Help: HTC Diamond GSM flashed with Diamond CDMA Rom

hi
by mistake, HTC Diamond GSM flashed with Diamond CDMA Rom and now it's totally dead. i tried all way to put it in bootloader mode (vol down reset..) but no luck
any chance to revive it ?

Blackstone Htc Unlocker Issues

Greetings to all..Well to go straight to the point.I bought the htc unlocker from olipro some few hours ago and having some serious issues with the software.Well in the process of flashing the rom the the display colour changed and it has not been well ever since..I tried flashing again and it tells a hard spl has already been detected so i couldn't re-do the whole thing again.I tried unlocking the radio and it tells me I am in a flight mode which I am not or the i have to purchase an IMEI..I am seriously confused as to what to do next since my phone(htc touch hd) screen display looks like a real mess.I know i may have done something wrong somewhere.So i want to guys to help me fix this.Below are some additional info of the phone.
Rom Version: 1.19.61.1 WWE
Radio Version: 1.09.25.14
Model No: HTC Touch HD T8282

The unlocker is used to unlock a sim, and is not what is needed to flash a rom. You need to read this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377.
When your phone is in the bootloader (tri-colour mode)what spl is showing? All the symptoms you describe are indicative of having the wrong spl for the rom you have flashed. As this thread will be closed down soon, please post any further questions in the thread linked above.

Well the thing is..am trying to unlock my htc touch hd which is orange uk branded.so i saw olipro's thread on how to unlock it..thts all..
Well the display is just wrecked like when u have a bad vga on pc..
DO u have any ideas as to wht is happening and if i have used the wrong software,how to i revert to the factory settings and get my display back?
any ideas on how to unlock my phone..

Dummys guide to flashing a rom.

You should get a mod to remove the references to the IMEI number you posted. It's not wise to put this number in a public place.

I haven't unlocked my phone before, so I'm not sure exactly what the unlocker does. If you didn't change the rom, then the unlocker must somehow have changed the spl version and hence the bad colours. Not to worry, it can be fixed. As this thread is likely to be closed soon, please take the discussion further in the thread that I (and alexpetrucci) linked to above.

You can, just click Edit and then delete it

First off, if you are using Olipro's unlocker and having difficulty...why not post in his thread??
Secondly, where do we currently stand? Have you followed the dummies guide? What is your current SPL?
Any further flashing queries should be posted in dummies guide thread

i dnt know what ROM you flashed but if you got stuck on a white screen it might of been a bad flash due to maybe: a bad download or wrong SPLor something else (multiple reasons) first make sure you are hardSPL also that you phone is GSM & to get the best answer on you question post on the correct threat where you got the ROM from.

i used Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3_185HSPL to flash it then MR.X_RhodiumW_2.5.
i wanted to try MR.X_RhodiumW_2.5.... and how do i know my HTC is CDMA or GSM?

If you have a SIM card for using your phone, it is GSM. If not, CDMA.

Sorry that's not right. The CDMA phones also have a SIM slot for when roaming.
The best way to tell is to take out your battery and look at the phone model number, near to where the serial number is written. GSM phones are RHOD100, RHOD200, RHOD300 (and variants which alter the last two digits). CDMA phones are RHOD400 and RHOD500.

MR.X_RhodiumW_2.5 is a cmda rom. Flash a gsm rom. (check battery first)

If you did flash the wrong type of ROM, it's easy to fix. Just put the phone into bootloader (hold the Volume Down button and keep it down while you press reset, and wait for the tri-coloured screen to appear), connect it to your PC and flash another ROM.

[Q] WM 6.5 for htc touch pro2

Hi all.This is my first time visiting this forum.I hope you can help me.
I have a htc touch pro2 and it is in german language.Can you please find for me a WM 6.5 for it because i want to upgrade it in english.I have HardSpl and Active SInc but i only need WM6.5.
I tried to download it in htc official page but it requires a S/N and when i put my S/N it says it is a wrong S/N.
Could you find for me a WM6.5 to download without requireing a S/N.

If you have Hard SPL installed, then flash any one of the custom ROMs in this forum.

I read this somwhere and I want to upgrad my HTC in this way also.
As you can see this is for HTC touch pro not for htc touch pro2 but someone said to me that it is the same work process.

So let’s say that you live in Taiwan and want to buy a fancy new HTC Touch Pro smartphone. You’ll quickly learn that in Taiwan you can only find the Chinese version of this phone. Importing a European version is expensive, plus you won’t get any contract signup discounts. US phones use provider-customized firmware that may not work correctly or optimally in Taiwan.
Don’t despair. There’s active communities of HTC enthusiasts who have extracted HTC firmware in English and other languages. It’s a fairly simple process to change the firmware on your phone, but the documentation is slim, so it’s difficult to know where to start. Here’s a simple guide on what you need to do. Each page referenced has additional information if you need more detail:
1 ) Download and install on your computer the English version of ActiveSync from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-synch.mspx (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-synch.mspx)
2 ) Turn on your phone and connect the USB cable that came with the phone (aka the charging cable) between your phone and computer and set up the phone to sync. You don’t need to actually sync anything yet, you just need to get ActiveSync on your computer to say it is “Connected”.
3 ) Download to your computer and extract RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_1_90_3.zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150). Normally you can only install ROM firmware versions intended for your version of the HTC Touch Pro. HardSPL will change the SPL firmware to allow any HTC Touch Pro ROM firmware to be installed.
4 ) Make sure your phone battery is more than 50% charged or the SPL and ROM firmware will not install.
5 ) Run RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe on your computer. Follow the prompts in the program to start the SPL upgrade. After the upgrade starts there may be an inquiry on your phone’s display asking permission to switch into the bootloader. Press “是” (yes). Do not do anything on your phone or computer until the installer says the process is completed and your phone has restarted. (Note that it says the firmware upgrade takes up the 10 minutes but the SPL is small so it will be much faster.)
6 ) Download to your computer RUU-Raphael-HTC-WWE-1.90.405.1-Radio-Signed-Raphael-CRC-52.33.25.17-1.02.25.19-Ship.exe from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs). At this writing there are newer ROMs there but this one is the stable released version on shipping English phones. (In the future there may be a newer stable release.)
7 ) Run RUU-Raphael-HTC-WWE-1.90.405.1-Radio-Signed-Raphael-CRC-52.33.25.17-1.02.25.19-Ship.exe on your computer. The interface is similar to the SPL upgrade, but this upgrades the main ROM firmware. Again, do not do anything on your phone or computer until the installer says the process is completed and your phone has restarted. This firmware is very large so it will take several minutes.
8 ) When your phone restarts it’ll go through the install process just like a brand new phone. (Your dealer may have done this for you when you bought the phone.) It’ll take several minutes to install the OS and additional software, calibrate the display and setup your phone network settings.
9 ) Congratulations, your Chinese phone now speaks English.
But in step 6 there is a 6.1 WM and i want a 6.5.Is it clear?

Are you using a Raphael (Touch Pro) or a Rhodium (Touch Pro2)?

process may be similar but IT'S NOT THE SAME FILE!! you have a touch pro 2, that Raphael file will brick it. you need to use touch pro 2 or rhodium Hard-SPL, not raphael...

Ok i understand now.So i have to download rhodium HardSpl.
I also found this rom:
RUU_Rhodium_S_HTC_Europe_1.86.401.0_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.17_Signed_Ship.exe.
So now i have these tools:
1.ActiveSync
2.I have to download Rhodium HardSpl
3.RUU_Rhodium_S_HTC_Europe_1.86.401.0_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.17_Signed_Ship.exe.
So would it work this for me.I mean after i download Rhodium HardSpl will I have a htc touch pro2 in English ?

Hard SPL is what will allow you to flash non-stock ROMs to our device. Once you put that on, then you will be able to flash the ROM you listed as well as any other one you find for the Rhodium.

Since we've answered you four times with information relevant to your problem, and you still aren't understanding this, I'm going to simply say that yes, this is correct if you have a GSM version. I will strongly urge you to read up on what you are doing before hand so you don't risk bricking your device.
Rhodium is the model name for the Touch Pro2. If you look under your battery, you will find a model number that says RHODxxx where xxx is a three-digit number. This is useful in telling people here which device you have, as there are GSM and CDMA versions of the device. You have to be certain of which you will flash or you may brick your device.

I have RHOD100 and as i saw in this forum it is not CDMA so it will work.
So i have first to flash rom with HardSpl and after that i have to install
RUU_Rhodium_S_HTC_Europe_1.86.401.0_Radio_Rhodiu m_4.49.25.17_Signed_Ship.exe.
I`m sorry for all these questions,but this is my first time trying something like that and i want to make sure that I will not brick my device.I won`t ask anymore for this problem.

You seem to have the order correct. I would recommend that you spend a good amount of time reading about this, though. Make sure to read through the instructions and FAQ of the Hard SPL thread before you attempt it. This will save you a lot of time if you need to ask for assistance.

i use t-mobile g1 htc
itis the first time to try install a software and i installed the hardSPL file then the radio file
i was suppose to install the radio file first but i did that mistake then the phone restarted and didn't open any more it hangs on the first screen with the sign G1 and doesn't open recovery or bootloader respond at all
can any one help me with this problem please?
NOTE : i believe i made a mistake when i made this command on telnet :
cat recovery2.img > /system/recovery.img
i used a file name recovery2.img not recovery.img so i am not sure if that is the reason i cannot access to recovery mode or what. i hope you have answers for me

Did you really flash HardSPL (10.95.3000) or DangerSPL (1.33.2005) ?
HardSPL shouldn't be any problem, because it supports the same radio versions as the standard-SPL.
If it was DangerSPL with the wrong radio, you have a brick and the only chance to recover is JTAG ...
