VPN Configuration Help

Well I've been trying to set up the VPN from my uni for a while, but I've never had any luck, so here I am. The uni gives settings to put in the iPhone:
Add VPN Configuration, IPSEC mode.
Server: “vpn.usyd.edu.au”, Account: Unikey login name, Group Name: “wireless”, Secret: “jacaranda”
Now when I try to add IPSec on my G1, it asks either for a pre-shared key or certificate, neither of which I have. And none of the IPSec options on my G1 allow me to put in an account or group name... Any ideas?
Any help appreciated!

WiFi - enterprise access with the user id password

Hello all,
I am new to android and ics, wanted to know if there is a way to configure Advanced features like username and password as our office WiFi has domain authentication with proxy configuration.
Appreciate any inputs.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I'm not sure about domain auth, however you can manually set the proxy / username / password / security type (WEP/WPA/WPA-PSK) per access point in ICS.
I don't think I was able to see any options to add user ID and password, it asks for the pass-phrase for the WEP, then it has advanced settings for proxy, but haven't seen an option to provide user ID and password.

[Q] Set up to access internet via Consumer Cellular

I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 cell phone which uses Windows 8 and is running on Consumer Cellular.
I can access the internet via Wi-Fi but not otherwise.
See the attachment for the info that Consumer Cellular provides:
Here is the info that the 1020 needs:
mms apn
APN _________________________________
User name ____________________________
Password _____________________________
WAP gateway (URL) _____________________
WAP gateway port _______________________
MMSC (URL) ___________________________
MMSC port _____________________________
Maximum MMS size ______________________
mms apn
APN __________________________________
User name _____________________________
Password ______________________________
Proxy server (URL) _______________________
Proxy port ______________________________
What are my replies to the questions that the 1020 is asking?.
APN (Access Point Name) is att.mvno for both Internet and MMS.
There is no username or password required.
The MMS (but not the general Internet data) requires a proxy server: proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com, port 80.
You really should just use Nokia's network setup app if you can, though.
That worked!

Click to collapse
It is working now.
Thanks!!!
