As the title says, does anyone have the build.prop from 2.21? I need to disable the OTA notification without flashing a custom rom and this is the only way I can think of (to replace with 2.21's build.prop to trick the servers into thinking i've already have the latest update).
Bump. Anyone?

Once I updated my build.prop for the navigation install, I've found a new feature in my android.
When someone calls, I get a floating gray box over the incoming call dialog that prompts me to 'double-click to answer'
Has anyone found any other features?
i thought you uploaded the file or something

The build.prop file is the same one that came out of the Motorola Droid GSM dump.

I have tried multiple Roms based on the latest 2.1 leak and with all of them I have been unable to get ANY version of Launcher.apk to work including ADWLauncher which is my favorite launcher to use. Is there some missing framework etc. that is the cause of all this? Any help with this problem and how to fix it would be most appreciated.
Chances are its missing the .odex. The newest leak is an odexed rom therefore .odex files are needed.

Yea that too.
So I guess my question then is, is there any way that I can fix it so it does work?
The G.E ROM I'm running has this ugly battery icon. If anyone could post their stock SystemUI I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What do you mean it didn't work? It's from a stock GE ROM ... What are you doing with it? You'll need to flash it in recovery, just swapping it and rebooting can cause issues/force closes.

I thought you can only flash ZIP files? How do I flash the apk?

You can, if it's a flashable zip ... You can't flash it just as an apk, no, I was asking what you did with the one I upped you. Did you put it in a flashable zip and flash it or did you just move it using root explorer or similar? ... You said it didn't work but it is a stock SystemUI so whatever you did with it is what didn't work lol

Is it just the app that is not working? Does it crash?
Also, I don't think M gives you enough space to do anything on the system partition. ....And unless you have a custom kernel that removed /system r/w protection, you also won't be able to modify anything.
So Further to the question above, if the app does not crash;
How much free space do you have on System?
What kernel are you using? Link to thread.
Looks like it is working using the lastest JDX rom. So it might have been the system partition as you suspected. I also able to use adaway and change the dpi which was not working before. Thanks!

Can a link to this rom be provided?
What exactly is it thats preventing fonts from being installed...?
Would a kernel fix it

Yes, as long as the kernel is removing r/w protection. I know there was a special version of Elemental X 3.00 but that is not posted in post 1 of the thread. I am not sure of the newer versions include that or not.
JDX is a stock based rom in the android development forum which presumably has the modded kernel.
Sweet thanks, I'll have a look
Hi everyone. I have this problem: When I change system apps (SystemUI, SecSettungs, LegacyInCallUI and others) on my G800H 5.1.1 Lollipop framework, system works properly. But when I change framework-res, system starts up and goes to reboot. Any ideas?
P.S. Sorry for my English
Can anyone help me please?
Hello, I have a question and I think it can remove it here. When a ROM is installed, whichever it is absolutely supersedes all? That is, it replaces all that can be seen from the TWRP?

ROM installed in September 2015 (when it's realised). Rooted, TWPR 2.8
Hello, I am not referring to when (date) to install the ROM. I meant when installing a ROM, replaced everything that can be seen in the recovery?
I will not give a solution. I'm with a doubt and I think you can help
OK, problem solved. I deodexed my firmware, and now it runs normal with edited framework-res
