Completely dead or in a boot loop? Did you flash over an unmodified Cog 4.3?
it booted up, with no service after placing sim back in, then proceeded to buzz constantly (repeating patterns) and wouldn't allow me to go into any apps for 10-15 min (still no service after all this wait).
completely stock cog 4.3 (no themes or anything). finally backed everything up with tib and reflashed with cog 4.3.1.

Strange, I just flashed it over top of a clean 4.3.1 and it worked fine.

was running a custom theme but decided to go back to stock cm rom.
Did a wipe and flashed rom and went to console and did a fix_permissions and rebooted.
Now I've lost the alarm clock app and cannot find it anymore. How can I regain it back?
Thanks

maybe open up the .zip file of this rom or another and drag and drop the alarm clock apk from it to the phone. Then install it using astro.
SuperD's uses the new clock app. All-in-one alarm, music, deskclock, gallery type thing.
I was running 2.2 and have done a lot of reading a video watching (thanks Mobile Tech videos) and finally conjured the guts to flash serendipity.
I flashed stock using odin...that went great. Copied the update.zip to sd card. Installed zip twice in 2e recovery. Copied Serendipity.zip file to sd card. started in recovery mode, selected "install from sdcard" selected serendipity.zip file and it seemed to go through that process rather quickly. Then I selected reboot and then everything just started FCing all over the place. Help please. I can get it back into recovery mode. Tried doing the wipe data/factory reset. That did help either. Help please. I really want to try serendipity. Thanks again in advanced.
How large is your serendipity.zip? Are you sure you downloaded the full 6.3 rom and not just the update?

The update won't install unless the system reports as Serendipity 6.2.
Likely a corrupt download or user error.
"adb reboot download" and Odin should fix it right up and you can start afresh.

as terrible as it is to admit this, it was user error. It was the update file. I tried going back into odin to reflash stock, but I could never get it to work. It would connect to a comm port and everything, but then it would just sit there for 30 min an do nothing. I can't get it back to a stable state now. I Hope I didn't brick my phone. any help?

my bad
any solution to call recording in cog 4.3?
I don't think it'll work on cog, that rom is based in 2.2 kb1, call recording is a feature if 2.2.1 the only 2.2 rom it works on that I know of is firefly and it took the dev a while to get that working correctly.
ah thats where u messed up.. learning is fun!
we all do it!
Ok so i have a stock rooted droid 1 on frg83g 2.2.2. I used soup or root to root my phone and I want to flash Peter Alfonso's 2.3.5 or possible 2.3.4 since 2.3.5 is a beta. The problem is that when I go into recovery mode and try to flash the rom it installs then reboots and continues to loop in reboot. so i get the motorola symbol then i get the droid and then the red eye and then it loops back to the droid and gives me the red eye again.
So my question to all of you is what am i doing wrong? I made a titanium backup of my apps. Downloaded the file given by peter alfonso's site. dropped it onto the root folder of my droid. from there i went into rom manager which has clockwork mod recovery on 2.5.01. so i go into recovery and then make a nandroid backup. after that i found the file after going into install .zip from sd card. then the phone goes into the rebooting like i mentioned before.
Do i need to rename the file or clear any of the caches? HELP IS SO MUCH NEEDED!

Did you wipe data/cache/dalvik-cache before flashing?
yeah i did the first time when trying to flash 2.3.5. should i try again with 2.3.5? also note that i did not change the file name to update.zip
Any luck getting the rom working yet?

Yeah I finally got it to flash. I had to wipe phone and reset it. Only problem I am having is the LED light which does not come up when i have a new text message. I am using go sms. I'm also having the problem of my battery running down so quickly. IDK what to do about that?
Any idead to fix these problems?
Just wondering if I'm the only one having these issues. I flashed the multi window hack to make it the Samsung mobile themed tab and in doing so got my phone stuck at boot. Tried re flashes of both ROM and mod but basically had to use Philz clean wipe or whatever it's called? The one where you do it for flashing a new ROM then i re flashed v5.1. Then last night I wanted to try the blue circle battery mod but again boot screen :/
Re flash of ROM sorted this one out, but I'm just curio is if this just me? I also had to re flash again this morning when I noticed the re flash had wiped s-note.
While I'm though I'd mention that I flashed my phone with odin back to stock a while back and then was showing a mate how to flash, accidently clicked cm9 ROM and without confirmation it flashed and worked? I lost root and it really confused me but is that possible? Seems like I should have been told no or have a bricked phone now.
Thanks all

Don't know why, but getting stuck at boot is a common issue in xxlsc/xxlsa..I too had to go through this 3 times atleast.. first 2 times I tried this way: taking a nandroid backup after getting stuck at boot & restore the same backup..today, i just wiped cache & dalvik it worked..not sure if it works with everyone & everytime..just thought of sharing my experience of getting stuck at boot logo..
