Hello,
Can any help me in telling the latest energy ROM which supports
opera 10
Also i am looking for digital compass, is it there
thank you in advance
they all support opera 10. if its not in the ROM, just install it by going to the opera mobile website.
there are no compass applications as the HD doesnt have a compass. youll have to find something that uses GPS
Plus, if you have a query concerning a certain rom or chef, post your question in one of his/her threads. No need for a new thread.
Generic questions i.e. compass should be posted in General section or alternatively....search in applications forum

Hi All,
I have had my Touch HD for about 6 months now with the standard Orange ROM, I updated to the latest 1.59 Orange ROM last week but am interested in updating to one of the custom efforts out there to see what they are like.
I have no problem with performing the update but there are so many ROMS to choose from and i was hoping i could piggy back on the opinions of the forum members to help me choose which one to use.
I am mainly a business type user so i only use my phone for:
Making calls - Obivously
Organising appointments
Listening to music
Using TomTom
I do not use the phone on the net generally, i occassionaly watch video on there but not too bothered about that.
So I am looking for a ROM with the best calendar & contact functionality, would like a ROM which inlcudes voice recognition for my contacts without me having to set them all up myself (as in the stock ROM) if possible. Obviously i would like this to run as smoothly as possible, especially with TomTom and with nice, stable bluetooth/WiFi connectivity.
Look forward to your comments !
Cheers
Mark
if you want a WM 6.5 ROM id try one from Energy maybe?
can view his post here..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524032
but if your happy with WM 6.1 i would go with Miris 6.1 - manila 2.5 rom (its the one i use)
link here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547278
but it all depends on what you like i find.
Opionated threads are generally frowned upon and closed in XDA as everyone is different, therefore having different opinions, likes & dislikes.
Best advice I can offer you is do a little research, see what criteria in a rom your looking for:
*wm6.1 or wm6.5
*manila 2.0, 2.1 or 2.5
*lite or heavy rom (i.e. no apps or loads of apps)
Also have a look at this benchmark thread. Once you have decided what criteria you want, try a few roms which fit the bill and make your own conclusion of what best suits you, after all, only you can do this!!
Hello guys,
After flashing with the newest ENERGYRom Leo made by NRGZ , I wonder how to turn off the sound when composing phone number? I look at base register but I don't know where ...
Thanks.

This forum is specifically for rom development, radio's etc. If you have a query regarding a certain rom, your query should be posted within that rom thread. You are more likely to get an accurate response from people using same rom. If everyone created a new thread each time they had a query, this forum would become too cluttered.
Hi,
I´ve got a AT&T Tilt 2, I have installed this Rom, |R|6.5.3|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Phoenix 2" 23519/21891 ★Feb 4★ Sense 2.1/Titanium ★, and it works great. no actual complains so far. have only have it for a week. however, there are a few thing I would like to get assistance if possible.
1-would there be any cab installer that would make the zoom bar work with IE and Opera 10? or is there any configuration that I can do myself? it works fine with the pictures, but not the browsers.
2-the FM Radio apps won´t go over the 88 band/range. is there any fix to this? before flashing the device, with the stock AT&T ROM, it would do it just fine.
3-last but not least, is there any app or cab installer that would allow you to change the font color of the different screens? if i use a bright or witheish color background it´s almost impossible to see the letters.
any helpd would be much appreciated, and thanks a lot for all the information. the ROM is great! just wanted some help with these little details.
the version i have says it´s winmo 6.5 profesional
CE OS 5.2.21889 (Build 21889.5.0.87)
Hi you need to post this in the thread of your rom not start a hole new thread you whil get more help there
I already did, but there are so many posts there that it feels like it just going to get left out!
you can find the answers to most if not all your questions by using the search feature, if you still have trouble you should post your question in the thread you downloaded the rom from....thread closed
Hi,
There's a way to delete Windows and run into the phone something different?
Thanks
Hi,
you may start with the first few threads from here (so-called sticky threads) in order to get an overview:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=430
Basically, you can replace the original WM which those available here.
You could also run Android as an alternative, but afaik it is not fully featured, for up-to-date information on this you may look in the corresponding threads about Android on the Diamond.
Good luck!
Hey! thank you for the quick reply!
Now i have on the Diamond BsB Ultimate By Makeveral, i tried Android but it's like an "emulator" (i'm not very expert about the specific name); i want To delete windows and have only Android or something else..
Sorry for my stupid Question! I read more about Haret and it's not an emulator
There's a way to turn on the phone and choose android before windows?
And wich Startup.txt file i have to put in for diamond P3700?
I guess you need to search for and read further threads ...
There is a cab available, so you can choose the OS each time you turn on the phone. Look for "yozgaty" for his great works.
Afaik you can also completely replace WM with Android.
Check for the Android section for the Raphael yourself:

Personally, I found the Android experience on the Diamond (via Haret) not very handy for daily use (small screen size and a bit laggy when you start using apps more heavily) but kind of fun to play with ..
Good luck!

You should think about grabbing a copy of Copilot Live 8. Tried it, loved it. Have since transferred it to my Streak, but it works great on X1.

Navigation software, open streetmap
Hi,
this may be my opportunity to contribute:
For I am a new user, I am not allowed to post links, sorry. Google will help you.
I was also looking for navigation software, especially for biking.
There is a internet routing service which uses open streetmanp maps. Which seems to be pretty good.
The domain is:
openrouteservice
You can switch the language to english.
While searching for a pocket application I stumbled upon
wiki.openstreetmap org wiki WinPDA
Here you find tons of software which you can try. Currently I am not able to recommend anything, cause I am still trying which suits me best.
Currently I am testing
monav
I think your choice will depend on your usage of the software, the memory of your phone and if or if not you have a internet flatrate (> google maps mobile).
I want to switch from google to a software, which uses maps stored on sd card to cut my cost.
Hope I could help,
Jens
