The pictures I use for contacts look pretty good but when creating a favorite the pic becomes quite blurry. Nothing like the nice hot chickie pics in all the Diamond ads. Anyone else with this problem? Is it related to a particular pic format or resolution?
Thanks!
Try this:
Go to TF3D album and pick a picture you want to add to a contact.
Select the pic. Select the options the pic has (by cliking on pic)
then just select "save to contact" this will place the pic at full res.
Enjoy.
Worked great, thanks!
I cannot find my contact pictures in TF3D album.
The pictures have been added in Outlook and are visible in the contact details. But apparently they are not saved on the device???
Any idea?

nope,
what he means is that you have to put the pictures in your album and asigne theme to your contact frome there.
But then will the pictures be visible in Outlook?
Hey guys I need help.
I know there was an app that converted pictures you took of a page and converted all the words from the page into text, so you can email it/text it or whatever.
Does anybody remember the name of this app?
Found it, apps called SnapIt. Thread over.

Update
After some testing with alpha group an update was released today to add several features and address some of the issues people post here and using comments.
The update is staged and it will take few day until it will come to everyone.
I'm sure more bugs will appear in the next few days and I will do my best to solve them and will upload a much cleaner version A.S.A.P.

Arik

Looks great. Does it support the lock screen?
Good thing? ?
Is it possible to have smaller pictures, or choice to select picture size in the future Or have 4x4, 4x2, etc. ?
I like to see more favorite contacts at once on home screen.

I'll see what i can do with the smaller pictures.
Lock screen mode is enabled also
Good widget:good:
Awesome widget! The only thing I wish it had is an option to force a confirmation pop-up window when clicking on a contact. or something like that. I find myself calling people by accident when I put the phone back in my pocket.
Cheers!
I don't know if this is possible with future updates but I figured I'd throw it out there:
It would be cool if this app could somehow pull data from Calendars or Facebook and let you know "its so-and-so's birthday today" as a reminder for you to call them.

Frank hi.
I doubt that that facebook option will possible since it require network access.
that widget require phone book and call log access that along are Invasive permissions with network access that even worse.
after saying that if the community will ask for that I will check what I can do.

So earlier today I was attempting to grab an online photo of someone to associate with a contact so I don't accidentally reject the call (I tend to just let people I don't know go to voice mail). So I looked up the number with Firefox/duckduckgo, found the photo I wanted, did a press/hold and the menu pops up. Select 'Set image as' and then selected Contacts.
Contacts then crashes (I tried it twice, with the same result, except the second time it asked to close app or send feedback, vs restart app and send feedback.)
So is this a bug? Or is it me thinking the phone should be smarter than that? I mean is Contacts thinking I'm opening it AS a Contact? And since all it sees is a jpg, it crashes?
This seems like it'd be good functionality. now I wonder if Bixby would look up a photo and put it into a contact for me....
I've noticed a trend of hiding favourites in the contact app, requiring further navigation to get to them rather than making the list front and centre when the contacts app starts.
Personally, I'd find an icon that launched straight into the favourites list more useful then the default contacts icon. Is there such a thing?
Why must they bury the favourites list?

You can create a contact shortcut but dont think you can do it for the fav list as a whole
