Hi all,
I've flashed the latest Nik_IncredibleS and it works nicely. Seems my phone is working faster
But I've some problems about USB mount (NOTE: I couldn't see any camera-related issues described in rom's xda-forum thread.)
I don't have any internet connection at home, so I'm connecting to the Internet over my network provider's 3G via my phone. I'm activating 3G connection on my phone, then connecting the phone to the PC via USB cablle. Now, here's what happening when I plug my USB cable to PC:
1) Phone asks me what to select.
2) I select USB Connection.
3) Network connection symbol appears on my PC's desktop.
4) My phone asks me the same thing.
5) Network connection symbol disappears ony my PC's desktop.
6) Again, I select "USB Connection".
7) Again, network connection symbol appears.
8) Again, my phone asks.
9) Again, network symbol disappears on the PC.
10) Again, I select USB Connection.
.
.
.
I successfully connect my PC to the internet after repeating steps 4-7 at least 3 times!
I've flashed USB Mount fix (described in the thread) but nothing changes.
Here's the details:
ROM: Latest Nik_IncredibleS
Kernel: 2.6.35.14-RCMIX-VIVO-gf17016b-dirty
Radio: 20.4802.30.0822P_3822.10.08.28_M
Network: HSDPA (Turkey-AVEA)
Please help.
Thx in adv.

Can anyone help me. My Wizard won't connect to ActiveSync. However when I connect my USB cable it does charge the battery. I've tried hard resets several times with no result. When I hold the buttons for Bootloader mode, the computer says it does not recognize the usb device. as soon as I let go the buttons it does nothing, no usb connection what so ever.
Help
you probably already tried this but this was my activesync problem:
settings->USB to PC ->uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality"

To make it a little more clear:
Start->Settings->Communications Tab->USB to PC
Then uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality
I have the same problem for the past 2 months
My ActiveSync is also not working. I tried the steps you mentioned above but that did not work either .
Any other suggestions?
Thanx
Sorry, when I go to start, settings, communication, I don't see pc to usb!!
Did you try USBKILLER? http://www.smartphonefrance.info/download/USBKiller.cab
* copy USBKiller.cab to your handset device
* unplug usb cable
* install USB Killer
* run USB Killer
* select "Serial"
* click on "Yes"
* replug the cable and synchronize your device with ActiveSync
no succes it still won't connect
Try a newer version of AS. That may do. or just uninstall and re-install AS.
Hi,
I have a Diamond which I've recently flashed with Gen.Y's R5 NLD rom and radio 1.17
At first everything was fine. However, since a few days when I connect the diamond to my (windows 7 x64) PC I get a message "USB Device not recognized". I've reinstalled Mobile Device center to no avail.
I've also tried unchecking "Enable advanced network functionality", but that neither helped.
Luckily I can synchronize activesync through bluetooth, but it's really slow, also for files.
Internet connection through USB works fine though.
Anybody got an idea what I could do?
here to help
1. make sure you have the latest windows mobile device center
2. plug the device into usb port
3. go to control panel administrative tools - computer management - device manager
4. click on universal serial bus controllers and uninstall any usb root hubs and usb composite device
5. unplug the device
6. restart the computer
7. plug in your device
Hi, I am hoping that someone can help me before I throw my phone out the window. I'm currently trying to enable 3G/4G speeds on my phone for T-Mobile and have gotten to connecting the device to my computer.
For some reason, when I press volume up and plug the phone in (without the battery and sim card), I get "LG Mobile USB Modem" in device manager. When I try navigating to the appropriate drivers and installing them (C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LG Android Driver), my computer tells me that Windows was unable to install the drivers. What gives?

try:
1. Run elevated command prompt. (find CMD, right click and run as administrator)
2. Type: netsh winsock reset
3. press ENTER
4. The following message should be seen: "Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog. You must restart the computer in order to complete the reset."
5. Restart computer.
I have been facing a strange problem since I updated my Nexus 6 to Android Marshmallow. When ever I am plugging the phone to my computer (Running Windows 7) using the usb cable, I am not being able to tranfer any files. Its showing a message which says that "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". Any help on this will be really appreciated
adb driver already installed?

Yes. It shows that all drivers are installed correctly....In fact, the device also shows under device manager. Its just that no tranfer is possible between the phone and the computer
did you bring down notifications and change connection type to MTP?
In Marshmallow your connection to PC is in Charging Mode by default, you should bring down notifications select connection mode and change connection type to MTP(Media Transfer Protocol).
