I installed honeycomb v4 second edition but i couldnt get the lag out even with the OC kernal so i went back to nookie froyo and its running great. My only question is..anyway i can get the honeycomb keyboard? It was perfect size for the tablet
I would also like to know how to do this, the HC keyboard is amazing

tried pushing the HC browser to /sys/app and it did not show up in the launcher, tried to install it and it gave a Parse error...

what about the widget for the bookmarks? is that part of the browser app? i didnt see an apk for it. love that little thing! anyway to get that on the N1?
I haven't a clue if it can be done, but there's two people working on an sdk port of honeycomb in the development section if you want to ask them?
It might need to be within a HC build though, not sure if it would work alone on a GB build..
I recently rooted my NC and am enjoying the experience very much. Just hated the Droid keyboard that came with Auto-Nooter but managed to get the Gingerbread keyboard installed and working. Its better but not as nice the Froyo keyboard so I have to ask: anyone managed to extract the Froyo keyboard as a package and got it working on NC 1.1 ?
Has anyone been able to get the Slacker app to work on a Nook color? I always get FC after logging it.

Worked for me on rooted 2.1 eclair but isn't working for me on Nookie Froyo. Not getting forced closes but just non responsive after splash screen.
So my new NC is autonootered and I wanted to add an alternate launcher.
I'm used to zeam on my phone (I really like dxtop but it doesn't run well on my original Droid), so that was my first choice. It didn't show up in Market on my NC. I figured it might need at least Froyo and I'm just rooted Eclair, so I went with my second choice, GO Launcher EX.
But I see LOTS of folks running autonootered Eclaire and Zeam. Are you all sideloading it?
Zeam definitely shows up in the market for me. Can't help with why it didn't show up for you, but I did not sideload. I'm on Autonootered Stock 1.1.

Zeam Launcher can be downloaded in the Android Apps and Games section of xda.

Mystery solved.
Current Zeam in the Marketplace is Froyo or later only.
Zeam 2.8.8 or earlier will work for Eclair.

Market says it's not compatible wit my phone! Running Doc's v2 (which is awesome). I found a random .apk online for the beta and it just force closes. Anyone else unable to use Chrome on their ICS Captivate?

Running on THS build 15 no prob here
I also have it running on Team ICSSGS 4.1 release. Its fast but a little buggy. Ive had it force close a few times today.
Im running in ICSSGS 4.1.
Seems buggy. Force closes and takes long to load. Stock browser seems fine. Just thought Id share anyway.

Same boat here. Stock browser/UI flys on 4.1 but chrome is still a work in progress.
Running it on weui 6.6
Running it on THS ICS. Very slow to load initially but speeds up once open but takes up a TON of space. Back to stock browser for me until it lightens the load and flies like it does on PC
A bit sluggish and takes up plenty of room, but the features are totally worth it
