yea dude i love that phone
I'm at 2350 on the stock Bell 2.3.6 firmware.
Rooted and debloated but no overclock.
single core
This may be a stupid question not sure im pretty well versed in android anyway quadrant standard only shows one core on system info anyone know why? Is this normal?
Mine is 2332 running SteelDroid 4.0 with not a lot of debloat done to it.

Quadrant is pretty garbage imo. I keep seeing videos on youtube of 2 phones starting quadrant at the same time, 1 phone finishing 5-10 seconds ahead of the other but still losing the benchmark #'s with most results (fps in the testing) appearing the same. If it was decent the faster phone would always get the higher benchmark, 2 phones render 1k frames, phone 1 in 10 seconds, phone 2 in 20, fps on phone 1 must be higher... etc etc I'd try maybe smartbench or glbenchmark

I've started using antutu benchmark since it breaks the score down and allows you to run custom tests
Sent from my XT860 using xda premium
If you're looking for other benchmark apps with other numbers I found this thread where a user posted a list of benchmarks on an optimus 3d (basically same hardware as our phone) after installing an optimus 2x performance tweak. Good for the list of benchmarks and numbers for you to compare, thread is here

Hello all,
I'm quite shocked when testing quadrant and I got 1774 score. Usually I only got around 1400-1500.
Then I tried that time, I had around 1400 for the first time, and I repeat the test directly and get 1774 score.
I repeat the method the next day and get also a huge difference between the first try and the second try.
anyone can explain this??
I'm running CM6 RC2
1113MHz monks kernel
pretty nice score, possibly some other proceses running in the background, i got a 1200+ score then killed a bunch of stuff running and then got a 1500 score
I usually hit 1700-ish.

try again directly after you got 1500 score. I got 1700 for the second try
samsung galaxy s
I did the benchmark before applying the voodoo lagfix on my SGS, i was the third on the list just after moto droid x, after the lagfix and reboot, i'm now 1469 and on top of all the device, the original SGS score is way below...
the point is, how this thing work ? is this reliable ? i mean what's the point of the app finally ?
I honestly think that the score doesn't matter. Isn't the most important thing most aim for is speed and stability? If your phone feels fast then you shouldn't care for the score.

1774marks? no it's not strange.
Here is a screenshot i have made about month ago on original-chinese-odexed Miui [email protected] without any hacks, it was fast as lighting (Or diarrhea)

I much prefer set cpu, as it's more customizable and since the battery tweak was slow and a battery killer for me.

That is what showed under about phone in the menu in the battery stats today. That is with wi-fi turned off for abot 1/2 of the time and same for data roaming. I haven't run the battery down to zero as yet after flashing the kernal yet.I'll do that tomorrow after work.

I'm downloading it right now...can anyone recommend good settings?

Nevermind...I found your recommendations on another thread...I set it up and my quadrant score went from 300 to 457! It was 400 on kernel 9 using battery tweak...went down to 300 on #11, also on tweak....I got rid of that and was blown away by a score of 457 and in Neo I am getting over 30fps and high 5's in linpack...my hero is flying!!
I can't thank you enough! !

Well then, time to pull out the big guns
Comparison of Battery Tweak and SetCpu
Tweak Tool (based on battery tweak) Set to be released running on almost any android phone later this year (with tons of new features, I attached a little sneak preview (subject to change blah blah blah))
Also I've never gotten good battery life with setcpu, with tweak tool I'm getting about 2-3 day life. That's good right?

You would technically get the same results if you set the battery tweak up in the same fashion
Perhaps it is because I always used a preset on battery tweak rather than customizing it...
On set CPU what should I have the scaling set to? They default to on demand, however, do I want to set the screen off profile to power save?

Is it normal to get only 905 points from quadrant with darky's9 and speedmod? Before updating from darky's 8 i did get 1245points.

Quadrant is rubbish, people can make themselves get quadrant scores of 3000 + so dont rely on that.. if your phone responds quick and it feels quick in your hand, thats all that matters.

Exactly, I had a 2000+ score with my old JPO+lagfix, now, i'm at ~1000 with my custom ROM, but the phone is so smoother, and it run without lagfix!

Quadrant scores are totally irrelevant. Insanity ROM has over 2000 but I have found Darky's is the smoothest out of them all IMO
if your phone is fast and responsive why care about quadrant?
it's nice and smooth, no problem i were just worried about if i did something wrong.
Quadrant is rubbish, is not relevant, if you make 2 or 3 tests consecutive there will be different results, so... if you're like how is your phone moving that means you obtain the best results.
I still don't understand why people stick to their quadrant scores. Of course it is fun, but if you can do stuff with your phone and no annoyance like lag or whatsoever. Who cares whether quadrant score is 100 or 200?>
I had a chance to try it in corp store, but the result is disappointing.
Only 15xx? Are you kidding me?
With same Tegra 2 CPU, my A7 can achieve 2400-2500.
What is yours?
Is your A7 running stock firmware?
Quadrant is 1995 on stock.
Quadrant 1867 37.769 Linpack
As I thought dualcore means nothing reason I love my Nexus s with its 2825 quadrant score people better wake up as to the marketing that's going on

1913 for my Streak7. Tested right after restarting.
1900- ish with about 250 MB RAM available....
39-ish on Linpack...
For those that may not know...
The quadrant score doesnt really mean anything right now. Reason being; Froyo doesnt support dual core, so until HC gets ported, you will never see the full potential, even though its already there. Anf even when it does get ported, it really depends on which filesystem we get this running on a custom oc kernel. For instance, etc3 has trouble with the read/write db, even though the kernel is super fast. And rfs and jfs dont have that issue as much, but usually arent as fast as say a voodoo kernel.
Dont rely on quadrant or linpack. Right now, but not for long, the DS7 has the fastest processor on an android tablet, but we cant even use it to its full potential. This is why I know we will get HC, its just a matter of when we will get an official release from Dell/T-Mobile.

im scoring 2588 2456 2648 2652 2679 2770 2716 for the full benchmark test im thinking this is pertty good i think the sg 2 scores like 3000
I thought people understood that quadrant is a useless benchmark?
i didnt know that i just though it was a way of comparing phones why would it be useless? and if its useless then are there any proper benchmarks?
I know it means nothing but I like comparing the scores with all roms just for me.With vengence I get over 3000 with doom around the same.I use it just for me to see the difference is scores.

ya thats what i use it for to nice to see with a custom rom this phone scores just as high as the other top end phones and it has 3d
I main performance lead on the gs2 is due to the ext4 file system. If we had ext 4 we may even out pace the sgs2.
