Iphone Beer and iwash apps for Diamond?

Hey all,
This is my first post on here so be gentle please!
I just got a touch Diamond and i love it, My boss got the new iphone and he has all those apps where u press a button and it fills with beer or a chick comes out and washes the inside of the screen. What i am wondering is, Is there any like those for the Diamond? Or could any of you very kind developers hack one or make one that would work?
I mainly want the one where the chick comes out an cleans my screen coz im a perv!!

I have seen pretty much everything else from the iphone come over to our phones so I'm sure it is out there somewhere (cannot say that I have seen it yet though)

i know its early days at the mo, so i dont mind waiting for this stuff but if anyone has or does see anything like these two apps for the Diamond then id really be interested !

really, really very important subject and posted not in "diamond", no.....it has to be started in "ROM development"...keep spamming! keep pushing the real important stuff to the 2nd and 3rd pages with yr spam. please read the rules, read a few posts, understand the way this forum is build and only than post. no, there is no development of beer/popcorn gifs/effects here ! iPhone needs this kind of stuff to be appealing and to make ppl forget that it is not coming even close to the the apps of diamond. yes, judging by his size he can be good at making popcorn!

Thats no app. Thats a video in fullscreen. Even the Today-Screen is faked.
You start the video, then 7 seconds it shows the Today-Screen, then it fills in the Beer. Same with the naked girl...

There is a post in the this topic about a lightsaber app that uses the acceleromitor (SP?), and i noticed none of you guys had gone in there to flame the guy who made that post!
Surely these are the same kind of things, The beer app isnt a video. As i said in my fist post my boss has the iphone an that app an it's no video, it moves as you move you're phone around.
If you have a problem with where a post is put then all you had to do was alert a mod or ask for it to be moved not go an Epeen mission. I signed up to these forums because ive been reading through them for about 2 years lookin for advice or cool apps for my older PDA's that ive had an this didnt seem like the kind of place where people were arse's for no reason!

no, the post is in the "diamond" section not "diamond rom development"
the guy posted where this kind of things should be posted and he posted an application not questions about some hypothetical, nonexistent applications.
the space in this forum and in the first page specialy is "expensive".
ppl are watching posts regarding ROMs and important stuff related to diamond. each time a noob start a thread like yrs he pushes the really important stuff to the next pages.
what's so difficult to understand and to accept? why argue?!
nobody asked from you explanations or apologies. all we are asking you is to stop. come and check the forum from time to time and if there will be such an application you'll see it posted exactly like the saber....got it?
one thing more...stop asking here stuff that you see on iPhone...this is a diamond forum and we don't really love the "i" word.
now, are we OK? should i explain it to you again? with simpler words? should i bring here a few more members to ask you nicely to "let it go"????

So you got flamed, so what?! the point of that is you have to learn from it. and if you have read these forums for two years you should know by now to post in the correct thread and the correct forum for your questions or needed advice. I've taken a look at some of the apps.
They got one mayor Plus.
They look good.
But most of them aren' t that functional. (from what i've seen)
But that might also change.
Chapeau Steve Jobs, for bringing out this SDk that will allow for all these great apps that most consumers seem to want.
Is there a Remote Desktop app for the Iphone BTW?

I realize this thread isn't directly about a developing apps from these forums, but isn't it worthwhile to introduce new ideas into our developer community?
All it takes for something really cool to be developed here is for one tiny spark of intuition to happen. I'd love to see some of the ideas presented by the above links developed to be used on our devices. How is that off-topic?

I think it comes down to that it's not dev as there is no software as such, as in your not posting software etc "something contributory", when moved it wasn't a Q&A because it was answered, so kinda off topic.. Mind you if you had posted in your phone sub forum software section it would still be there.
So there's alot of questions you have to ask yourself before posting. (i.m.o)

Little Big Planet for Mobile?
Anybody else play Little Big Planet on PS3? The foldout physics UI on the TAT site looks like a port of this game.

I don't think I would use the video player because core and tcpmp is most likely better.

If you look through their blog at their video tech demos, there are quite a few applications that I think would be an instant hit. Like some of the unlocking applications.

Theme set up

I read Stericson's post but honestly I liked how it was set up the old way. What do you guys think? Would it be possible to bring it by "Popular Demand" of what we the users want? Or is it set and locked like this for ever. I don't know imo makes things a bit confusing..

I agree with you. I only have a G1; therefore, I have only tested my theme with a G1, and anyone with another android device, while it should work, but I will not know whether it will work out of the box. Also, I do not care to see all of themes made exclusively for the htc hero (since those will not run on the G1). There should be the android themes forum for themes that have been made to run on every android phone on this site, but there should be a place in the specific device forum for themes that will only work with that phone.

Exactly, it should be kept within the appropriate device section how it was before. I have XDA DREAM bookmarked never saw the front page in my life until today.

I thought that dream/magic were the only 2 phones on this site since i had those bookmarked.

i was so confused when i saw all the threads in the theme section were marked as read, then i noticed they were moved and i thought to myself "this does not please me." haha

yuh now i had to re bookmark and its not as easy on the phone now i have to re direct my bookmarks..this is honestly a bad decision but id probably get banned for speakin my mind!

Can't find what you are looking for and what device it runs on

even better, go look past the first 2 or 3 pages in the dream themes and wallpapers section, nothing has been moved. all of the device specific stuff was moved to general, and all of the general was left in the device specific area. now i just feel even more confused by this decision.

If you don't have it here it is. This is the newest version of the market. Im posting it because its such a major update and I know people are gonna want it early instead of waiting for it to show up in roms. I've tested it on Apex (latest version) and it is working perfect. I do know that the movies wont play on rooted devices so dont rent or buy movies. But that isn't a program issue that's a restriction that Google has imposed on us and considering everyone reading this is gonna have a rooted phone, most likely, its important I tell (warn) you about it. Also if for some reason you have an issue with me posting this don't bother me about it. Im just posting it for the people that want it. Also if for some reason you dont know how to install just go into the system apps folder then remove the old market and paste this one.
EDIT.... There is another thread that I didn't notice before I posted this so if you wanna download from that thread that's fine. Its all the same though.

It has been on the first page of themes and apps for the past two days often right after the stickies but w/e i know that related topics search can be a finiky mistress sometimes

This new market is baked into the rom that Im currently, and I've gotta say that it seems so much smoother than the last android market release, and the layout of the apps and info makes it a much more pleasant experience IMO. Thanks for posting the .apk

For those of you who do not know me i mostly do some work on the sony scene of things and recently got interested in android devices
so im just making a quick little post to say hi and ill be here to stay as well
first up im taking a look at a few projects that are quite powerful but need a few updates
