Hello All:
I know this has been in other Bug forums, but I felt it needed its own.
I have ATT Stock FRF91
I can get MMS from ATT users and send to ATT users. But I cannot send or receive from any other carriers.
I have checked my APN settings and restored them.
Any other ideas?

I have noticed I cannot get MMS's from tmobile customers is one of our carriers blocking it for some reason? Has anyone else ran into this issue.
Thank you,
AT&T User
Is this UK or USA T-mobile? In the UK iv never had any problems, but check with their CS department and ask them to resend you the settings to your phone. Thats usually the first port of call!
I am in the USA , it just seems odd I can get MMS from ATT users but not Tmobile I can call CS but they are usually pretty dumb and tell me it's a problem with my phone.
You should at least get a notification about the mms message.
nope I don't even get a notification
Ok so I had to do a factory reset on my nexus for an unrelated reason. I am on the web2go data plan and I had my apn settings for data and another for mms. Everything was working fine until I did the reset. I entered the same settings and now I cant send or receive any mms's. Here are my settings for my mms:
Name: T-Mobile US-MMS
APN: epc.tmobile.com
APN type: mms
Everything else is set to default. This kinda sucks because some long text messages that I send or receive are converted to mms. So any help on how to get my mms back. I would feel cheated having a superphone with no mms *cough iphone <3.0 cough*
I had a stock Nexus One ROM and then flashed the Desire one... since I've flashed my MMS has not been working either... and I definitely have the correct APN settings, I've tripple checked it!
Problem solved. I forgot to put default as apn type for data access.
Above do you have the same settings above as mine? Also did you try reboot? Was mms fine before you flashed rom?
My settings are different as I'm using Vodafone NZ but I've looked up the information and I'm 100% sure I've got it correct... Are you saying your MMS didn't work until you changed the APN type for your data APN to default??
And yeah I was able to PXT and 3G when I first got my Nexus One, after I flashed the Desire ROM I lost 3G and PXT... When I set the correct APN I managed to get 3G working but still no MMS
I am having the same issues on tmobile us. I can not get the pictures to download. Before I had some settings wrong, after fixing them I do not get the error anymore, but I do not get to download the message. Anyone have any ideas or solutions yet??? I am using Modaco Aplha 19

What about sending MMS? If I try to send an MMS it just sits there loading forever and never sends (This is using handcent) and when I try to download an image it just says downloading forever... :/
I'm relieved to hear someone else has a similar issue on Alpha 19.. Means its more likely to be a software issue and not something to do with my provider !
guys - you'll probably get more help if you search/post your issue in the MoDaCo Alpha 19 thread vs. starting a new one. this - unfortunately - is a common issue with this version of the ROM. it seems to be an inconsistent issue as well; sometimes i can send/receive without a problem other times i can't.
Vodafone, Nexus One and SMS/MMS (PXT)

Given the problems experienced by Vodafone users with HTC mobiles, I have posted my solution to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901491
Okay, so I have my Hero rom aospCMod-HEROC-20110516 (Says in About Phone) and well, I'm not on the Sprint Network. I'm on Metro's network, with my current plan I get mobile data (1x, slow but works), texting, calls, ect. Only thing is I don't have MMS, I can't send or receive. Just wondering if it's my rom that isn't allowing me to sent MMS or if it's something else I need to look into.
sprint is having mms and sms issues this week its not the rom
As I said in my initial post, I'm not using Sprint's network. I have my Hero's service switched to Metro PCS, a different provider.
I just updated to the latest aosp rom from the Rom Manager (apsoCMod-HEROC-20110523)
I'll update if I have the MMS working with this rom or not.
I'm not on the Sprint network with my Hero either and I could not get MMS working without being on a Sense ROM in order to get into ##DATA# and change the ADVANCED MMSC server settings to that of my providers. However I love the ROM I'm on. It's this one:

You may not be receiving MMS because the apn list only has Sprint ones and no Metro PCS
Sent from my Hero that never dies! ;D

Hi there,
I've got an AT&T M8 on Rogers network. I've got the bootloader unlocked, rooted, S-OFF and SIM unlock. Stock AT&T ROM. The phone works fine except I cannot send MMS messages. I've tried the APN settings listed in the below thread as well as creating a separate APN just for MMS. No luck. LTE works fine (96 Mbps, wow!).
Any ideas?

you are in the wrong forum, this is the htc one M7 forum. Im on rogers too and the apn that work for me is ltemobile.apn and leave all other field blank/default. Also make sure you don't have ads blocking software installed like Adblock plus, this will also block mms (known issue of AdBlock plus)

I'd suggest you try adding MMS to the APN type. To avoid any other issues I'd make it so it reads "APN Type: default, supl, admin, hipri, mms" instead of leaving it blank.
Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately neither of them worked. Could the AT&T ROM be interfering with MMS?
Received my OnePlus 3T yesterday. Love the phone and all seems to be working well. The only problem I'm having is with MMS. I've tried two different texting programs (Chomp and Android Messages) and neither can send or receive a photo.
The APN was set up correctly by default. I also tried creating an APN with the same settings and still doesn't work. Also, my APN settings perfectly match the APN settings on my wife's Honor 8 phone -- she can send and receive MMS but I can't.
Finally, I called my carrier (Telus / Canada) and we went through the settings one at a time and confirmed all is well. They were stumped. Since it is not a Telus purchased phone, there wasn't anything else they could do.
Any thoughts on what could be causing problems with sending / receiving pictures with MMS? Anybody else having this problem?
Help is appreciated -- thanks!
