I performed the LagFix1024.sh and now I have no display. Good news is that I can boot into recovery, but what are my options.
Additional Info: After the script finished, I pressed the home button and my wallpaper changed to stock. I rebooted and now I have no display, but I do hear the bootup sound.

After i changed the digitizer and display the bootanimation doesn't show anymore.
I have to wait until startup has finished and press the power button a couple of times. Then it seems to work as it should.
Also if I boot into recovery it shows as it should.
Is the motherboard damaged, maybe the cheap display or is it maybe softwarerelated? I have tried several ROMs and the same thing always happen.
T-Mobile Moto X Developer edition, rooted, SuperSU
It shows the motorola animation, then the screen goes black.
For a split second, the notification bar (empty save the clock) and the three on screen "buttons" at the bottom both show up, then quickly disappear.
I can get into twrp recovery. Wiped cache & dalvik, rebooted to system. Got the "android is upgrading" box, screen stayed on while this was completing, but then went off and once again I only see the notification bar and the buttons for a split second.
I had installed "delayed lock" and "adblock plus" earlier today, but the phone has been restarted since then without incident.
The reboot immediately before this first happened was initiated from within ROM Toolbox Pro.
The notification bar and the three on screen buttons reappear for a split second when i pick the phone up as well (presumably when it would be showing me active notifications)
I am fairly certain I know how to reflash to the moto dev edition factory image, but was hoping to avoid if at all possible. Any simpler suggestions?
Supposedly there is a "SAFE MODE" (no 3rd party apps) you can access by holding both volume buttons once the motorola splash appears, but I can't seem to get that to work.
Additionally, within the moto recovery img, you can hit volume up for 10 seconds then press and release power to access these options: reboot, apply update from sdcard, apply update from ADB, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition.
My Ativ S (i8750) ran out of battery, so I plugged it into a charger and waited. It powered up normally by itself, but stopped loading on the WP logo and just displayed it for a few hours (while still being charged).
Holding the power button resulted in restart, but it still stopped loading on the Windows logo. The only way to turn it down was to remove battery, and each time it refused to boot up into system.
The only things that still work on it:
-power and volume up: brings up the bolt icon,
-power and vol up + camera opens downloading mode,
-power and vol down (exclamation mark) worked only once after each rom flashing, but hard resetting wasn't possible due to the screen completly turning off (during key-combination; not answering for hours).
I was using this phone for a month before this, with official 8.1.1 done over OTA.
Since the downloading mode was working - I flashed it with the GDR3 CMJ1 rom. Everything went smoothly, but after the restart it greeted me with the same issue: stuck at windows phone logo (now with the older gdr3's look). Flashing it again, or with the gdr2 bme1 doesn't change anything.
What can I do to bring it back to life?
Hello and thank you for attempting to help me. I have a Nexus 6 from T-mobile. My dentist appointment yesterday brought me clean teeth and a terrible phone problem. While I was there yesterday my phone decided to download the 5.1.1 update OTA. I pressed the okay button and it restarted. On boot up, I get a white window saying it is "optimizing apps x out of 138". It does that every time I boot it up. After that window is finished, I get a black backgrounded lock screen. On the lock screen in the usual place is the time. In the top left it says there is no sim card. In the bottom I get the normal call, unlock, camera buttons. I am able to drag down the top to show the notification information. As far as I know there are no settings changed from the factory Nexus 6 I recieved from T-mobile. Now I have attempted multiple tasks to try to access my phone but all have been in vain. Here is a list of what I have tried.
To unlock the phone normally. The result is a black screen, a little beep, a white window that says Google services have failed. After a second or two the white screen goes away and leaves a empty screen. I am still able to hold the power button to reveal the white power off window and it works. I can also hold down on the volume and the power button to create a screen shot. It even shows the whole minimization of the current screen and fall to the bottom like it would if the phone was working properly.
I tried to swipe the call button and all it does is give me a blank white screen with a blue notification bar at the top. I can once again power off or screen shot but nothing else.
I have not tried to swipe from camera yet.
I can drag down on the top notification bar to show the the notifications, quick setting changes (Wifi, data, airplane modes, brightness) and the setting button to go to the setting menu. I can turn the brightness up and down, and turn all the other things in the quick menu on and off but if I click anything (toogle them or slide the brightness) and put the notifications bar back up I get the black screen with the white google services has crashed window. I can power off and screen shot normally.
If i swipe down on the notification bar and press setting It crashes once again and gives the black screen and white window that says google services has crashed. I can power off and screen shot normally.
I tried holding volume down and the power button then went into recovery mode. Held power then press volume up to get to the next menu and then deleted the cache partition. It has no effect that I have noticed.
As stated above, I do not think I have usb debugging enabled, I assume my boot loader is locked. This phone has not been modded by me.
I do not want to factory reset if I do not have to due to the very important phones and numbers i have.
You didn't make a backup before updating ?

Unless there is a previous setting in place that I clicked to automatically update it when ever there is one available, I do not remember picking to update. It downloaded and asked me to reset. I assumed it was a small patch and not something that could screw up my phone. I could of though. But no I did not.

Well, I'd suggest a factory reset even though you are reluctant. Otherwise, bring it somewhere for repair. But chances are they're going to tell you to factory reset.
Hello everyone.
Last night I took to the journey of replacing my screen on my moto x. After carefully piecing all of the parts back together, something weird happened.
The phone seemed to start up normally, with the traditional M logo, and then goes into the boot animation. It'll sit there booting for a good minute, and then will make a small buzz, the boot animation will freeze in the middle of a frame, and then it'll shut off and redo the same process.
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue, and has found a fix yet. Thank you in advance
Did you try to make a hard reset at your phone? Make a hard reset and see if the issue remains.
To do this,
With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time for about 3 seconds.
From the Boot Mode Selection Menu screen, use the Volume Down button to scroll to Recovery, and press Volume Up to select.
When the screen with the Android logo appears, press and hold the Power button, then press and release Volume Up to display the menu options.
Use the volume keys to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power key to select it.
Scroll down to "Yes - erase all user data" and press the Power key to select it.
