hey guys i know many of you like me had issues with market downlaod not working or not installing etc, please try this out as its worked for me and ive even managed to instal all apps i had through titanium back up which also wasnt working for me
Please do the following steps in the way i did:
1. turn off the phone so its completely shut down (ie NOT in recovery or download mode). Once you are powered down remove your sd card, please DO NOT replace the sd card until i say
2. reboot to recovery and make backups of anything you dont want to lose through usb mount and copy items to pc, once this is done, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wide data factory reset in that order
3. Complete the Factory reset and reboot
4. As soon as the device is restarted the first thing to do is login to Google Talk
5. After Google Talk has booted and is complete. Go back to home screen and start Market. Start off with downloading google maps
6. Press the Download and wait for instal to complete
7. now this is done you should be able to go ahead and start downloading other apps, i recomend trying a few you have had trouble installing then go for installing all from a back up if they instal ok
8. Now what we need to do is turn the phone off again so its completely shut down and then replace the sd card, replace the back cover of your phone, turn on the phone and wait for everything to start up as you would with your pc (while this is taking its time starting up go and get yourself a cold beer from the fridge and congratulate yourself on fixing your app market)
9. now try downloading apps from market again
10. have fun
goodnight and god bless
Hi Steve hopefully gonna try this tonight but Im trying to remember if you were on Darky's v9.2 Rom or not? If so after the factory reset did you install a stock (eg: XXJPY) first and then Darky's Rom or installed Darky's Rom straight away with CF-Root Kernal?
Thanks
I was fiddling around with ROM Manager and installed the touch recovery, when I tried to reboot into recovery my phone just hung at the LG boot screen. I am at a loss on what to do with it, is there some type of software I can download to fix this?
Have a look into this thread:

Hi, I'm playing with new CheckROM NoteHD™ V6 and I have some issues with Kitchen Pro. When I want to install something, for example a boot animation, when the SGN is restarting to install it I hear some strange cracking and popping sounds. I don't get this when I reboot either by pressing a power button or through command from Rom Toolbox.
The second strange thing is that I have to install boot animations manually, because for some strange reason Kitchen Pro only restarts SGN in CWM Recovery and stops, doesn't matter if I tick the CWM Recovery Fix or not. To make it even stranger Kitchen Pro installs kernels automatically (the way it should do it with animations too) without any problem. I'm clueless...
I'm posting here cause I'm a noob and don't have access to development section.
Well looks like I've overlooked something... cracking and popping happens even through Rom Toolbox, I didn't notice it because I had my phone on mute. Either way I still don't know what is causing it.
And I think that autoinstall might collide with CWM Recovery (the one with touch feature), as now even kernels doesn't autoinstall.
Whenever i open any application from notification my screen lock, can anyone help me pls
Run recovery mode. Perform wipe dalvik and cache partition.
how and when did this start to happen... what rom are u on ? have u installed any mods?
Hello guys.
Does anyone faced a similar situation?
I tried to use an app named chainfire 3d in my Razr I, but my phone got reboot and now the logo of Motorola simply just do not disapear, the screen freezes.
I tried to apply for recovery in the hard reset, factory... everything... but when I try to turn on my phone again, stills in Motorola Logo.
My phone is rooted (but the bootloader stills locked). I am afraid to try to use the warranty and people say that I loose it.
What am I suposed to do?
This sounds very weird.
Could you please post the link to the Play store with the application you installed?
Did it request root access?
You could connect it to the pc and maybe get access through ADB to it. If it really is the applications fault, then you could uninstall it that way.
[Edit]
Was it this one here?

If yes, it clearly states that it is NOT for Honeycomb/Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean.
He also writes:
!! There is some risk involved installing the driver. Your device may not boot. If you have CWM, it would be prudent to create a backup before installing !!

Click to collapse
So yeah, maybe you can uninstall it through ADB and get your device booting again.
Have you tried getting into recovery vai ADB?
