What should the boot loader screen shows for Stock SPL - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everbody
I used HARDSPL to flash cocked roms on my X1
the point is I have to send it to repair the keypad, I tried SE update center to flash the stock 6.1 ROM, but it didn't work as I expected, so I flashed the stock RUU_SIGNED from the sticked Hard SPL thread here, tried to update again using update center, and bingo, it's working, but my point is, what should the boot loader screen now be showing, mine shows
"KOVS110
SPL-0.78.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP1-707"
any problems if I sent it to the repair center now?
thx

Maybe this topic can help you to find out how to restore SPL
read "how to restore Stock SPL for warranty reasons."

you're fine, that's how it should look like.
(actually, you reflashed stock-spl 0.72 and SEUS updated it to 0.78)
if you still had hard-spl on it, it would read "0.72.OliNex".
edit:
did you flash a stock-rom first or not? you should do that BEFORE flashing stock-spl... (in case you're using a custom rom)

Thanks dreaminside

well, I couldn't flash stock rom using SEUS without first flashing Stock SPL, so yeah, I flashed SPL first, then ROM, but boot loader is still showing the same msg, so am I still fine ??

well, if SEUS didn't complain...
concerning the bootloader-figures you're fine.

Looking at your SPL its looks like you've been successful

You'll need to get an official ROM and flash it. (official ROMs contain the shipped SPL as well as the OS)
I already have the official 2.27 unlocked ROM. I tried to reflash it but still the SPL stays the same. Do I need to do something before flashing the official ROM?

URGENT: flashing back to stock for warrenty - all gone wrong

hi
i've need some help urgently on this as the phone is being picked up in the morning and its currently going really bad
i had dutties 3.9 rom on, but i found a 1.19 orange rom in the wiki, so installed this.
however the display is very bad, and is only showing 16 colours so looks rubbish
I belive this is to do with the SPL
This is what i did:
1. put phone in bootloader mode (was displaying SPL 1.56)
2. ran blac_uspl.exe in USB mode which changed the SPL to 1.15 (USPL)
3. installed the rom
did i do something wrong?
any help VERY appreciated
Thanks
Did you tried to flash back your original SPL??
USPL is just a temporary patch of the SPL...
I think you have to flash back to SPL 1.15...
To check if you have the right version put phone in bootloader mode it should displaying SPL 1.15...

You are getting it wrong!
USPL is a temporary patch to allow you to flash a unauthorized ROM!
You have currently SPL 1.56 installed, but you need flash back stock SPL 1.15

1. dnload the stock spl from the said thread.
2. dnload the hspl 1.56 olinex wrapper
3. connect ur fone to pc in the bootloader mode.
4. run the hspl 1.56 olinex wrapper and do nothing to the onscreen utility.
5. wait fr the files to be xtracted in the window from where u ran the hspl wrapper.
6. replace the self extracted ruu_signed.nbh with the stock spl 1.15 that u downloaded.
7. continue with the ruu utility.

yes you're right, it solved my problem
the reason i didn't try in the first place was becuase the title said HARD SPL and i didn't want to mess it up as i used USPL
i used Restore_Stock_SPL_115.zip and swapped the nbh file after initilizing installation (after extraction) and it worked great
thanks for all your help guys!!!!!!

Can SFR S300+ unlocked and HardSPL use the HTC or DOPOD offical rom?

I have a SFR S300+ unlocked and hardspl, and all function of it are ok. But when I put my device into bootloader, I saw the red text "WLAN ERROR" under the text USB on bootloader screen. I don't know how to fix this problem, but I think if my device use the official rom, the bootloader will be downgrade to the original bootloader and solve this problem. But I can't find the official rom for SFR S300+, it only have official rom for DOPOD and HTC. Can I use DOPOD or HTC official rom for my device. Anyone can help me? Thank you.

Official rOm from sFr and everything to get back to original can be found here, instructions in french :
Official sFr rOm
Official rOm from hTc can be found here :

I would suggest you try to hard spl again with version Olipro 1.2
I had Olipro 1.3 and also ended with this WLAN error message,
plus flashing issues, so for me return to 1.2 and no problem ever
So, happy flashing.

Thank you so much. I'm going to flash these Rom.
I tried to flash with the NBH SPL in this SFR official Rom, but now when I put my device to Bootloader, it shows 3 bootloader screens:
- The fisrt is:
Trin 100
IPL -0.5
Trin100
SPL 1.3Olipo
USB
WLAN ERROR
- The Second is: Loading
- And the last is:
Trin 100
IPL -0.5
Trin100
SPL 1.3Olipo
USB
I don't understand what's happen with my device. Can anyone explain for me? Thank you.
If you mean there re 3 colors plus white, then it's normal
I see you have olipro 1.3, to get rid of the WLAN error install bootloader Olipro 1.2
Then, flash the so called "ROM".

No, there are 3 screens appear in turn after I press Camera+Power buttons and reset. Thank for your repply.
The 3 screens are not normal. You should see a single, stable tricolor screen.
Could you try to return to Olipro 1.2 then tell me the result ? does it correct bootloader ?

I try to use Olipro 1.2, and the result is the text "Wlan error" disappear, but my phone still have 3 bootloader screens. I think if I flash original rom with original bootloader, my phone will go back to normal. The rom you sent to me only have origin SPL, OS, and radio, not have original bootloader. Thank you (sorry for my English)
What about those "3 screens" ? here attached is a normal photo of the bootloader, eg style of screen

Flashing Back to Stock ROM

can anyone give me a step by step on how to flash my ROM back to STOCK?
if you want it for warranty reasons then you will need to flash the SPL also to stock. you can just download the latest ROM from HTC website and flash it. it will give you the stock ROM on the existing SPL.
End of the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2710548&postcount=1.
Remember you will also need to go back to stock spl if for warranty purposes.

I've kinda got thesame question. I flashed a stock rom (latest EU rom from HTC site), then stock SPL (1.14) and then the stock rom again. Is this enough to be able to claim warranty without HTC finding out about custom roms/boatloaders?
Thanks

That depends. What was your original rom and spl? Are you entitled (via location) to use the new EU rom, eg if you live in America then this may not be acceptable to HTC.
When you boot up the new rom, are the screen colours ok as this will tell you if you have the right spl for your rom? If you have the latest EU rom, I doubt that 1.14 spl would be the right one, but it could be I guess. With the stock rom, you should also get the stock radio. So provided you have the stock rom available to your area, with the correct matching spl and the radio, there is no way to tell of your exploits
Thanks for your reply
The problem is that the screen of my device won't turn on anymore (Device powers on, I can connect with activesync, digitizer works fine) so i have no way of checking if I have the right SPL or not...
I also have no idea what my stock rom/spl/radio version was.. I live in the Netherlands, and through the official HTC site i flashed the latest rom, which included a radio (a radio version was part of the filename). What I'm trying to find out is:
Could 1.14 have been my stock SPL, or was that version never used on any Dutch Blackstone?
If the spl doesn't match the rom (wrong colours) that isn't much of a problem; I can tell them I tried to update my rom because I thought maybe my screen would work again after I installed the latest ROM... But if I have a SPL that was never even used I don't think they will buy that
According to the wiki there are 2 Dutch roms - one would require a 1.14.0000 spl and the other a 1.54.0000 spl. So I guess either of those would do.
When you flashed the rom from the website, where you still using hspl or uspl? Depending on the rom you flashed you will need to flash the matching spl. Do you have the full notation/naming of the rom you flashed. This should give an indication of which spl you will need.
As much as I appreciate ClydeB1 for assisting you, I fail to see a reason for this thread. A thread already exists for flashing advice, i.e. the dummies guide. Also the HardSPL thread exists and has advice on how to flash back to stock. So depending on your query post in either of these.
The initial query and reason this thread was created has been answered, so no need for this thread to remain open. Thread closed
