Hello there!
I have a weird problem with my Tytn2. When i try to turn it off by pressing for 5 seconds the power button, it displays on the screen the regular message, that power will be turned off and i may lose data if not saved. Press ok and the power seemes to be turned off completely, because the green led won't flash. But, when i press the power button trying to turn on the device, it doesn't boot for entering the system, it just suddenly display the Orange Logo and above it a tiny black bar with the proper icon showing me that i have no phone signal at all (see picture). By pressing the "x" in the right side of the bar, the logo dissapear and appears the home screen, but the same icon is showing that i have no signal at all. I have to go to the comm manager, press once the Phone symbol which is already blue (enabled), and it sticks on the Flight mode. Press once again the Phone, and i have phone signal. The fact is that the phone it doesn't turn off completely and it hangs in a weird state (sleep mode ?). Please help me if you can! Thank you very much !

you try with another battery (battery type)...!
because the device is hard brick with the physical characteristics of a black screen (no boot loader) and only the green LED on
Same thing happened to my Kaiser last winter. I even tried a new display. Bit nothing. Then I let it rest for one or two weeks and it worked just fine again.. Maybe it was the cold.

hi, thanks for answer
definitely I think that it's without boot loader, but in this moment I don't have another batt, but I don't understand why the LED indicator doesn't turns green when I plug the charger without batt installed, Do you believe that it can be saved?
one more thing, that I was flashing my device, maybe everything inside it was erased,
I don't know it's just a supposition
My advice should you take your device to customers service to be examined or to repair
I hope your device can be saved ..
Hi, I received an unlock code and I followed the directions.
I put in my T-Mobile sim card and started my Atrix HD. When it finished loading, it went to this grey background screen that asked for the unlock code with either option of "Enter"ing or "Dismiss"ing. I inputted my code, and pressed Enter to unlock it. After that, the two options disappeared as well as the bar for entering the code, but stayed on that same grey background screen with nothing but that and the time, signal strength, battery life, etc. on the top of every android. About 5 seconds later, my phone picked up T-mobile and was finally unlocked (I was getting texts, etc), but it was still on the grey background screen. I've been waiting for over 2 hours now, and it is still stuck on the grey screen. I have tried pressing the home button, the back button, and the tabs button, but none of them does anything and stays on the grey screen. I am able to turn the screen off and on and adjust the sound with the physical buttons, and everything works at the locked screen. When I try unlocking the screen, opening the camera, opening the phone or text, it all goes back to the grey screen. Also when I try turning off the phone with the physical button, no option of powering off appears on screen, it just stays on the grey screen.
Help! How do I get rid of this grey screen. I have not tried restarting because I do not know how to restart the phone without being given the option by pressing the power button. I've held the power button, but that did nothing.

Nevermind! I found the answer to own question. Since the lock screen still works, I just went to the lock screen and without unlocking the screen, I pressed the power button and the power off options appeared on the lock screen. So I was able to restart my phone that way. The grey screen is gone after I restarted. Hope this helps.

Just press the power button once (without holding it) like you're locking the phone. The screen will turn black, now press it again, you'll see the lockscreen now press and hold the power button till you see the power off option coming up.

My s3 boots and volume is working, but the screen cuts on and off, mainly is blank, but if I press the power key, then the home button, it comes on for about two seconds, then goes blank again. The car app is on, and I can't turn it off because the screen wont stay on long enough for me to turn it off. Is this the problem or is it something deeper like a bad rooting attempt or hardware problem?

This is S3 mini thread, not S3 thread.
Sometimes, the screen couldn't be turned on even if I press the power button, it seemed to be dead, but if I long press the power button, the screen turned on, and the menu of restart and power displayed, I selected to restart the gear, and then all will be OK. It had happened 3 times, I wonder if it is a software bug or hardware problem.
A few hours ago i try to Hard-Reset my Z1 because it keep restart it self while im using it. After i press ERASE ALL DATA or something like that buttons the phone went off and start again with android logo on it with some loading bars underneath. After a few minutes the screen went off, the phone restart and stuck on the booting screen. so i tried to manually restart it with long pressed on power key, didnt work so i use the OFF key in side the sim tray panel. It work and the message Android is Upgrading appears. Optimizing Apps 1 of 3. After it go through 3 of 3 the phone restart again. Same thing appears but the "1 of 3" turn into "1 of 2" AND then it repeat with 1 of 1 apps message. the screen went off again then boom! it's dead. No LED lights, cant turn the device on, charging doesn't work, PC Companion cant detect the phone. I try the "Repair device" options but still not working. Power key+Volume Up doesn't work, OFF key in the sim tray panel doesn't wok also.
Anyway i can do to bring it back?
Ps.Sorry for my bad English
