when i used z4root, phone is hand.
when i used superoneclick 1.9.1,2.1.1, superoneclick is stoping.

I was running an unrooted locked bootloader Nexus One Android 2.2 FRF91
then I tried this one-click root for the Nexus One found here in a post titled
"[APP] [ROOT] 1-click root for N1"

i downloaded and installed the
UniversalAndroot_1.5.3.apk file posted by ctbear
after installing it and rooting the Nexus One (according to the users on that thread the app only roots your phone, it does not unlock bootloader)
I decided to go see if I can watch hulu videos, so i uninstalled the flash player and headed over to this other post titled
"[Fix] Hulu working + Flash.apk June 17th"
i tried the apk from the original poster, and tried the updated apk file found on page 20, neither worked, even after doing the about:debug trick

Install Superoneclick 1.7 on your PC. Connect your phone to your PC. On your phone goto System > Developer > Enable USB debugging.
On Superoneclick 1.7 click root button. Then near the end it will says 'do you want to test' click yes. Then on your phone you will have the rooted app.

I couldn't get z4root to work for me but SuperOneClick worked without any issues
One question from me. If i root, disables a few pre-installed apps and i.e. rename/change icons for other apps, what will happen when LG release a new update?
Can I just update as normal, and root again and do the same changes or do I have do enable all of the apps og unroot again?

Hi all,
My girlfriend just got a Samsung Dart / SGH-T499. It runs Android 2.2 and suffers from a lack of many apps in the Play Store (I think because the Android is so old). But it is for the "Samsung Galaxy Mini" which I think is the same as the Dart, but not 100% and do not want to brick the phone.
Can anyone confirm if this would work, or if not, what else I could do to get her a newer but relatively vanilla Android?

No, the mini and the dart are different. Check out my sig for some good places to get started. You can root your dart using superoneclick root. Just google "root samsung dart superoneclick". Then follow the links in my sig to install cwm and then flash cm7 by DashBlack from madteam forums. If you have any ?'s don't hesitate to ask here or pm me

No. I used SuperOneClick to Root the dart.
Take a look over HERE for a good tutorial.
Maybe, you could try something like THIS method but, the SuperOneClick is the easiest.
If you need drivers for Windows, you can download THIS and install it, then connect the phone and it will install.

Hello everybody, I know what you are thinking "Another noob creating a thread about something already asked 1029103929818371 times" but, well noob, yes I am. But Is just that I can't root my brother's phone since he bought it (Like last december), I have a Xperia mini pro fully customized, I have rooted the xperia like 12 times in different android versions, I have rooted also a Xperia X8 without any problem, but the OB just can't be rooted, I have searched in the forums for it and all the methods don't work for me D: i have tried Gingerbreak, Superone click, UnlockRoot, and more that I can't remember atm... The best method that i have tried I think is Gingerbreak, It only created the Super user app, but I can't give superuser permission to any app (Dont even to the Superuser app), so, could you help me doing the root? Im tired of this phone (ffs brother, update the phone and use a nice rom ¬¬)
