Hi,
Is there is possible way to setup a CDMA network on a Kaiser ?
I saw this registry key on MSDN site
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone]
"Features"=dword:0002B820 // CDMA
"Features"=dword:0206C7D8 // GSM
Thanx
Ganesh
Not possible. The radio technology the kaiser uses is GSM. CDMA is a completely different technology.

It's not what you think it is. That should be a generic OS registry entry since the OS supports all types of phone networks.
However, the Kaiser only supports the old GSM and the new W-CDMA (Wikipedia it) aka 3G aka UMTS.

Hello, I just received my new HTC Shift, CDMA version, 1GB RAM
I also have a Sprint Mogul, and I make it work in Mexico with the only CDMA carrier, Iusacell. I configured it with the EPST.
I supose that I can do the same with the Shift, could someona provide me ROM dumps for the CDMA version? (If exiists)
I'm reading all the posts to get all the information need it to customize my HTC Shift
Is it possible to change the PRL File and the network settings? I did it with the Mogul
best regards
I also need a ROM dump for a CDMA shift.
I can tell you I had MAJOR issues getting my EVDO working with Sprint USA, they had to do some special configurations on the sprint side to get the data provisioned.
I would imagine that the PRL should be easily modified.

Does anybody knows is this fone is working on GSM networks...?
Thanks
Hi ,
No Sprint is CDMA operator and this mobile is only work in CDMA networks.
Is it possible to reprogram a Tmobile G1 to use Verizion? If so can someone point me in the direction of where I can find the firmware/procedure for reprogramming. I got the phone for free just to try this so there is no loss if it gets bricked, I'm willing to try anything that might work. Thanks
Short Answer: No, not possible.
Long Answer: T-Mobile is a GSM network (uses a SIM card) while Verizon is a CDMA network (does not uses a SIM Card). Since the G1 is on a GSM network, you will not be able to get any signal from Verizon.
Just buy a droid or a droid incredible if you want an android phone on Verizon.
Hello,
I have an htc incredible s for flashing; but it's an cdma device (verizon); when I'm configuring it I have an error message "Unable to activate you phone. You may need to find an area with better coverage (near a window, or outside). Please try again or call custom service for more assistance."
We haven't cdma technology in my country, then I want to know if I can use it as gsm device or no ?
Thank's
Of course not, it's a different technology, and as far as I know it doesn't have a sim card slot. Try to google it.

you mean find a solution on google or something else?
You will not find a solution to use CDMA for GSM it's mission impossible.
You don't have a SIM card slot so you can't use GSM SIM card.
By google it I meant to find difference between CDMA and GSM to understand your mission imposible.
