How to downgrade Qtek 9100 rom from 2.18.7.105 to 2.8.7.107?

I have upgraded from 'RUU_Prodigy_2080707_107_11310_QTEK_DAN_Test.exe' to 'RUU_Prodigy_2180705_21807105_20710_QTEK_DAN_Ship.exe'
I wish I did'nt, now I cannot use my Motorola HT820 stereo bluetooth headset.
Please carve it out in big letters how to downgrade to 'RUU_Prodigy_2080707_107_11310_QTEK_DAN_Test.exe'. (It says "ERROR [296] : UPGRADE ONLY"
Please help...

is the 2.18 rom in english?

Maybe I'm wrong here, but shouldn't you just be able to load the original test ruu again by running the exe? CID lock won't be an issue since both roms are Qtek roms.

I even have a confirmation from the vendor saying it is suposed to be this way...

Enter Bootloader, - hold the "camera" and shortly press the reset button, don't release "camera" until you can see color screen, connect USB cable, and start to flash any ROM you like
It has to be a shipped version not only a sepperate rom.
something like:'RUU_Prodigy_2080707_107_11310_QTEK_DAN_Test.exe'

with the bootloader i mean the bootscreen of youre Qtek during a reset

I've done this myself on a device that got "bricked" by a remote wipe test. Does it even check for CID lock when started in this manner?

spl is 2.18 and ipl is 2.18 don't know if this helps, anyone???

Is youre Qtek9100 cid unlocked ?

How do u check if the cid is unlocked?

Yes, I used some program to set it to '11111111', but I do not know how to validate...?

I am exactly in the same situation and can not downgrade. I want to downgrade to an earlier ROM as my companys email application for PDAs(www.good.com) do not run under the new 2.18.7.5 DAN.
I have also tried the bootloader trick without success.
Any suggestions on how to downgrade from the new ROMs?

Flashing Problem only Imge Version apears no Model ID

I have a M3000 Orange after unlocking it with Lokiwiz03 im trying to flash it but the problem is that I don’t get all the info in the rom update utility I only get this
Image Version : 1.3.1.104
I don’t get the Model ID or the Language.
After continuing with the update with the original Orange utility it goes to Boot mode and then gives me Error 294 :Invalid ID VENDER
And when flashing it with the no-id utility it gives me the same Image Version with out Model ID or Language after pressing the update button it directly gives me ERROR 238 :FILE ERROR

You have SIM unlocked your phone. This allows you to use any SIM card in it.
If you want to flash a non-Orange ROM you must CID unlock your phone. Lokiwiz03 cannot do this.
Lokiwiz02 can CID unlock if the ROM revision is low enough.

i Unlocked it with awizard Lokiwiz02 didnt do it then i flashed with the new RUU working 100 %
But for some resone i still don’t get the Model ID or the Language do you know why ?

SInce you never bothered to mention which rom you are using I assume you're flashing one of the many custom roms here. The RUU program has been modified so that it will always allow you to attempt to flash. For this to work it has to believe that you have an older rom installed on your phone.

t-mobile mda problem

have you try to reflash it with an original ROM... again...
have you remember if it is cid sim unlocked?
I recommend you to get a batt charger cause it will die without charging.

Download 'Button's Rom 1.05' and try to flash it in Bootloaders and get it load up to Working OS,after that download 'WST_4.2.2' tool and CID unlock the phone.
After CID unlock you can flash any latest custom build wm6 rom.
You can try to download and flash the official stock rom,but as it has SPL 3.08,it won;t flash and give error.So try to flash Button's Rom a couple of times,hope it'll work.

and how to use wst because phone can be detected only in boot mode

But you're welcome this is our job right here.
So first let your phone with a functional ROM then use WST 4... if the program dont works on activesync just put it on bootloader mode holding camera button then rest... wait for the RGB screen and then release the camera button.

[Q] HTC HD7 Problem ...

I have big problem... i dont know what to do with my HD7 is stuck i guess.. i dont know. i tried to load custom rom in it and it stuck on 99% i waited for it maybe 3-4 hrs and it didnt comlete. so i unplugged it and wanted to try again. but i cant. now i cant RSPL it... this message keeps poping up when i try.

SPARK, MOZART, MONDRIAN, GOLD, SCHUBERT.

Can you give more details... What step or process you were on when it got stuck, did you downgrade spl first, flash rspl or hspl before trying to flash the rom??
The SCHU1000 is a supported MID so you shouldn't of had any problems as long as you did the steps correctly

i just used DFT RSPL program and put it in rspl,then i used custom ror,tried to upload it to phone and at 99% it got stucked. i didnt downgrade anything. can you help me ?

You have to downgrade your spl first. Can you get your device into bootloader mode, phone off, hold down the volume button, power device back on while continuing to hold down the volume down button, this will bring you into bootloader mode a tri colored screen. If you can post back the information from that screen!

For those wih a MID of SCHU100, your device is supported by DFT when trying to install rspl/hspl, but you have to use revision #3 here's the link. (make sure you have downgraded you spl to 3.xxx or lower before trying to install rspl/hspl or you will damage your bootloader and brick your phone)

Hi Folks. I will be getting a HD7 tomorrow. The HD7 is from Bell network (Canada). I would like to change the display to Chinese. I am completely new at flashing rom stuff. What file do I need and what steps should I take? Also the phone is locked to Bell, how do I get it unlocked? if I flash a Asia rom, is it unlocked automatcially. Thank you!

You'll have to SIM unlock the device to get it to work on your network carrier. There are online sites that charge a small fee and will have your device SIM unlocked in a couple hours to a day. Unfortunately flashing a rom won't SIM unlock the device.
When you get the device go to - Setting - About - More - this will give you the devices Bootloader version, Firmware Revision Number, Radio version and other information such as OS version but those are the important ones you'll need.
The last 3 digits of the Firmware Revision # will give you the network carrier that it's locked to for sure. Bell Mobility = .666
Since its Bell carrier you'll need to download a Bell Mobility Pre-NoDo or NoDo rom to downgrade the SPL and use it with the goldcard method to downgrade the SPL.
To flash a rom you'll have to follow these steps -
1. Downgrade the devices SPL to at or below 3.xxx (which is required to install RSPL/HSPL)
2. Install RSPL and HSPL = Flashing XSPL
3. Flash a custom rom of your choice.
Just follow Shadow's tutorial on downgrading SPL, flashing XSPL and installing a custom rom -

Luckily yes!
You just have to download and install RSPL/HSPL while the device is in bootloader mode.
Read through the DFT XSPL post carefully to avoid damage to the device.
Then download and flash the custom rom of your choice while the device is in bootloader mode

Before you start trying to flash the device... Make sure you have ActiveSync install for windows XP or windows mobile device center for Vista/7 on your PC, this allows for the proper drivers to be installed. Then you'll want to plug the device into your PC into and let the drivers install. Once that's done put the device into bootloader mode and connect it to the PC again and it will install the Qualcomm drivers. This will change the white section in bootloader mode from "Serial" to "USB" and now your ready to start flashing!

i downloaded tried to run xspl following the link but the it says my hd7 model ID is not supported. Mine is a bell hd7 ( just unlocked using codes order online) with information as

thank you so much for the info. i will try it when i get home. the rebooting problem seems to have lessened after sleeping on it for a night. it's strange though. anyway, i will try to flash the rom to see if it elimates the problem.
yes, on the tri color screen, it shows other lines as well which i don't have a club what they are.
i will let you know what's going to happen .tks again.

it still didn't work. phone is recognized but there isn't 2.16 spl so i choose 2.10. it didn't work, then i tried 2.56 , it still didn't work. after the sussful msg, i took out the battery and then restart the phone going into tricolor state, its still spl, not rspl. any ideas, thanks ...

i just noticed that the tricolor screen has " MNG" in the spl version line. i remember the DFT software says to make sure no MNG is displayed in the message. i guess the DFT method does not work with my HTC HD7. now what i do? thank you,

It should still work even with the MNG.
I would try and run RSPL/HSPL again. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time. Run the RSPL wizard and select the 2.10, The device should stay in bootloader mode and say RSPL, if it doesn't change run the wizard again and it should work. Then while it's still in bootloader mode run the HSPL wizard and select the closest version to your RSPL 2.1
Once you install RSPL don't pull the battery or it will reset and go back to OSPL.
