Clear your market cache/data next time you have that issue.
As for the market app, you can get it on their website I believe.

Install Titanium Backup and freeze the SNS 1.0 app.

Or delete it
Just get file explorer which can access /system partition, like Root Explorer, find the specific .apk in /system/app and simply remove it.

I already did it...but sometimes lg lockscreen appears again and it‘s very annoying..! i wonder if it‘s possible to delete it completely from the phone....
I installed it on my Nexus One and then grabbed the APK with Titanium Backup. I can install it on my Xoom and run it, but it won't let me login, etc. because the device isn't supported. I thought I'd post it in case any of you know how to tinker with it to remove the device compatibility check.
They got hulu working in browser, Hope they can get this app working.
You would think netflix and hulu would have released a app for tablets by now. It would benefit on both partys as far as sales so why they havent yet is beyond me.... -_-

At a guess, because they're having to work with multiple vendors for hardware DRM because that's what the media holders require.
That, and JNI/C++/Android NDK developers with enough experience to do the necessary coding are extremely hard to find. We may be having to wait while each vendor ramps one of their developers up on the necessary technologies.

What was your problem, did anything error out? I'm the one who wrote the article.
I used sed to make it easier (cut and paste) I could tell you a more manual way of doing it.

I got a device not supported error on the Xoom after applying the build.prop edits. I think there may be more we should be editing for this device.

I think you misunderstood the post (and I'm sorry if you did). This was just to make it show up in the Market. This wouldn't make the app itself allow playback if you got the error message.
Some devices do work that aren't supported (for example my Nook Color running CM7) so it makes me think that there has to be some way to get around the check, but unfortunately, that's beyond my skill set.
That makes more sense and I misunderstood your post.

Worked for me too. Too bad we can't force the app to landscape.
I have no idea on how to use that script.
Could you guys back up the app with TB and re upload here?

This method may be a little easier for you. I tested it and it seemed to work just fine.
Directions:
1. Delete Hulu Plus if you have it installed already.
2. Delete any backups you may have of it in Titanium Backup.
3. Get Titanium Backup if you don't already have it.
4. Download this file and unzip it, there will be 3 folders in it.
5. Place all 3 folders in the sdcard/TitaniumBackup folder
6. Launch Titanium Backup and restore the backup.
7. Enjoy?
And of course I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong and blah blah blah.
PLEASE NOTE: You can't use "Ad Free" or anything that modifies hosts for this, or the videos won't load.
^
Bruh, that worked perfectly. Thanks
Can we get hbogo the same way?

I just tried this and still got the "Device is not supported..." message. I'm running rooted stock 3.2. Did I do something wrong?
Did you make sure you removed all instances of previous hulu plus installs? I am running Tiamat 2.1 and it is working for me but I used Root Explorer to delete all hulu plus data before attempting the steps.

I'm looking a clean, stock ROM for the MAHD. I like the some of the motorola features, like swiping certain icons on the homescreen and having transparent windows w/ info about the app pop-up, but I can see the ATT $hit keeping the phone from running 100%. Help?

No to "uninstall" per say, but you'll have access to /system/app as well as /vendor/app where you can either rename or delete the apps

It's goes all right on the phone, after rooting.
You can delete the apps or just freeze them. Use Ti.
Thanks!

Not really necessary since you can just remove it manually without flashing a rom to do it for you
Also, aroma is an installation customization tool, not part of any rom's name....

Precisely what I was going to say and you can get rid of pretty much 99% of them as that is what I did.
You can't disable all system apps through application manager.. Unless 4.1.2 is different on the One than it is on the S3.
Freeze with Titanium sounds a viable option.

True but if you don't want to root then it's the best alternative.
