticked Hard SPL thread here, tried to update again using update center, and bingo, it's working, but my point is, what should the boot loader screen now be showing, mine shows
"KOVS110
SPL-0.78.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP1-707"
any problems if I sent it to the repair center now?
thx

you're fine, that's how it should look like.
(actually, you reflashed stock-spl 0.72 and SEUS updated it to 0.78)
if you still had hard-spl on it, it would read "0.72.OliNex".
edit:
did you flash a stock-rom first or not? you should do that BEFORE flashing stock-spl... (in case you're using a custom rom)
Thanks dreaminside

concerning the bootloader-figures you're fine.
Looking at your SPL its looks like you've been successful

first of all let's check what spl you have right now!!!
with phone off hold volume down key while powering on the phone this should bring you to the bootloader screen (tri-color screen) check to see what spl you have & post it here then we will go from there
or you could try this instead
how to reflash Stock/Shipped SPL - STEP BY STEP - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!
0. please make sure you already flashed stock ROM and radio, because stock SPL flash is *always* the last step before sending the device in.
1. download the Relocker attachment, extract the zip and run the EXE on your PC
2. if you wish to replace RUU_Signed.NBH that got extracted, feel free to do so, but not necessary (this Hard-SPL will only allow overwrite with a SPL signed by our custom cert). the included one is the 0.79.0000 stock SPL. you also have the option for 0.84.0000 and 0.87.0000, see the attachments.
3. flash
4. verify if it flashed by checking version in tricolour screen, it should say 0.79.0000 (or 0.84.0000 or 0.87.0000), not 0.85.OliNex.
SPLRelocker
SPL Restore 84
SPL Restore 87
