Just FYI,
If you are using PingChat, apparently it is sending somekind of heartbeat to it's server every 5 minutes.
Here is from the log (see below).
So, it does not use Android Push, apparently.
While I don't see this kind of behavior on WhatsApp ....

That's how push works, guys.
Though they could probably tone down the check in to a higher cycle.
The reason you don't see it in whatsapp is because they use google's servers, where as pingchat is using their own dedicated servers for push.

Whenever I receive a voicemail message the voicemail message icon does not come on in my Nexus one to notify me that I have a new voicemail message. Instead I receive a message notification from a particular phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx. This same message also comes on after I check my voicemail messages and delete them.

Guys, i have a persistent voice mail notification that says i have 5 new voice mails when in reality, i have none. I have already tried leaving a voice mail to myself then deleting, and modifying phone preferences.xml. Any ideas?
Does anyone know why my Turbo does not show me any type of Voicemail notification? I don't use Visual Voicemail.

u need to activate the non premium version of visual voicemail for it to show
I got it working. Changed it from Basic Visual Voicemail to Basic Voicemail
My wife and I have the same 2013 Moto X (XT1053), both on Consumer Cellular, APNs set the same and both use the paid version of Textra on which we have the same settings. We can both send and receive MMS messages but she keeps getting a text message from Textra saying "Can't get MMS - Check Textra --> MMS settings --> APN" She has probably gotten this text 6 or 7 times today already and yet she has successfully received and sent MMS messages today. I'm guessing this is either a CC or Textra problem but posted this here in case someone else might have gotten the same message and figured out how to fix it.

Apparently a feature of 1.4 is the ability to say "ok google send hangouts message to xxx"
When i try to do this it says "no account for xxx"
There is an account as i can go into hangouts on my watch and read conversations and then reply that way.
Anyone have this working?
Did you find a solution for this? I've got the same problem with my XT1068 on MM and my Moto 360 on MM. Exactly the same issue.
No still have the same issue, its annoying!
