Uninstalling the UC kernel

Hi Every one,
I suppose this is my first post in this forum. I would really like to thank all the developers for the wonderful ROM's they have given. I am presently using MIUI ROM and i have installed UC kernal by napstar. After installing the UC kernel my phone is acting really weird. The battery simply wont hold the charge and the camera doesn't work at all. I tried doing the factory reset/wipe date couple of time but still when phone boots it comes up with the UC kernel logo. So can some one please tell me how to uninstall it. Really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
try fatory reset using cwm and flash again u rom miui..i hope this will help u..sory for bad engglish
The kernel can not be uninstalled, it only can be replaced.
2 solution: Replace by other kernel or replace rom.
If replaced by other kernel, you just need to clear dalvik cache
If you flash by the same rom, no need to wipe data also.

[Q]SuperNova RC1-R problem

Hi! I just installed Nova HD RC19-35 with the SuperNova RC1-R kernel and my phone is stuck in bootloop... The LG loggo shows up but then it turns off.
So i tried to install Horse Power 2x eXtreme ICS RC1-R instead and now my phone works fine! Except for som random BSOD...
But my question is, how do i get the SuperNova kernel to boot?

why does everyone say this? if you bothered to read the sequence of events in the log while your flashing any custom rom. they all "do that".
is there actually a point to doing it 2x?
I also had some kind of problems with Supernove RC1, with RC2 no problem at all....

[q] transparent status bar on stock rom xwktn

Im currently on S5570XWKT6 and i was really an active person using transparent status bar when i was using CM7
but
unfortunately i lost my eyes to stable roms.. my question is i tried flashing it with CWM but still didn't work.. afterwards i tried to wipe cache and flash it again but still it didn't work.
I used UOT KITCHEN for editing it since that is where i usually do when i was still using cm7..

Why Not?

I've tested a lot and I liked Miuiv4 and other builds of miui. But wasn't happy with the battery life. Not happy about ICS. Then I found this review:
http://bit.ly/IeL9Hi
[ROM ICS]Tiramisu+ I.C.E. A.G.E. V.1.8 I'M DIFFERENT! [ANDROID 4.0.4][CNA 2.0.0]
This ROM is the best of all that I tested. Very simple to install and modify if your not happy about a kernel or modem or launcher or fonts etcetera.

Thanks i'm gonna try it

You coming from which Rom ?
I wouldn't recommend you to use MIUIv4 roms right now, but that doesn't mean you can't. I tried WEUI 4.0.4, very unstable, bad battery life and it kept rebooting for some reason. I didn't like it that much, except the UI looks fantastic. Now running CM9 and I love it

Are you on cwm 5.5? If not, that's the reason.

ONLY TIRAMISU V. 1.7 I.C.E. A.G.E. and later
As always:
- Of course 100% charged battery and recalibrated (4-5 charging cycles)
- ESSENTIAL Having a backup of EFS folder!
Case 1 We are already on ICS? (Any Rom, Any Version, Any 4.0 +)
1) From Recovery Making Wipe of Data - Cache - Dalvik and only Format of System
2) Install the ROM
3) Restart
Case 2 We are on GB? (Froyo, Eclair, Donuts?)
1) After Flask Stock GB
2) After Flash modded Kernel
3) Flashing a kernel ics (I put the last midnight)
4) Once installed restart the phone, it goes bootloop -> remove the battery and put it back
5) Enter in recovery and then wipe all
6) Flashing the ROM
7) Restart

Not stable...
I had installed several versions of MIUI's and I can tell you that they're not stable. At least from my experience.
My last rom is MIUI V4 ASNET. Quite good. Battery wise is just ok when 3G is off that is. Out of nowhere, it kept fc's on me. Then I rebooted the phone. It entered CWM and I wasn't able to boot the phone after that. It kept going into CWM. The only way was to reflash the rom.
Currently, just flashed stock JVU with cf-root and thinking about the next rom to try.
MIUI V4 is not stablest ICS but in MIUI v4s this one is best:

Andy's MIUI v4
Give it a time. he's ROCK.
