FroYo LiveWallpapers? - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can we push the /lib and /*wallpaper.apks from the 2.1 Sense LWP for the Legend/Rosie Ports to the FroYo ROMs?
Also, if we can, can I just make a use Root Explorer and delete the old Lib files and paste the new ones... aka Kang the Libs? And can I just do the same for the /LWP.apks?
Gracies-qüey.

2.1 compatible FroYo apps?

I want to use the new gallery and stock keyboard from FroYo and I'm wondering if this is possible. I pushed the Gallery3DGoogle.apk and .odex to my /system/app but it isn't showing up in my app drawer. Is there some piece of code that I'm missing that my phone wouldn't recognize? Also, how can I pull the keyboard, or is there anybody that can pull the keyboard and put in a flashable zip? Any help/input would be appreciated. Thanks
I doubt any of this will work, froyo is a bigger change than 1.5 > 2.1. Frameworks are going,to be entirky different.

Here it is, I was just looking for this myself, Went through a lot.
But to use it,
1.Uninstall ADWLauncher (with Titanuim backup because removing it from the system/app folder doesn't remove some residue it still leaves.)
2.Install this Launcher2.apk with (adb install Launcher2.apk) since i dont know how to install from Titanium
3.Press home button
I found the app somewhere on the forum, its compiled from AOSP
>> Edit: All these steps are required because if not Launcher2.apk WILL FORCE CLOSE on you and you probably dont want that <<
Thanks man ill try it when I come back from work thanks a bunch

Q about pulling a keyboard from a rom

I'm wanting to get the keyboard used in HTCCLAY's super CM7 rom. I'm not entirely sure how easy this would be. I'm not familiar with dev tools or anything like that. I was wondering if this can be done easily or if at all possible someone could break it down for the keyboard.
adb pull /system/app/LatinIme.apk /where/ever/you/want/
Thanks a ton

So I have another question. I'm trying to replace my keyboard on my CM7. What is the best way to get the apk from the other rom into mine. Can I just unzip CM7 and switch out the files? When I try to install the apk it says not installed and using root explorer to override the original isn't doing anything.

[Q] Can I flash widgets through CWM?

Sometimes I switch ROM's only to find that the widgets I liked from the previous ROM are not present in the new one. Is out possible to make a flashable .zip file with the widgets I like?
Note: all the widgets I'm thinking of are from ROM's based on Captivate leaks, to be flashed on ROM's based on the same leaks (ie. Kh, kj, kk, etc.)

Just extract them from the zip file of the other roms system/app/ folder. Then copy them to the system/app folder of your current rom using root explorer or es file manager, and you should be good to go. Easy as pie.

I have tried before.
The original program in android phone is separate file -apk and odex
I tried to make odex back with apk together, but will force close, and program does not run properly.
of cause, if is custom RAM most of their program is only apk file.
If you want to backup the original apps, you need to backup the apps apk file and odex file.
Sense features and apps work only with sense ROMS... Not otherwise!! If u backup and restore in some other non sense rom... It will cause so many force closes that you won't be able to use your phone at all...
