i tried booting my topaz to android using this guide:

when i load the haret.exe my phone display only half of the screen and freezes.
i tried also booting to ubunu using this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=640785
but the phone freezes while in the black boot screen with linux pinguin on top.
after reading i found that TOPA100 model of the Topaz can't boot to any linux based system.
is this true?
did someone managed to boot?

hey, i did manage to boot the rhodium android package. havent messed with it at all but you might try starting with that setup.
used project android 2.1 sense. changed startup txt

I have upgraded my phone to wm 6.5, the phone used to finish boot up completely. Now all it does is go to the green windows screen and then go dark. I have tried a hard reset and I would like to flash another rom into it but my computer will not see the phone in this state.
maybe you just have to wait, it takes a while to complete first boot..
I know the first boot can take awhile, but I am pretty sure 2 weeks is to long LOL
does anyone have an idea how to unbrick the phone
try to install a new rom
first try with 6.1 normal version , and if it does not help , try to install 6.0

When i boot my x1 and after boot when i shut it down the there is not any more android.
There is now Windows mobile.
Does a setting that change that it automaticly android start ?

Android is not booting from nand but rather from the sd card with the help of haret. You have to go boot it again or use a software for dual booting, go check then end of the first post of my thread.
I'm able to flash this to any rom but it just keeps getting stuck at the htc splash screen. I tried all stock tmob roms and DeepShining's rom and always the same, hung at the splash. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I was able to enter boot loader mode and flash to the appropriate bl depending on upon the rom. Even when I ran the dft xspl install and launch exe's and then loaded DeepShining rom it hung on the DS splash screen.
Update:
Turned out to be a hardware problem. Tore the phone apart and it seems the camera button was the problem.
Lol...looks like you figured it out before I could suggest that, it seems to be a problem with the hd7 camera button getting stuck and not allowing the rom flash to complete. Glad you figured it out though!

i tried to install android on my xperia x1 but some thing went wrong
now when i start my mobile a black screen appear with a blue writing (i think this is fastboot)
I tried to boot a boot.img and now a second black screen with white writing appears (I think this is adb)
when i try to hspl my device (power and volume down) it says (spl 0.72.0000)
I cant go back for a wm rom nor install android rom
I tried many wm rom but nothing is working
i don't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????

first I tried to do hspl 0.78 .... I did it and it was a success
but I couldn't complete everything and android won't run on my mobile
when i power it on a black screen with blue writing appears at first
then i tried to boot an img using fast boot and a new black screen with white writing appears but nothing else
then I give up and I want to get WM back
I tried to go back to the stack spl 0.72 and it was ok but my phone won't run WM it keeps show a black screen with withe writing and stop
when I try to enter boot loader and flash a new rom using sd card (formatting my SD with fat32 and put a rom named kovsimg.nbh on it) it stuck on loading and nothing else
and even when i try to flash a new room using KovskyAdvancedRUU it stop at 0% and won't continue
now i don't have any OS not WM and not Android
I even can't change to hspl like 0.78 or 0.52

when the black screen with white writing appears I connected the phone to the pc and run (adb shell)

i just flashed my Teclast X98 Air 3g (C8J7) to Dualboot.
First I installed Android 5.0, then Windows 10.
When I now try to boot Android the screen stays black (with minimal backlight) and nothing further happens.
In one faq here I read that tis can be solved with this (http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....jpg?key=OAWmMEu5g-jbyzPoNBpCDA&ts=1445091318) bios entry, but it still doesn't work.
After reinstalling Android I was able to start Android again but now Windows can't be started (error 0x00000f).
I upgraded the bios to v2.02 and tried to reinstall both OS several times but the errors are still the same.
Does somebody has an idea how to fix this?
