Hi,
I have a k-jam and I was trying to update it to the custom ROM. it hanged at 98% and the update software crashed on my PC so I had nothing to do but soft resetting the device.
Now I cant restore to the original imate ROM and when I try to go to the USB mode it gives the colored screen and goes off immediately.
Please help...
hey i have had that problem stuck for 2 days, must be stressing eh?
hold camera + voice then push reset button for 3 seconds...keep holding the cam and voice button and wait for the screen to come on..then plug in.... usb shud show on bottom left..
i had that problem....couldnt get it to boot loader but after numerious tries, it worked.
It just needed some power
Wizard was totally discharged i recharged it and restored the ROM successfully

Today my D2 decided not to work at all when switching "ON" the screen stays at the windows mobile welcome screen and refuses to continue "Freeze".
I tried soft and hard rests without success...
Anybody can help please?!!!....
Doesn't sound good.
The next thing I would try is to take the battery out for about 30 minutes, then try again with battery replaced. I had a weird issue with an old PDA where on ocassion it would refuse to turn on, and the only fix was to leave out the battery for at least 15 minutes.

Hi, though your question has nothing to do with any kind of development, , maybe you should be posting in general section, this is a wild guess, the answer to your question is easy, enter bootloader and flash the oficial rom suited for your device.
If this doesn´t work send it to your distributor.

By pressing volume down + the red soft reset button will take you to the bootloader.
The Topaz is yours, what language is it??

I went to the bootloader by pressing volume down + ON/OFF button. However, at the bottom of the screen it says (Serial)...
My Topaz language or original ROM is (RUU_Topaz_HTC_WWE_1.39.405.2_Radio_Signed_Topaz_61.20t.25.10_3.43.25.19_Ship).
volume down + the red soft reset button will take you to the bootloader.
Download the rom and flash it in bootloader, (tricolour screen).

I already went to the bootloader (tricolour screen) and I have a copy of the rom (at my desktop). The point here (correct me if I'm wrong) to flash it in the bootloader by doing these:
1- Go to bootloader....
2- Connect D2 to my PC through USB cable...
3- Then run the downloaded ROM...
Sorry but I'm still new to PPC....
Flashed the origial ROM and problem solved.

I installed Diamond CDMA Windows 6.5 ROM on my Diamond. Now it won't boot, but hangs on the "Touch Diamond" screen. How do I flash it with a new ROM without putting the device into Active Sync mode?
Solved.
I entered the boot screen by pressing volume down and the power button simultaneously. Then I was able to install a new ROM.
I just flashed my HTC touch diamond with ROM: EnergyROM_28011_DIAMOND_24.Dec.2009_Standard_Sense2.1
And it won't boot into WM, when I turn it on it says "Touch Diamond" in white letters with black background for about 20 seconds or so then it vibrates and repeats the same thing again. I have no idea what to do.. I have flashed my HTC about 10 times and this has never happened. I can't access it at all.. my computer will not recognize the device and the RUU can't connect to it either so I can't reflash it........... any ideas? Any help is MUCH appreciated
Hard Reset !!
You should go into bootloader mode to flash another rom (vol down + power on).
If its not solved by hard resetting/reflashing you should MTTY.
Hard reset with MTTY and reflash!
Hi,
After my first update ever my phone crashes!
First I installed X1_hardspl succesfully.
Then I installed Christian_NL_5419_Full.
Then the phone reboots succesfully. It installed the customized items automatically. Then it reboots again. You see the Xperia logo and then the screen turns into black!
How can I fix it? Please help me!

Reflash your ROM. Get to tricoloured screen by holding the camera button down and press power button. Hold both buttons down until you see tricoloured screen. Connect usb and flash if using RUU.
maybe hard reset is sufficient, though w/o sd card or if there's an option w/o auto instll of customziation
did you check christian's thread up front for reports of similar experiences? rom specific questions are best asked in the specific rom thread, there's where all feedback accumulates- good and bad...
