I have a few co-workers who ahve the droid and have had their 2.2 update but apparently it does not come with flash player for the browser.
is it possible to just download the apk and install it on their stock devices (ie: not rooted, etc)
I put this file on my rooted 2.2 droid X and flash works
Adobe_Flash_Player_10.1_10.1.92.8.apk
Will I be able to just give them this apk and have them up and running flash? If not, which apk do they need?
It should be in the Market for them if they have FroYo installed, but if they dont, then just download off of the interweb and install.
Hi everyone,
I have an SGS 9000 with stock 2.1 + Voodoo lagfix on it.
When I bought it, the browser would detect and use Flash because it would use Flash Lite. I have since done a factory reset several times, and noticed that neither browser (Google's stock browser and Opera) can use Flash sites any more. I tried to remedy this problem by installing the Flash 10.1 apk onto the SGS but predictably this did not work.
Does any one know how to get Flash Lite to work with either the stock browser or Opera on 2.1?
Regards.
Please note: I shall not upgrade to Android 2.2 until the Voodoo lag fix is available. Then I shall. Discussions about Android 2.2 should be considered out of scope.
Hi Guys, after just getting my phone back from repairs. They loaded the new Bell Froyo ROM. Sorry I don't remember the exact firmware (jk4 I think). After playing around with it I decided to flash another Froyo Firmware, Now I do not have the CarHome and DeskHome. I know there are some you can download for free in the market but I really liked the layout of those stock ones. Does anyone know where I can download those again?
Anyone try to load the full update on their NC?
I kinda doubt that it exists.
Hi everyone!
I recently got my euro galaxy tab. Upon connecting it to kies. It needs an update from JK5 to JMG.
I already rooted my tab and obtained latest firmware from this forum (thank you very much) to avoid locked/signed bootloaders. However upon updating with odin 1.7. I found out that the ebook applications is gone. I tried a factory reset but to no avail. Tried to manually install the app but its an odex app. I searched the forum found out i need to access /system/app but for the life of me i cannot find it (sorry for sounding noobish but tab world is new to me).
ALL I could do is revert to previous JK5 firmware. I would like to update my firmware w/o losing the ebook app. Any help would be appreciated.
Also second question. Am thinking about installing overcome custommod. Is it possible to revert to stock mod after installing overcome or is it a one way ticket.
Thank you for your tolerance and TIA for any help offered.
REGARDS.
Bump Any help please?
What ebook reader was it? Can you not install any ebook reader? (Kindle, Nook, Aldiko (my favorite), etc.)
