Does the default browser not have a user agent option?

Seems we have to use a third party browser to view as a desktop?

nope stock one works fine, its right at the very bottom of settings. Just remember, you have to enter "about:debug" into the address bar first.

[Q] CM9 APN editing

Is there any app that allow to edit APN list in CM9. Note that we don't want to edit apn-conf.xml file!

Can't you just go to the APN settings and change it manually from there?

No. It disabled. I can't edit. Only can add new.

What do you mean it is disabled? If you click on one of the APNs you can open it and then Edit the info, and then menu and save.

when touch in any APN name, the "edit access point" must be open, but in this case there is no reaction, no new screen open so cannot edit

You are doing it wrong then. Just click any access point name and the edit screen should come up. Remember to click on the name instead of the button, and also don't long press.

Hi, i'm having the same problem with the same rom, but on a Blade, nothing happens when you touch the APN name, only thing it allows you to do it's creating a new APN and that new one is not editable...sorry for my english

Browser Issue

Quick browser question. Whenever I go to a website and start browsing around, and then I press the back button, it goes back to the home page instead of the previous web page. Any way I can fix this? Is there a setting I'm not seeing or something?

Google AutoFill?

So on my Pixel if download an app that I've had the login info previously saved, I would just open up the app the first time and it was auto fill my log in info. This is not present for the Note 9. Samsung prompted me to use their Samsung Pass service which is the same but all my stuff is already in Google. Any ideas?

you can change it back to google auto fill. go to setting and search for autofill and you can change it to google. i did that too

I'm attempting to change my default home page on Samsung internet to something else, however whenever I launch it, it goes to Google. Any thing I'm missing? Cheers.

Try closing all your recent tabs. I wasn't able to start on my selected homepage until I did that. Now it works as it should.

That's odd, a new tab opens my home page. Maybe clear the cache on the app?

Yeah same here. All my new tabs open up to Google, no matter what I have my home page set to. Now if I hit the home button, it goes to my home page. But just opening a new tab, opens up to Google every time.

Why do I have Telekom page on my default page? I didnt buy my note 9 from telekom.

Maybe it was set by an app or your carrier? Don't know...what's Telekom?

This is because the browser default page and/or the bookmarks can be made persistent by the vendor configuration in the ROM. Unfortunately without rooting and tampering with the XML file, I am not sure how to fix this aside from using an alternate browser.
