Has anyone run into this with the HTC TyTN II.... where suddenly it just starts acting slow?
It basically sits on the 'Windows Mobile' screen for about 5-10 minutes before it loads the OS screen. What the heck?
I guess the next thing for me to do is to reprogram the ROM? what sucks is ive never done this...

Now im getting this message:
"The Device is unable to boot because either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from untrusted source....." couldn't write up the rest....
try to pt another rom.
and radio too
try to flash everyting agian. this will fix the problem i guess.

anyone having this problem? been using the vista rom for 2 months now it's giving this error randomly and it hangs my pda from time to time and the only way to reset it is to take out the battery.. got to do with trusted signee or something.

any luck with this error, i have the same problem but only in email and messaging...
I got the Same Error in A.Z.T.O.R. Rom when i try to scroll to left/right in E-Mails.
Biotouch.exe could not get started or mabye its no trustet certifikate.

Hello guys!
I'm having some trouble with my HTC Touch Diamond. I am running the latest ROM, and the phone has worked perfectly since I've got it!
But one day it suddenly powered itself of during a phonecall and I was not able to power it on again. I removed the battery, put it in again, didn't work. Took out the battery and waited for almost 30 minutes, tried again and now it worked!
Since then the phone locks up in no systematical pattern (when I wake up in the morning it mybe locked itself, sometimes when I listen to the radio or typing an SMS..). Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Can't type in the serial number as I just have managed to turn it on.
What should be mentioned is the behavior when trying to start it. Either the phone gives no respons, or it "buzzez" and the display shows "touch diamond", but the rom version is not appearing down to the right. When it starts, it starts just as it should and no error messages is displayed.
I have not tried doing a hard reset yet, which I must say is considered the last option.
Have anyone experienced something like this? Or does anyone have a suggestion about what might be causing this?

Edit: have performed a hard reset now (did not format the 4gb). But the problem is not gone.. The phone just died while surfing. Now it locks at the green windows mobile-screen just before the homescreen loads (if it even boots at all...)

Im having a weird time with my Diamond.
It suddendly started to SR itself, every few seconds.
I cant even sync it to save data or even do a HR since it suddendly restarts.
Its running 1.93WWE Official rom, stock spl ...stock everything.
Any suggestions??
It came to me from nowhere..
I have had tomtom7 installed on my T-Mobile Compact V. Ive also upgraded .NET to 3.5 and installed g-config so as to allow TT7 to work in landscape mode. Everything worked fine, (other than the known problem of the clipped audio).
However I now find that sometimes (more and more regularly), when I start TOMTOM, I get the spash screen, but when that dsiappears, TT7 doesnt start.
The only way round this is to do a soft reset and start TT7. however when I exist and then later try to start it again it again sometimes refuses to start.
Anyone else had this problem?

I have the same problem...sometimes it starts at the first time, others it doesn't start for 4/5 times...
I get that problem occasionally, but I have never had more than a single incident - simply launching the app again (without a soft reset) has always worked for me...so far.

Sometimes it starts the first time, sometimes after 2 to 10 times ! And sometimes it won't start at all and the soft reset is needed. (ClerRAM level 2 doesn't work in thoses cases).
Pretty annoying beacause sometimes during a day I have to start TomTom 20 times (and if every time I need to start it 10 times ... you do the math !)
I guess there is a process interfering with TomTom boot, but I can't seem to find wich one...
Which version of TomTom do ya all use?
I use 7.910 without any problems.
With 7.915 I had problems but not for long because I un-installed it very quick.

i have the same problem but i have to just try and restart the app once or twice again for it to work. The version im using is 7.915 (installed using ttn7.915.9196.vga_black.cab). If u actually have the MS error reporting on it shows that an error occured but just asks to send info to MS. however im not sure how to check the details of the error.
any ideas?

While using TT yesterday, I found that i dont have to reset, I just need to keep launching it, till it starts.
i had the same problem when i installed tomtom on the storage card, it instaled on the phone now and it starts first time, everytime
Ok after receiving my warranty replacement Touch Pro 2 from T-Mobile I go to unlock it with Hard-SPL and of course got the license error. I got this squared away with the developers but now when I run Hard-SPL in automatic mode nothing happens...Windows 7 acts like its working for a few seconds but no windows pop up, no error messages, nothing. The phone screen doesn't go black or reboot either. Trying manual mode the phone resets but then it just seems to hang at the 0% progress indicator forever. I sync just fine...not sure what else I can tell you guys...what is going wrong? With my first TP2 I never had a problem...
Try running as administrator and disabling your anti-virus software when you run it.
did that, still no luck, any other ideas?
Have you got your issue resolved btw? I'm stuck with the same problem now...

in another of your posts I saw you had a RHOD500 device. so don't try to use the Hard-SPL for tmobile tp2...
