If you need Tattoo buttons why not buy a broken HTC Tattoo on ebay?
I doubt you can exchange the Hard-Buttons on your device

Hi i called HTC and asked them about this and they told me that they can replace it for me for 150 Egyptian pounds = $25

I've recently gotten into the hobby of buying broken phones and reselling them for just enough more to cover my costs. (that's why i'm calling it a hobby).
However, I recently purchased a pretty smashed up Tilt - it needed a new LCD and an entirely new housing.
After investing that $140, I've come to find that the mainboard is probably bad, as it wont power on.
Rather than toss my money in the crapper, I want to see about replacing the mainboard, but cant find ANYONE who sells them online...perhaps I'm searching by the wrong terms, but I'm no web n00b...and I'm coming up blank.
Does anyone know of a reputable website whereby I can purchase items like the mainboard for the Tilt? Does anyone who reads these forums WORK for HTC, and like to strike a deal?
Please, PM me if you know anyone that sells these hard-to-find HTC parts...

Do you have a website thru which you sell them? I am actually in need of either an LCD for an 8525 with the gold ribbon cable, or the flex cable for an 8525 for use with an LCD with the black ribbon cable (stupid of HTC to make 2 different configurations for the same model, dont you think?)

Hi I need a internal USB port for Touch (P3450). A 8525 port don´t works internally is very different!! Do you have one?

HTC Himalaya mainboard, GSM version?
I have one with water damage to the mainboard and a problematic dock port, would be a shame to scrap it, the LCD and digitizer both work, and when the battery is charged it works perfectly, apart from when it comes to syncing (problematic port) (and if you don't just have HTC parts, I am also looking for a mainboard for a nokia 6300 and an LCD / Digitizer for an HP Ipaq 2210 / 2215 lol)

hello all im looking for a mainboard for the touch/elf0100 p/n99heh062-00 the gets to the windows mobile lags tehn gets bunch of lines and such on the screen i am guessing it the main board doesnt accept hard restart i have waranty but htc says part not in stock will 2-3weeks just to get the part not sure i want to wait hopeing the good peeps @ xda- can help. thanx in adv...

For me this two digitizer have the same size, so how can this fit on diamond2?

was in talks with the seller because he had another one listed as diamond II but now he assures me this is the right one...will wait and see I suppose..
Just got my broken D2 in the post, looks great, nice design, decent size but would never trade my HD for it
if you could post pictures etc on how you get the housing off id appreciate it as id probably want to do this down the line.

Waiting for my digitizer to come in the post, will start my DIY project then
got the digitizer, turns out to be the wrong one, they still dont have any in stock for Diamond II
but managed to hook up the DII using Pocket Controller, works a treat
bluetooth mouse and keyboard can be connected to it no problem using Blueinput, all I have to do now is figure out how to control the DII from my HD
I search one too... I mailed tens of sellers on ebay and they can't provide me this...
I eventually gave up and sold it on
got an omnia hd now, will see whats that like

Dont know if anyone else is feeling this way but I ve failed to turn the device on a little to often from the power button sitting so low. But just to throw it out there, I bought the nice transparent back -black/frame case from T-Mo and now like a breeze no more problems with switching the power on. And also the camera button people been saying "is to hard to press" is a breeze as well.
Yep, I've found this as well. Kind of glad its not just my device and its just a design thing. Its ok, slightly annoying, sure I'll get used to it.
It gets better overtime... either that or I just got used to it.

Yeah but it works for me, though. When I used my Touch Pro2, I always hit the power button accidentally while in my pocket. The HD7 is less likely to do this.
I just got it today so I'll update if anything changes.
DJ Lu - Was the case you got at T-Mo an HD7 specific case or was it for some other phone? I'm looking for a nice case for the phone if anyone has any good suggestions for here in the USA.

I'm not sure which case he's using, but I bought the T-Mobile HD7 case that they had in-store, it's this case: http://mobilitydigest.com/speck-case-available-for-windows-phone-hd7/
It makes the power and camera button a lott easier to turn on.
@Jonded, yes its a specific case for HD7. @ace its just like that one but with a transparent back. But yes it fits perfectly And it dont look cheap at all..

Quite liking that. Will need to find a UK distributor.
Guess I have to be different. But I like the fact that the button's flushed because I tend to keep my phone in my pocket. This reduces my chance of powering the device accidentally, like I used to do with my Touch Pro2.
Agreed, I used to do this a lot with my HD2, turn it on and butt call people. i think its more of the fact that the button is on a bit of a slanted edge, so you just have to press it at an angle. For example, if you are looking at your phone, you have to press the button slightly at an angle away from you, not just down
im actually returning my hd7 for that reason .. not only power button the camera button too .. hard to take a pic ..i dont see it lasting more than 6 month pressing it the way u have to in order to take a pic..gonna return it and wait for the dell. or switch to att and get samsung...

Just buy the case T-Mobile has for it, it makes the buttons a lot easier to press, they actually feel normal. You'll probably want a case on your phone anyways. If you like the Dell for another reason, then go for it.

Sorry, I can't do that for you, I'm only 18 and still living with my parents, my mom would think it's weird if I mailed something to someone online. She's not very trusting like that, I am though. Maybe someone else could do it for you.

pls advice. It is totally impossible to buy any hd7 case here.

If you can't get it done. Here is a case from Fommy that will be available on the 27th of this month. Hey homie, I gotta used HTC One through Sprint, I tried replacing the screen on it but I fu#ked one of the connections up when I was putting it back together so I just got another one using my insurance. So I'm left with this other HTC One that dont really work but it would be great for what you need it for. I'll give it to you if you still need it. Let me know bro.. I got it so whenever you need it, it ain't goin anywhere. 10/10/2014

hello all, who among you who know daughterboard flexible scheme? I need the schematic for repair pathways that break up the volume button when opening the rear shell
I buy Htc one m7 at &t from walmart [usa] i dont have any type of warranty or bill cause i m using it in india.
My main quation is /"when i have to unlock phone its need to press upper head small button .. i m worried about damage of that button due to maximum use of it in less intervals.''/
what should i do ? i need to take care of it or it will work for long time without any problem ?

Yes you need to press the button to wake the phone but dont worry about damaging it, the button is not very clicky anyway and is like that on all of these phones
