using zImage 3-19-2010 on Mym's 3-16-2010 image and 3-20-2010 theme that includes audio manager. no more pauses.

Have you had any lockups/reboots while streaming?

no. but the sound stops after a few minutes. had to restart BT.
on standby it drains the battery.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but its been like that for a few weeks already. I've been streaming my audio to this bluetooth speaker set I have and it works great until it randomly crashes, then I need to restart phone. Is there something to the new update that I'm missing?

I see. I didn't know about that. It hasn't crash on me yet. Don't know what's new on that 3/19/2010 zImage.

Alright, well either way I just flashed the 3-22 nbh file, and put the NEXUS theme on to see if there are any noticeable improvements with BT not crashing.

Mine still drops off / won't connect at times. Been playing without pauses for a while though.

With the 240X320 RLS 4 and NBH from 22-03 my BT won't turn on (with the 4000000) in the sysinit.rc line.

Have you tried installing Myn's latest release with a clean data.img ?
I experienced that issue before, seems to be somethign funky in the sysinit.rc. More work to troubleshoot than to just clean install

Noob question:
Im running the MYN's from the SD running haret... and i noticed the BT is indeed cutting off after 3 mins... in order to fix it, should I just get the latest zimage on 3-22-2010, rename it to zimage and paste it in the andboot folder where i extracted Myn's 3-16 release?
WHat does the Theme has to do with the BT? My installation i made was just extract the Myn's RLS 4 and place all files in a andboot folder off my SD. Then in winMo ran the haret

Calls not Coming in - Eclair

Not sure what exactly could be causing my issue.. I will point out it's probably not build related as I have been running Incubuses SuperE Cyanogenmod Eclair Beta 1 for a while and have had no call related issues.
Today I installed the superE beta 2, played around with it, then saw that Myn had released a new version of Eclair, so since I'm bored at work I figured I'd give it a try and see which I liked better.
I didn't try to make or receive a call after putting the beta 2 on there, so I don't know if it was working then or not.
My question is, could it possibly be related to some of the other files in the andboot folder?
Exact Install Steps:
replaced old androidinstall.tar with super E beta 2
rebooted phone, installed system on NAND, data on NAND, did not clear data
played around
replaced old andboot folder with the one provided in with Myn's most recent RLS1
rebooted phone, installed system on NAND, data on NAND, did no clear data
Any help or insight would be appreciated.
I have a bit more info that might be helpful.. My calls are showing in the call log as missed calls, but the phone never alerts me that there is a call coming in. I am now able to make phone calls just fine.
I've noticed that if I have ring vibrate turned on, it takes a longer time for the phone to ring. Try turning that off if it's on.
Incubus26jc also just released beta3 of superE with the Phone Prioritizer script. That seems to have helped me with ringer lag on my Vogue too.
It could be due to silly mistake. Make sure your ringtone is not set as silent. It happened to me a while back.
but even if the ringtone was set to silent, wouldn't the message come up on the screen saying I was getting an incoming call?
I'm about to try the vibrate thing and see if it works.. I'm running the beta 3 of the super E build right now.
didn't fix it..
Here's some extra info that may help.. My network status icon in the notification bar is 3G. When I call from another phone, I notice it changes to E for a second, and this is when the voice mail picks up. It then goes back to 3G after a second.
Effin weird.. I might try reburning the ROM and start with a fresh install.
well that fixed it. I reburned the latest eclair image and flashed Myn's most recent release and all is working..
Very odd.
CriMson - care to elaborate the steps you followed on the flashing and reinstall?
I'm having the same issue, but while running Donut. I believe I did a reinstall to the SD card as well and still had no luck getting calls to the phone.

Freezing all the Time...

I've been using Incubus26Jc's Froyo v. 12 and My Vogue has been freezing over and over all the time. Seems not to be app specific, and seems to happen when its charging and when its on battery.
Any chance I've got a setting wrong? My guess is that my phone is dieing. Any advice?
I've had this problem on the earlier versions, but now on release 12, I have only had 2 freezes... Sometimes you just have to let the phone sit. I guess it kinda gets overwhelmed and needs a little rest :/
Is my situation the same? I'm running SagaROM Froyo Ultralite [v1.2.1, 7/28/10] and every time the screen goes to sleep and goes into lock mode, it reboots. What can I do to fix this? Please & thank you!

Try going back to RLS10.5 with the 15-07-2010 version of Zimage. That eliminated the freezes for me. And it seems a lot faster.

Thanks @richardk3 ... I have the NBH, but I didn't save the 10.5 install file. Anyone have a link?
Update: Searching the forum didn't find it but a Google Search did: http://www.mediafire.com/?ond2tmmzolggtmm
If you search the main Froyo thread, incubus put up a link to the archive of recent releases.
I went back to RLS10.5 and the 7/15 zImage per richardk3's suggestion. At first I did notice less freezing and overall better performance. But then I made a long call (over 5 min) with BT headset and the phone became unresponsive. BT and the call were still working fine, but the phone was unresponsive and had to be reset at the end of the call.
This is pretty consistent across all builds in Eclair and Froyo. I've reached the point where I basically accept that this is always going to happen and I'll need to reboot. It's worth the trade-off, though, since this build is so amazing and Android is so much better than WinMo.
Johndixon, if you're running from nbh then you may need to clear the dalvik cache from the boot screen menu. Worked for me when the freezes came fast and furious.

I'm having the exact same problem... always becomes unresponsive at the end of the call when using Bluetooth. I've tried combinations of RLS10.5 and RLS12, and a couple of zImages.
Other than this, it's super fast and stable... But it would be great to figure out what is causing the freezing.

First usable android on X1

Im sorry for openening a new topic. But fell free to remove it.
I havent noticed that anyone here wrote about
Froyo FRG83 - Android 2.2.1 Beta-Release [06-11-2010] from neopeek
it needs ext2 partition
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FD0Y3LPR
You can find more info on this link
http://www.neopeek.com/en/forum/Son...o-FRG83---Android-221-Beta-Release-05-11-2010
I used it today for a long time and everything was so fast and i had no problems accept for:
-sometimes it will and sometimes it wont charge
-in market when downloading app i have to cancel and click download again in order for download to start.
-other small issues like battery status.
I had apsolutely no crash. I made and recieved 12 calls today and 3 sms without any problems. Havent tested battery life but it seems OK. Market works, Wifi,...etc.
its uses sp3dev zImage.
This is first port of android that is accually usable for everyday work. I used it all day without any major problem.
We are very close to fully working version. Thanks to everyone.
You should definitly try it if you have not.
thanks!!!!

What makes that build more usable than previous ones?
haven't tested it yet, but most other neopeek's buils are fast ans have no problems except little ones you are mentioning in first post.
How is battery life in that one?
Lets put it out this way. I tried them all and this one is best so far.
Battery drain is slow becouse it uses sp3dev files i think. Havent still tested full battery life time but i think its great. Will test it later.
Its been on all day and no restart, no crash, no lag, no slowdown.
I made and recived 16 calls and 5 sms till now without any problems.
Most of other ports do eventually freeze, restart, crash or slowdown. But this one still works perfectly. In combination with good battery time its best port so far.
So far we had ports with stability but bad battery time.
And lately we had ports with good battery time but other stuff was not good.
This one combines it all (good stuff)
Wifi works, headphones work, calls work, its very fast.
Sometimes you have to wait minute till download from market starts.
There are other small issues. I think bluetooth dont work.
But for me this is so far most usable ROM.
P.S. I installed Launcher Pro.
The issue with market (to need to cancell download and start again) is something usual on all devices so don't worry about that.
Battery consumption is about 9-10% per hour with 3G network and little usage.
So we have about 10-11 hours of use with this ROM.
Hmm... I tried to install it following this tut : http://www.neopeek.com/en/forum/Que...-tosWheresWhens---All-right-here!?lang=en#525
But... it seems that INSTALL.exe install everything in a folder, not in my ext2 partition ... oO
Did u use this way to install it ? denyboy
EDIT : Ok , ext2 wasn't set as primary ..
couldn't connect Wifi (wifi connected but doesnt find my accespoint :/) + cant share connection everything else seems ok

have you tried turning on Wifi in Windows Mobile before starting haret.exe
I got it working. So, if I have to reboot the device, I have to get into WinMo first and run Haret everytime?

-wallpapers dosen't fit, the image i crop form the wallpaper si more smaller than the screen resolution
is good at:
-battery life time via 3g or wifi
-dosen't heat the battery
-neocron test 18.7 fps (faster the Xperia-Xdandroid-X1 4.11 v2)
-very smooth animations
-browsing is fast
-market is working
-media player works greate (untill now)
-has file explorer
ill keep on testing

Nexus 6 Call Echo

When I call someone on 7.1.1 (Lineage), when they talk they can hear themselves as they talk like a perfect echo. I also noticed that when I make a call, the ringer sound has a bunch of static and almost sounds like it's dropping out until the person answers. There was a patch on January 23rd meant to fix the big "speakerphone echo" bug but I keep reading stuff that makes it sound like this bug was related to actually using the phone in speaker mode during a call, so you don't have to hold it to your ear. The issue I'm having happens during a normal call.
I'm on the latest official Lineage nightly and this issue still exists, even though it was supposedly fixed (unless I'm understanding what people are talking about wrong). It's incredibly annoying and I've even confirmed that the lines in "mixer_paths.xml" that needed to added were there and they are. Does anyone else have this issue or know a work around?

I'm not on lineage, I'm on stock lite and I've noticed the same thing after flashing coolexe's pixel mod after updating the ROM, which I usually do all in one session. What I've found is that something is leaving a file called ftm.mixer_paths.default.xml in system/etc. It has the right run permissions so I think it's defaulting to that regardless of what mixer_path file I've replaced. If I delete that default file, everything sounds/works like it should.

Only other thing I can suggest is to grab an older ROM.zip, extract the mixer_paths.XML, and copy that into system/etc. Set permissions to 0644, reboot and check it.
Even if you can get a cm 14.1 ROM zip.from December, that should work.

Once you have it, just grab the file and push it to system/etc. No need to redo the whole ROM unless it doesn't work.

Did this fix work?

some games audio not working

Hey guys/girls, I was just curious has anyone else ran into this issue. Some games (not all) the audio is completely shut off for. System sounds work but any for the game doesn't work. I'm currently on the rooted rom in our section so not sure if that's the case or if anyone else has ran into this situation and/or has found a fix.

Try removing the dual audio mod.
Go to /system/etc/mixer_paths_tavil.xml
name it mixer_paths_tavil.xml.bak2
then take the mixer_paths_tavil.xml.bak and remove just the .bak extension and reboot.
This flips off the dual speaker mod. Also if you have Viper setup and your audio tune is beyond what the app allows it could cause the audio to not work.
Make sure you have checked by turning off viper completely and re-testing.
Yeah I reinstalled your room after trial and error and without messing with viper it still happened so currently I'm back on stock, when I root again I'll try the audio file swap you mentioned, thank you
