I saw, through a post on the Titan section, an upgrade page: http://www.htcamerica.net/support/p4000/software-downloads.html providing an official WM6 ROM. I'm rather a noob, but I thought someone might know if this would be useful or not, for our Wizards.

HTC clearly stated there will be NO official WM6 updates for Wizard. That's why there are so many custom WM6 ROMs
I didn't mean to infer the ROM is for the Wizards.
It is built for the Titan. However, maybe this may be of use to anyone wishing to ?port? the ROM for Wizards? I just hope someone can find this build useful.
Why porting that? There are already many ported and customized Wizard ROMs floating around!
To use roms from other phones? if it is which ones?

ROMs from other phones i'm not exactly sure, but i know its possible to port roms through the kitchen and make it fully usable for Herald/wing as Itje has done with porting a Kaiser rom

never use a rom from another phone if you don´t know completly what you are doing.
it is right you can port it.
and itje ported a polaris rom hehe
so i'm guessing that it's really not possible to flash another rom to my wing
You can flash any Herald or Wing ROM into your phone. (Or Atlas if you want to get picky... lol) But that's it. No Hermes ROM, no Polaris ROM, etc. Ignore the thing about porting, that's more info than needed and will confuse you.
After trying all kinds of ROM's i decided to make a ROM of my own by my wishes.
Soon i discovered that that won't be a easy task.
So i need some help.
I would like if someone can help me with getting started or at least direct me to the posts where i can found the answers.
the main question for which I'm trying to found the answer is :''which kitchen is the easiest for a newbie like me so i can start working on my ROM?''
Ofcourse i will share my ROM's on XDA as all of the other cooks as soon as they are made and tested.
I will even make a tutorial on this matter so all other members of the XDA community can make their own ROM's if they like.

Just wondering if anyone is working on any cooked roms based on the newley released TMOUS WM6.5 for the TP2? If there are some already out there please point me in the right direction. I have searched, but don't find any unless I am looking in the wrong spot. Let me know. Thanks
Also would be interested in opening my own kitchen and start cooking. I plan on making a few for the TP2 and the new HD2 from T-mobile. Pointers would be appreciated.

Hi Suavecito1177 and welcome to XDA, many of the ROMS here are based on the latest microsoft builds (The 28*** and the 23***) 6.5.X
You may find a ROM with packages (Apps, data themes ETC....) from a Tmo US ROM, i am unsure, but if you are going to start cooking that is great

Can anyone help me find the recent rom made for jade? i know that this device is no longer for sell and many of developers as stop their work witj jade.
I have come back to jade because my other celphone as not working and i want the recent rom and the most stable for using on this device.
