i think you must going to first again ;
back up your data -> go back to stock with SEUS or flash offline,,root again,install CWM,then flash the custom rom.

diff roms needs to be Installed with diff recovery menu, and always do a fullwipe before and after installing,mayb u installed a rom which need to be installed with a diff recovery?

u're same as me ..i tried every rom but all the roms crashes or is too lag to even use ...i gave up on them and use stock rom =)

Reinstall to 2.1. Full-Wipe then Root,Install REcovery install any Rom u desire and after that full-wipe and done.

Good advice, check your baseband, it must end on "015", as stated in the tutorials.
Install GingerDX only via CWM.
Do a full wipe and then install the rom, it should work.

hi try flashing froyobread v021 as this will give you cwm as gdx will only install with cwm not x-recovery when you have installed froyobread reboot you x8. when you see the sony ericsson logo tap the screen repeatedly this will take you in to cwm now you can install gdx.v019
unlock bootloader

You will lose applications and don't forget to wipe cache/dalvik if you face any problem in you phone after installing GB rom by going it in recovery.

i've been having this problem since i switch to ics.
when i try to revert back to abyss4.2 so i can try to install other ics rom, i get stucked.
what works is i try to restore my GB nandroid backup, then it reboots and hangs, i switch it off, then boot at recovery and walah!
im back to my GB cwm, then i can install abyss4.2 and proceed with ICS rom flash.
that's how i always do it, i hope someone can advise a better way..http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
