Hey, im on wrong baseband i quess my connection is not good.
is it posseble to go back to an other baseband witch will work good in the netherlands? if so witch is best? and can i install older basebands from older versions?
tnx allready
Make a nandroid backup, flash your Baseband with Smartflash then restore backup. Try 0218 as CM7 was built upon it. You can make different tries, the above method is fast.
oke and the nandroid backup how to i make this is this in clockwork mod? back up
and then flash and then restore?
Yes he means go to backup and restore and do a backup.

Hello,
I have a question for you.
My phone is build for Slovakia country. I want to install a CM7, but later if a will want to go back to stock rom, I have no idea which one from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
is for my phone.
Or, if I use CWM and backup, will I have all the slovakia rom back up? So if I will want to go back to stock, I will just restore using CWM?
Thanks for your answers
Do a nandroid backup and you'll have the slovakia ROM backed up
well, ok thanx. And will I do this nandroid(complete backup) with CWM?
I had euro open by standard, so if you go that way, just download and smartflash the latest euro open... now it is the v10c june 22...
Hi there.. recently i've updated my firmware to v10e.. When i tried a new kernel, it got bootloop and had to divert to latest cwm backup..
Then i realised, the backup cwm is v10d version. When i tried update through LG Updater, the software detects that currently im up-to-date.
So, is there any way to reset the factory default firmware so that i can update? :-?
Current settings:-
- NeoBlaze 120811
- Stock v10d, rooted

I have a similar question...I think.
I want to revert my phone to the original LG rom, I am on FIDO in Canada...
I looked at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041
But wasn't sure which one to pick...
so my question is:
how can I revert my phone to the original state that it came in when I got it from Fido?
I've tried using NVFlash.. but still the "factory default firmware" is the latest.. hurmm..

I think you will have to smartflash an older baseband (pre0725) , then you can use the lg updater.

I also think thats the solution.
By restoring your backup, you mixed two ROM versions. Now you currently use 10d + the baseband from 10e (since CWM backup/restore cant handle basebands) - that's why LG updater doesn't work.
Flash the corresponding BB for 10d, if that doesn't work then returning to 10a and updating from there on might work. (Caution: BB flashing wipes your device, do a nandroid backup before!)

Just a quick question - I flashed v21a, as there was no root for v20c. A few mins ago I flashed v20c, then rooted, then installed CWM, then flashed king 3D rom , then titanium backup. My question is, does restoring all system data/apps like reset everything..? When I look in about phone, it says, Software Version - V21A. How can I check which baseband I have?
If you flashed 20C with kdz method, than you're on 20C baseband I think.
The roms in zip format and backups do not flash baseband.

I'd like to start playing around with ROM's for my SGN but I'd like to know if there is a way to make a backup of my current Gingerbread 2.3.6 Stock ROM.
Maybe with PC Odin? Can I dump my current ROM to a flashable file to be able to go back to stock Gingerbread whenever I want?
I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you.
Its called a nandroid
get yourself CWM recovery and then boot into it, Go to back up and job done, It will create a nandroid.
Now all you have to do is boot back into recovery and restore it when you want !
Thank you azzledazzle. I'm very familiar with CWM and Nandroid backups I was thinking that maybe there was another way. Does the Nandroid backups also backup the kernel? or would I have to downgrade to stock GB kernel first if I want to downgrade from ICS?
I do believe it backs up the kernel too, However i wouldnt recommend restoring a GB nandroid from a ICS ROM, I would suggest to flash GB in ODIN, then restore nandroid.
Flashing with odin only takes 5 mins
It might work, restoring from ICS to GB via nandroid, But i havent seen any confirmation on this, and what with the bricking risks and all that, Its better to be safe than sorry !
Thank you again. That makes sense.
One last question... maybe if you don't know someone else might:
Are all Gingerbread kernels the same, I mean are all 2.3.6 kernels the same for all Galaxy Note Stock ROM's regardless of CSC? Or is there a possibility that my current GB 2.3.6 ROM is not "compatible" with one of the existing GB 2.3.6 kernels (in case there is more than one)?
For instance if I go back to my firmware with CSC TTT and install a kernel for say CSC XME, will that work? and which CSC will my phone end up with, TTT or XME?
Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.
