you can get the update from here
https://android.clients.google.com/updates/passion/signed-passion-ERE27-from-ERD79.a487b405.zip
1. Connect your Nexus One with USB cable and mount
2. Rename signed-passion-ERE27-from-ERD79.a487b405.zip to update.zip then copy it to phone
3. Shutdown your Nexus One and reboot into fastboot mode (press track ball+power)
4. Now in your nexus one menu select Bootloader then press power button
7. Wait until you see android logo with caution mark !
8. Enter to recovery menu by hold power button + volume up
7. Use track-ball scroll to ‘apply sdcard:update.zip’ and press track-ball
8. Wait until the update process complete then in menu select reboot (you must select from menu)
try that

this method is perfectly fine and wont void your warranty. you will also receive future updates. if you want to go back to stock 2.1, i believe you will have to do a full wipe in bootloader but i am not sure of that (i know it is possible though)

Atrix OTA Update from 1.26 to 1.57 [AT&T Only]

For those of us that do not like to wait or do not want to log in via Motoblur to download.
http://www.multiupload.com/J7DGAWCUYN
1.) Hold volume down to get boot menu
2.) Then press volume down until you see Android Recovery
3.) Press volume up to select.
4.) Once you see the Android logo, click the on the screen just above the search button.
Use volume up and down to navigate, and press the screen above the menu key to select. Should be self explanatory from here. Just make sure you copy the update.zip to the root of your SD Card. Enjoy!
**Sorry, but I guess I should have specified that this is for the AT&T branded Atrix Only.

No!!!!... do not flash this on the bell atrix its the ATT OTA update
And tech the firmware version alone 1.2.6 should tell you that its not the bell firmware to begin with...
Thank you sir very helpful to keep on my drive instead of hoping to have wifi when I may need it.

Worked perfectly. Takes a little while. But not insanely long. Only a panicky is the damn thing working long.

Mirror.
Sorry to bring this back up but, since it is in the form of update.zip, is it possible to flash via CWM recovery instead of the normal recovery?
EDIT: keep getting failed whether do it with stock recovery or clockworks.

You are lucky.Don't update rooted phone via OTA.I received same update and I installed it without thinking. After that while rebooting it stuck in fastboot/bootloader mode.I had to wipe my device completely in order to make it boot.I think to update your phone you'll have to unroot your phone, relock bootloader and then update

phone should boot to APfastboot mode use volume down scroll to recovery and press volume up (NOT power) - logo then black screen and finally fallen android.
now hold POWER button and quickly tap volume up - should be in Android system recovery <3e>
use volume down factory reset- this totally wipes phone - takes a while - then reboot system now
if no better must be corrupted download try to re download again or see my signature (blue) and re install LXB22.99-16 this will wipe phone to as new and you should get update again

pratchaya, when you start your N6, do you see at the bottom of the screen a picture of a padlock with the lock open on one side?
1. Go here, https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
2. Download this, https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/shamu-nbd90z-factory-92e7bb05.zip
3. Power off phone, hold down power+volume down, boot into bootloader
4. Extract contents of zip to your computer
5. Flash fresh install of Android on your phone
Actually do this instead now that i've thought about it.
1. Go here, http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
2. Download the latest version of Nexus Root Toolkit (v2.1.9 as of writing this)
3. Install onto your PC
4. Use NRT to Flash Stock + Unroot
I use NRT all the time when wanting to flash beta images from Google. Never had an issue with it.

Maybe i don't know this just because my bootloader has been unlocked since the day i got my phone.
But i would imagine that google's STOCK image would be flashable, even with a locked bootloader...
But if it's not, then that sucks.
But NRT has the option to Root+Recovery from the fastboot/bootloader...But once again, not sure if you need to be bootloader unlocked before that will work.
I guess you have nothing to lose trying and seeing what happens.
If he holds down the three button salute, it will take him to the bootloader where he can run fastboot OEM unlock to unlock his device then flash just as long he has unlockable in developers settings checked.

Hi, I can't see any picture except these photos.
Well, that's puzzling. I've just restarted my N6 to be sure of my facts, and there is clearly a screen before the four dancing icons you show in your first picture. The very first thing that the phone shows on boot is a pure black screen with "Google" in big white letters in the centre, with (on my unlocked phone) the picture of an unlocked padlock at the bottom.
Are you saying that you don't see this?
=============
And while we wait for the answer to the question above, please try this:
- Power off the Nexus 6 completely.
- Next, press and hold Volume Down, Volume Up and Power simultaneously – don’t release the buttons until Fastboot Mode menu appears.
Note that this is not what you've already tried - this should get you into Bootloader mode, whereas you described the Recovery procedure in your first post. Does this procedure get you any screen? If so, please describe what you see.
(Further edit: just noticed that biggiesmalls657 suggested this on the first page, but I think that pratchaya appears too inexperienced to know what you suggested).

You guys are incorrect
This isn't possible unless the ROM starts and he can check OEM unlock in the developer options
And he can flash the OTA file with a locked bootloader but he has to have a working recovery
Have you tried a Hard Factory Reset?

I just said that!
Edit: Did you notice force closes before all this happened? Lots of force closes when doing a factory data reset sometimes means it's hardware with the internal storage. If you can't boot into Android to check OEM unlock button and fastboot doesn't allow you to flash while locked then I am not sure then.

Actually I try this method at day one that my nexus dead.

[GUIDE] Downgrade from OFFICIAL Oreo to Nougat

-Just download any zip OTA from December and before that, in my case I used this: https://yadi.sk/d/jfyLmpFH3Qomg8
-Put in on top of your sdcard and reboot to recovery
Turn off your phone. Charge it. Hold Vol up and Power for about 10 seconds. At No command screen briefly press Vol Up and Power again

Click to collapse
-Flash that zip file you just downloaded. At some points it will say "Installation aborted"
-Congratulations! Now you are ready to reflash your phone with any Nougat nb0 rom as your sbl1 and aboot is downgraded
-Power off your phone and plug out. Open OST LA 6.0.4, load your rom and then proceed to flash it
-Links go here: https://mega.nz/#F!1ENgnThL!FyL9uYCC3Dq-16elThKAPg
-Open OST LA after patching with coressponding OnlineUpdateTool.exe, Next, select your nb0 rom, plug in your now turned off phone, Next
-Go have some coffee as it takes you for about 5 minutes
-As your phone boots up, wipe data then remove FRP the way you want
DO NOT USE 6.1.2 AS IT NEED AUTHENTICATON! PATCH THE OLD VERSION WITH NEWER EXE WON'T WORK!
