How can i put an original Xperia ROM back on!?

I currently have a diamond rom on here but for some reason sometimes it wont notify me of messages and it is reaally annoying. i just want the original rom on here, so i downloaded a "generic australia" rom in an .exe file that then extracted a .image file onto my desktop. now what do i do! please help

Look in the roms section at the stickys they give detailed instructions on how to flash a rom. They also have the official roms available in that section too.

I would use the official SE rom flashing tool I finds the most resent rom and auto install it

you must download the original rom (newest is R3A), then just do as when you install cooked roms.

probleme in bluetouth

i was buy htc tattoo,but bluetouth dont work;i was installed bluetouth file transfer but dont work to,its sayd i must be in platforme 2.0.but no android 2.0 for tattoo yet..
if some one give help...if i can install other softwar or waht i will do?

It won't work on 1.6. Period. You can either flash the 2.1 ROM being developed here and then install the BFT program. Or wait until HTC releases the 2.1 ROM.

ROM Upgrade for HTC Tattoo (Orange) Release Date: 2010-06-01

Today i've seen this on Htc site: ROM Upgrade for HTC Tattoo (Orange)
Release Date: 2010-06-01 ,and i'm wondering if someone could just download it and put it on some server like rapid share or megaupload so i can see what version is in there .
Hope that has a 2.1 Android ,if so we will have a good rom to customise and the drivers to do a clean rom with Eclair.
Please orange users ,download it and upload to some server.

Ok I have flashed this update. I have goldcard created but Recovery no longer works as I expected.
So can anyone tell me how to get recovery+root back?
The Kernel version is 2.6.29-g6561203.
And yes it's definately 1.6.

Your out of luck... you should flash already rooted version from lgstoian in other thread.

A ready rooted version of the Rom released this morning by HTC???
Is there no way to use the gold card to recover?
Will the 1 click root+recovery work?

i have tested my HTC Tattoo its 100% Working and Unlock My Mobile

Is it me or is this new rom faster? Has anyone else noticed this?

Its pretty cool.

That's pretty neat. I think I'm gonna switch Cthulhu rom to this.

Please add portuguese language to your rom.

But at this point I'd just flash a custom rom to be honest with you. Already come developer/interop unlocked and most have additional themes added. I'm running the shining rom right now. Works/looks great and will have all the same mango updates as the official one plus a few more apps that aren't available in the official one.

Ok. Don't flash that one then. I'd still look into a custom rom though. The official rom would be in the hd7 development section. Not sure which one you would flash though. Might be tmo Europe not sure look in that thread.. Hd7 is called Schubert by HTC so that's how the ruu's are named. Changing sim wouldn't matter you have to match rom to specific hardware.

That one isn't an official rom if it needs hspl.
Hspl is an unlocked bootloader that allows you to flash custom roms.
You already have that installed.
I would just flash a custom rom at this point. New custom roms have all the updates plus more apps that wouldn't be available otherwise.
Here's a link to the rom I use. He says it's worldwide so should work.

the link to all Shipped ROMs for the HTC Schubert is in my signature.

Ill download the last mango ROM for europe and when i want to flash i get error 260 :/ something wit conection but i have a right cable and its connected to my computer...

Custom tones have to be in zune with the Genre set as ringtone.

hm i dont have that ringtone option ... :O

Just create a genre in Zune called Ringtone then give the tones you want to use the same genre. I just googled "make custom ringtone mango" or something similar and found an easy tutorial.

[Q] HD7 after update to 7.8 I've got several problems.

I need a help!!!
After updating to 7.8 I've got follow problems:
- can't set any new account (e-mail, facebook, etc)
- can't create new SMS, or e-mail
- can't open keyboard in settings
- can't open lock-screen settings
- can't open about in settings
anyone can help to fix these issues.

Try hard reset the phone, if that doesn't fix anything, use the goldcard method to downgrade the os and start upgrading again or you can use deepshining or dynamics, those are excellent roms.

did you find a solution for this ? I have the same issue with a friend's phohne

I'm having the same issues as OP, can you redirect me to the page?

I haven't had any problems since upgrading to WP7.8. I'm using the official ROMs (ie. non-cooked) BTW.

Forget the official, just install dynamics and a moment later Zune will give you 2 updates, no problem so far...
