No BT Cm7 7.0.2 stable - Nook Color General

I'm running Cm7 7.0.2 stable on emmc with the oc kernel (not a nightly) and the bluetooth will not power on. Everything else works perfect. Ideas?

While in the BT menu hold the power button until it shuts off. Then power up, it will work.

So go to bt settings and hard shut down. Upon reboot it will work, do I need to do this all the time or just once?
Thanks

Ya BT should work when you do a hard shutdown. Also try resetting permissions in the clockwork manager app.

I also found somewhere - goto wireless settings, turn off wifi reboot/shutdown. Turn back on, then turn on bluetooth, wait for bluetooth symbol, then turn on Wifi. Only need to do once. Wierd but worked for me.

N1 wifi in europe

Currently staying in europe for a month and having some problems with my n1 on wifi. It finds a connection and connects to it but it will not open up any sites or update any apps. My ipod touch works fine but the n1 will not. It is rooted and it does work 100% fine in the US any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Anyone any suggestions?
Soft reset. When you power your phone on, press the trackball before you see any animation or images. That will take you to a white screen with a few options in small text, use the volume rocker to select the one that says reset (I am pretty sure that is washtub it says, but I'll check.) and use the power button to confirm your selection.

Bluetooth not working on phiremod

I am currently using phiremod 5.3 and when I toggle Bluetooth on it tries for a bit and turns back off. I am probably just missing something important here but I wanted to know if anyone had a solution. Thanks!

Reboot and enable Bluetooth immediately. After that you should be able to enable and disable it normally. If you don't enable it immediately after boot, you'll never be able to enable it.

Turn wifi off and power down. Power back up, let it boot, then turn on bluetooth. Then you can turn wifi back on.
When I had this problem with my Nook Color I had to perform a "hard" reboot......Hold the power button down until the device turned off without using the sub menus. Then I rebooted and turned on the bluetooth.
Turn off wifi shut off the device (turn off enterely) turn on again and.turn on bluetooth the u can turn on wifi
I just tried on my sister in law's nook color....

I had to fix permissions using clockwork to get my blue tooth working. After that i've had no problems.

I know there are a few in the market made just for that...
Sorry I don't recall what the names were.
Just spend some time searching in the market.
Widgetsoid 2.x
It's a custom power control widget. Has support for lots of things like the aforementioned shutdown/reboot, brightness control, mobile network toggle, flashlight mode, usb mass storage mode, and has some themeable elements.
I'm pretty sure Widgetsoid has the ability to reboot, power down, reboot to recovery, etc. It doesn't use the menu though.
+1 for Widgetoids. Works great.
You can choose which power off options to include.
Um, if you lost your power on/off button, how are you going to turn the phone back on?

I didn't physically lose the power button. I just lost it while the phone is on. I have to physically pull the battery to turn it off or to go into recovery.

[Q] cant turn off "Stay awake"

Since I installed 7.1 stable my nook always turn screen on when charging, even though the stay away option is unchecked. I already turned it on and off again, but still turns on.
Also I think it is related to SoD because it sometimes happens when I disconnect.
Thanks

That is absolutely normal behavior. You can manually turn screen off after plugging it in by briefly pressing the power button.
It is a workaround for a kernel bug. Just remember to click the power button when you plug it in.
