If I am rooted and using the latest JF ADP 1.5 rom, will I still receive the ota update from T-Mobile USA, or do I need to return my G1 to stock rom?
You need to return it to stock firmware. follow the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=491350
Thank you very much for the link!
first I think you guys are the best you have shown that the Android platform is all they said it would be, before they screwed it down. I have a UK G1 with cupcake 1.5. last night an update OTA change my buid to build CRC1. has any one tryed to root one yet. Or has the downgrade method been patched

Haven't seen any one trying to root yet. You can be a gracious guinea pig and try it?
G1 build DMD64-how do I root it
Just like any other G1. Roll back to RC29 and root from there.
I have a Google direct Nexus One, running FRF91 OTA and I'm wondering if I should root it. What advantages does rooting my device bring me? Is there an easy way of rooting without unlocking the bootloader? Can I install a custom theme without rooting? Can I keep the stock FRF91 rom and still maintain root and OTA downloads?
Im trying to 1 click root my friends Motorola Droid but he has the FRG22d build that is not supported yet with 1 click root, I have been looking for downgrade instructions to go to FRGO1B but he has a Mac and all the downgrade instructions I have seen are only for PC's and Linux. So is there a different method he can downgrade or root on his mac?
