I want to install MiniCM7 2.2.1, I understand that the nAa-13 kernel is required before installing this.
I have tried flashing this kernel but get the error: ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed"
My phone details are:
Xperia X8i (E15i)
Firmware: 2.1 update1
Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Kernel: 2.6.29 [email protected]#1
Build no. 2.1.1.C.0.O
I tried installing the mini CM7 rom without the nAa-13 kernel and this soft bricked my phone. I had to download a stock 2.1 rom and reflash it.
Anyone know where I am going wrong?
Thanks in advance

You have to unlock your bootloader first before you can flash custom kernels.
Guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
If you find it too complicated, there are links to other guides in the OP. Make sure that your phone's manufacture date is 11W28 or below.

yes you can
from MiniCM7 you can directly flash he ICS kernel and ICS ROM without any prob
if you stuck on logo or boot animation just wait
or flash it again..kernel and ROM
and dont forget to backup after flash kernel,, then factory reset, etc after flash the kernel

try to reflash the whole system with Sony Ericsson Update Service. If your phone can be switch on then just flash the kernel with Flash tool, and try again to access the recovery. Good luck
if you still can connect your phone to PC, there's way to safe your phone
Hi everyone, I've faced a big problem for installing ROM based on nAa Kernel,
actually I'm using PrimeHD Stock Kernel Version since my wifi only works for stock kernel...
After I tried MiniCM9 based on nAa Kernel, I can switch on the wifi,
but it becomes very unstable and reconnect for many time....
I can't download Apps from Google Play and even I can't connect my Google account...:crying:
I believe my bootloader is unlocked because of the result received from s1tool
Is there any solution for this problem?
You flashed them in correct order ?

if its still not working the answer is Yes
and the ROM too..
don't restore data from different kernel.
i.e
you had flashed kernel B but you're restoring from kernel A
it make error..
Clear cache,go to partition and click format cache. Full wipe and reflash rom!
I read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340861

should i choose wlan or cm7 kernel version?
Sorry for my bad english.

you can use
alfs-8a or
alfs-9c for cm7.....
the taste is yours
Use Alfs8-GDX. Probably the best Alfs kernel for GDX.

Hi,
And why is it fun?
Just root> unlock bootloader> flashthe kernel kernel (nAa/Oxydo-JB) if you want to Jelly Blur (CM10) rom what it takes to unlock the kernel
In this way, what you gave it a quick and convenient, and look closely and you can unlock the bootloader here on the forum you will find step-by-step instructions
Also good luck and best regards
Use x8toolbox

I dont understand it right. Iam now back on stock because i bricked the phone.
What i did is root stock, after that i unlocked bootloader, then i installed cwm and then i want to install kernel for jellyblur but everytime i do that my phone bricks. How exactly i have to flash the kernel? After flashing kernel i format system and data like in instruction. I rebooted then phone without flashing jellyblur i think this is the problem. I have to fladh kernel then go in cwm formatting system and data and without exiting flashing jellyblur is this right?

1. on your custom kernel, format /system /data /cache
2. flash naa's jb kernel.
3. do step one again
4. flash jb rom for that kernel.
