Looks like Hulu was release for a few devices today.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/22/hulu-plus-for-android-is-available-now-if-you-can-install-it/
Is there anyone that can post the APK so we can try it and see if it will work? Since the Nexus S is one of the devices listed.
Thanks.
Edit: Found it here

Post here if you get it to work on the Captivate.
Order and Choos version 1.0.3 is now officially supported for Xoom and A500. However, I'm an Asus TF101 owner (sucks to be me) and cannot DL from market. Keen to hear from anyone how the new version stacks up with official honeycomb support.
It still says game is not compatible with your device. The update notes show support but I can't get it to download. Has anyone else been successful?
It also shows support on gameloft and is for sale $4.99. They also don't recognize my purchase order # from Android Market.

Did you pay for it on your device and try to download it? I have an unrooted wifi xoom that I was able to download and start playing with.
In case you still dont have it working....I just bought my xoom today and was getting the same error when trying to open the game. I called gameloft and they emailed me a download link. Went to my downloads in astro and installed it from there. Seems to be working now.. Its currently downloading the extra 677.4 MB but it has opened further so far than it ever has. If it ends up with the same error I'll let you know, if it works I'll be busy playing lol good luck.

Hey all,
So I just turned on the Swype keyboard on my One the other day and I'm loving it so far (came from a qwerty phone previously). However, I noticed that only in the email app (Where I am getting work email via MS Exchange), the auto-capitalization and auto-spacing in between words does not exist. I have to manually capitalize the first word in every sentence as well as type in spaces in between each word. Nowhere else on the phone do I have to do that. Anybody else experiencing this? Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?
I'd say this is effecting everyone. Same issue on the HTC EVO 4G LTE Sense 5 Mod.
Yup, noticed this as well.
Cool, thanks. I guess it's good it's not just me, but now we just have to hope HTC figures it out
If you don't mind spending a buck ($.99), version 1.5.0.15186 available in the Play Store fixes the issue. Although I would think an update from HTC would be imminent to fix this free of charge.

I am on version 1.5.3.15724 of Swype from the Play store and also have this issue. This is the newest paid version I believe. It's also strange that from withing the email app it highlights every word after entering it via swype. It's a but htc needs to fix. For now I guess I can just hit space after every word.

UPDATE. I fixed it. I didn't have the purchased version (Swype + Dragon) selected. I switched to that and now its working. Swype + Dragon version 1.5.3.15724 in the Play Store $.99.

I can confirm. Just bought the $0.99 paid version, upgraded from Swype Beta. Now auto-space and auto-capitalise works perfectly. It still does highlight/select each word you type, but that doesn't seem to upset how Swype works.
So relieved since I use Swype all the time. I have tried other keyboards, even permanently switched to others (and paid for the full apps) but each time I go back to Swype it just works better and more efficiently.
BTW - my current paid version installed today sits at 1.5.6.16934
Also, my handset is the unbranded version running stock 1.29.707.16
Why is this not available from Amazon?
This sucks being forced to buy it from the Play Store. I trust Amazon with my credit card #, but Google knows everything else about me so I'm not giving them my credit card too. I wonder how much Google is paying Swype on the side.
Hi everyone,
Hyundai just released an update that adds Android Auto to their 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I own one but unfortunately the download is not available outside the US
I was hoping that maybe a fellow XDA member could help me out?
PM me or email me or whatever you feel like if you can help me out, please
Anybody? Maybe someone knows a dealer or simply an owner? A lot of guys in Canada and Europe are hoping for your help, guys and girls :fingers-crossed:
Unfortunately, I'm not sure it could work. First of all, the patch checks the existing firmware version and it won't apply unless it starts with ST.LF.USA.
See this screenshot:
http://www.hyundai-forums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=283305
I haven't seen the files, but apparently its possible to bypass the check by editing some files.
See this post:
http://www.hyundai-forums.com/showpost.php?p=3773769&postcount=653
Unfortunately, it bricks the head unit. Maybe it's possible to hack the update to bypass this check too, but we have to see the files and what the update does.
Here is the installer for the sonata with nav.
http://www.hyundai-forums.com/lf-20...5-sonata-carplay-update-tool.html#post4352129
It also includes the maps. I can't download it because it's an app that downloads directly to a sd card, but if somebody could download it and upload it to google drive, I would really like to be able to take a look at the files.
Thank you very much
Do you by any chance know of a download for the 2017 Santa Fe (Sport)?
I am not sure if the bigger issue won't be the cars' different hardware.
But the 2017 Santa Fe Sport seems to be the same in the US, Canada and Europe. So that might give us a really good chance at making it work
So far the Santa Fe owners have, however, not been very forthcoming
Hi
I own the VF which is European i40 and downloaded the files for LF. It is 13Gb update including maps. The update itself fits a lot of hyundai/kia cars, but there are too much config files to change.
Will put the update for LF to google drive later today.

here is the 160415 update for LF - _https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwcapZ0RTW2pRWc0VW1PU1hUR00
I removed 10 gig /Data folder which contain maps
the device seems to be rooted already see images here _https://yadi.sk/d/SVsWUkKEsRCWw
this is ST.PS (kia soul) version of the device
Its my understanding the update is coded to the VIN in some way via the download in the MyHyundai site.
some kia models have the same head unit, you can go and buy maps update on sd card and you'll get AA along with new maps. So I dont think its vin coded
ns100,
Thanks for the files. Is this the update that I posted? And did you manage to install it on your car? Also, where did you get all this info about the headunit?
stinger6667, yes, I used mac os app to download the files to sd card. I did not install it, I want first to get an update for another kia/hyundai car to compare what changes.
if you check the update.ini file you'll see which hyundai/kia models it can de installed at. all the info I've got on Russian kia soul and kia sorento prime forums
the software changelog for this headunit can be found here - _bluemembers.hyundai.com/oc/hmgt/navi/hmgt_navi_guide.jsp?screenNm=hmgt_navi_guide its Korean but google translate colud help
there is an update worth $150 for some kia models adding android auto which comes with the latest map update. If someone could upload the contents of /update folder form sd card there will be an option to build an update for adding android auto for any kia/hyundai with this headunit
found on kia soul forum, this is the hardware part (build.prop in system.img)
ro.product.device=imx53_ard
ro.product.board=ARD
ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi-v7a
ro.product.cpu.abi2=armeabi

Alright, well this is way beyond my paygrade, I'm just a web dev. Also, I made a mistake. The update I linked for the sonata only adds Carplay. What we need is the Genesis 2015/2016 or Tuscon 2016 update. They add both Android auto and Carplay.
the canadian update looks interesting as it adds the features to older models as well

can I download it somewhere?
Unfortunately not because it costs $300. Seems to be coming directly from the software company hired by Hyundai to program their software. And rather than making it available to their costumers as the US did, the Canadian Hyundai people have not provided it free of charge.
I don't know if someone bought it and shared it somewhere. But I have not really looked that hard yet.
I think they charge $$$ for the map update, headunit software update should be free. There is only one folder /update needed form the sd card
i sould need to google it, but the software is not free. there was an article by a blogger who is active on hyundai-forums.com
canadian users do not get it for free. maybe this will change or did change just now, but the last i read it was not for free.

Will this work for Canadian Sonata 2015? or does anyone if ver 10 from mapnsoft has it, coz the site only says Elantra and Tuscon
I'm posting this here because this is really only relevant to those of us who have flashed custom roms.
Like many of us, I was interested in flashing because I didn't like the limitations of the FireOS, especially stuck on Android 4.0. Sadly, the CM13 launcher doesn't pass "the wife test" the way the original FireOS Carousel did.
Turns out some people in my family actually enjoy using the Kindle as a... you know, Kindle. Yes, I'll be installing Amazon's apps so we don't lose access to that, but is there any way to get a launcher similar to the Carousel? Or a way to get the Carousel launcher apk (would that even work)? That way we can have our cake and eat it too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't isn't that a thread about putting the entire FireOS back on and wipe out the newer version of Android I'm running now? That's not what I want to do. My wife likes the Carousel UI for browsing the latest books and videos, but we otherwise hate the browser, softkeys (back, home, menu and search somehow look so dorky and out of place compared to the modern 3 shape setup), and inability to install most apps which require kitkat or later.
In other words, I'm happy I'm not running FireOS anymore. The only thing I liked about it was the Carousel launcher. I'd love to get the original launcher back if that's somehow possible, along with its ability to tap into my Amazon account and offer suggestions based on our habits. But I recognize that its probably more likely I'll manage to get an alternative launcher than port the original.

You can flash Gapps, root it. So you can have "carousel" you want. But still be able to I stall play store, etc... There is another i found on a different forum that you may be looking for. It's a hybrid FireOS and aosp android....I'll have to find it. I will when I'm off work.

Oh, interesting!
Update: I had actually read about Kinology, but I think it is still based on ICS (4.0). A bunch of apps I'm trying to install keep throwing parse errors, which I've gathered is due to the way later versions of Android handled APKs versus earlier ones. Older versions of things have sideloaded fine, but for example, the last few releases of Kodi require at leat Kitkat (4.4), and keep throwing errors upon installation. I'm afraid Kinology will have the same issue since it is so old!
