Hello,
sorry that i ask here a question, but i search a Windows Mobile Theme or Programm to replace the COMPLETE CONTACT MANAGEMENT of Windwos Mobile.
I mean also the Edit Contact eg. not only the Contact view.
I have tired IContact and it looks god, but it replaces not the Edit/Add contact function from Windwos Mobile.
Does anyone know a chance to replace COMPLETE all of the functions of windows mobile Contact Management?
Thanks for answers
Matthias

Hi all, when I add a new contact, this option appears by "surname, name" be default. I like to have contacts by "name, surname"; so everytime I add acontact I have to go to this option and change.
Anyone knows how to change this value by default?. I know there is a program for Pocket PC that fix it but i don't know how to manage with a SMP.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I've managed to do adjust it in my Outlook. There is an option when you click on your contact, to just say 'display as .. '. It's there where you can state how to list your contacts if I'm not mistaken.

I would imagine that is your email "signature". It can be configured within your email utility, whether it be Pocket Outlook or a third-party application. Which email application are you using?
Using exchange and whatever the default one is in WM 6.1 which im guessing is out look mobile.
I have not setup any signatures anywhere.
Where abouts would it be configured on the pda?
Cheers
EDIT:
Actually looked abit futher, found it.
Thanks for that it was the email signature

Limited User, Vista 64 and Jeyo?
Hi,
Anyone have Jeyo Mobile Extender working in Outlook 2007, 64bit, on Vista?
It seems to function as administrator, but not as limited user.
I'm in an SBS controlled domain environment here.
Thanks for any help,
Matt
Microsoft sucks like that....or 3rd party vendors need to be reminded programs need to run as users, not local admins...it makes us windows support staff crazy when people request software like this and they have to be given local admin privs or we have to spend days on figuring out what registry edits need to be made and god forbid we have to reimage the system...we're hosed.
Hey, I have a problem.
I want all my contacts from my Diamond on my pc, so I can put them on my new phone.
Now, I don't have outlook, and can't download it (I'm on smallband, 3kb/s for the win)
My question was, is there anywhere a small application that can retrieve them for me, or are the contacts somewhere in the HTC directory?
Thanks in advance!
if the other phone is a win mobile too use pimbackup
Hey guys, I have nokia E72 and i want to move my contacts from TyTN II to my Nokia E72. I don't have any idea how to do it. Please help me out
Usually I use email client (Outlook express,Microsoft outlook etc) to do it.
Firstly I synchronize contact detail from Tytn to Outlook Express or Microsoft outlook and then re-synchronize contact to E72 using Nokia PC Suite from Outlook express or microsoft outlook. CMIIW.
I hope you can understand what I mean due to my bad english grammar....
I got it thanks a lot

You're welcome....!
Nice to help you....
Sry for my question.
I dont have Nokia PCSuite installed and I wouldnt install it. Can I without installing PCSuite syncronizes my Nokia Contacs with my TyTN II?
In case no one knows of a freeware app to mass send all contacts (via bluetooth or something that bypasses the need for Nokia software), you could always just turn on bluetooth on phones, probably best to pair them. Then open up your contacts on the TyTn II, and send each contact individually by bluetooth (it may be listed as "beam", think it depends on ROM version(?)) to your nokia. Do make sure that extra fields are received and mapped correctly - eg work fax number goes to the correct category, addresses, birthdays, e-mails etc., BEFORE you stop taking your TyTn II around with you.

Previously i use vCard manager to backup all contact from Nokia and it will result single file (vCard) ready to backup/copying to another symbian phone. But unfortunately that i didn't know winmo application to read vCard file perfectly in HTC.
I think it will be difficult without pc suite to backup/copying contact to another phone OS.
