I am quite new to this forum and was wondering if Sony Ericsson Xperia X1s still have cracking issues and defects in its casing to this day. I was going to purchase an SE Xperia X1 BNIB from a friend and thought it'd be better if I consulted the folks at XDA first. The production week is 09W52 if that helps.
i bought my xperia x1 about 1 year ago, and i don't have any problem in its case. The production week of my xperia is 09W34 and is made in Taiwan.
Sorry for my bad english
One self inflicted crack in the case of my 1 year 8 months old secondhand Xperia X1. Apart from this no problems at all.

Hello boys,
where to buy original white battery cover for our Xperia?
I´m from Slovak Republic, but in our coutry it has only one e-shop for 30€
I mean this on the picture
I dont think you can just buy the "back" cover for Xperia T. and even if you do find one, I wouldnt advise you taking it off and replace it with another. Not unless you really have to.
If you meant the xperia tx, then the back cover can be found on ebay for around $15 CAD
No, I mean Xperia T, not TX... I think some service for phones do it.
Sorry for my english

Get you bud to a repair centre. You have at least year warranty. And if your phone did not fallen as you stated it will be repaired under warrenty..
Do some research before you write your angry here
Complaining in here won't help you, and neither does swearing.
I see this thread is leading nowhere, so: thread closed
Hi I got my xperia z in March and on new years day the phone screen broke in my pocket with a hairline crack and became unusable. I have a very nice phone case to try stop things like that from happening. Anyways I sent my phone in to repair and they told me it would cost R3500 to fix (321.69$). I live in South Africa and when ever I try phone around to get more help they just redirect me to the next person who can not help me. What can I do any help thanks

You can repair it yourself, I think that's the best thing you can do if you don't want to pay that much.
Only downside is that there is a big chance that your phone isn't 'waterproof' anymore after you've fixed it.
Here is a tutorial:

And a place where you can buy parts:

Pretty pricey, but by far not as pricey as getting it repaired.
There are more places you can buy prats like Ebay.
Hello
Hi. I am from Romania and i bought 3 weeks ago a Sony Xperia Z3 from Germany. I have guarantee. Yesterday i saw that all the back glass from my phone is crashed. My phone didn`t fall down on the floor or something like this. I read on network many problems like this and i know that the problem is from my pocket. I don`t know that guarantee will repair this thing. What do you think?

I have seen same issue with T2 ultra in my friend's phone .. The display cracked inside pocket.... I thing that some kind of force applied to it while my frnd handling his bike with the phone inside the pocket....
And here in India it cost around Rs. 10,000 to fix it...
Hello everyone, I have a problem with a LT25i of a colleague of mine, in practice, fell and broke the display.
On the net I've seen different models, some of you have experience on this? is there any tutorial to disassemble and reassemble everything?
If you have any suggestions on where to take and what I'd be grateful.
too expensive imo... i would just buy a 2G dumbphone and save up to buy a new phone altogether... that is unless your friend is a diehard Xperia V user.

If the LCD is OK and it's just the front screen/digitizer that needs replacing, then this 'could' be sourced for around USD15-20.00
I've replaced an Xperia X10i digitizer myself and that only cost around USD18.00.
It was more an exercise in science to see if I could do it, than a requirement/cost exercise, thus practicing on an old unused phone in my case. :fingers-crossed:
Recently bought Z3+ this early november, reason why i bought this overheating phone because it will get Nougat update(likely, unless Sony drops the support) and couldn't afford Z5 or any of its younger bros, anyway i have a "deffective" flap, since it gets loose often and easily, been googling this..... youtube that..... no info regarding changing flap of Z3+, don't wanna send this to Sony Service Center since it's in city far from my house(really far) and it's the closest SSC I've known, plus don't know how long would it take just to repair flap.....we all know Sony is bad at customer service....well mostly, so i decided to just buy replacement part, anyone can tell me how to remove and install the flap?, just write it down in the comment, video is much more appreciated though..
