Liberty Customizer/ Eclipse Rom Compatibility - Motorola Droid Bionic

OK so I thought that liberty customizer was only compatibility with Liberty Rom. Not true. I'm running Eclipse 2.1.. I have the donate Liberty Customizer... The add-ons work fine BUT theming is a NO GO.. it installs and reboots fine (no bootloops) but nothing.. is that strange?

How do I o that, that is what I hate about flashing roms, I'm a noob and don't know how to keep my apps when I flash new roms and if the market does it now even better. So how would I do that?

You can always use an app like Titanium Backup to save all of your apps, then just download it agan when you flash a new ROm and restore the apps. Just restore the apps though, and then restore the data.

all bionic themes work on any deodexed rom on d3

Just giving the heads up....i tested all the current themes for the bionic on my d3. They all work fine, as long as you are deodexed.

Have you tried the BigDX Bionic theme?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254657
It has peaked my interest but I'm skepticle if there are any compatibility issues, although it was stated deodexing wasn't necessary.

bigDX
I got the bigDX theme to boot finally. So far everything seems to be working. I flashed it over steeldroid without wiping data. Not sure why but wiping data before or after applying this theme makes me bootloop. Well worth all the trouble though!
I am not an expert by any means, but I don't think you're supposed to wipe data when installing ANY theme.
Themes need a rom to go OVER, if you wipe data before...you leave nothing for the theme to be applied to...

i tried flashing the ics one off here over monster but when i booted up i got force closes. My steps were
1. Wipe system data and cache, wipe mount system
2. Apply monster zip
3. Boot to check if all is good
4. Shut down and apply the ics theme
5. Boot up and it brought me to the accounts page with force closes. Am i missing an important step somewhere?

Ics theme?

Is there anything new to flash in regards to ics theme? I dont mean rom wise but a while back i remember there being something to flash but it was full of FC's. Basically im sick of looking at the neon green status bar icons. I want the ics blue color. Im running the current version of liberty on XT862. What can i flash? If theres anything...
Thanks guys

Go to Settings > Liberty Settings > Theme Manager to purchase the Liberty Customizer w/ themes.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.liberty.customizer
Theres other themes floating around on the bionic forum, but its worth it to donate 5 to the cause.
Must be on Liberty 2.0 btw

+1 and the themes are entire system themes, not just status bar. So it's worth your $5.
I used this for a while and liked it quite a bit.

It works with the following roms:
d3blurr3d beta 4
R3Blurred v1.7
steeldroid for d3 <- Wtf? Lol
R3Blurred v2.0
Liberty3
Liberty 3 Test 4.0

EDIT: I am not 100% sure if it will work if you just flash straight from Liberty to this as the Roms listed in the post (above) are Bionic roms. I flashed from Steel Droid v3 on my Droid 3 to this theme and it went off without a hitch; Liberty may be different.
Thanks for your responses guys

I just got Zedge which has an ICS wallpaper (among many others) to hold me over till I can get on Verizon and flash CM9. Lol simple but it's best for me since I have to stay on stock ROM for now.

Are there any themes for stock users?

Was wondering if anyone made any themes for us stock motoblur users
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
Would also like to find some stock themes..
The only way to 'theme' a stock unrooted phone is to install a custom launcher like adw or go launcher and apply themes through the launcher..other than that u cant change anything without root.

Do a search here for "BigDX" he used to do stock themes for the bionic. I haven't been active in the android development world lately so Idk if he still does it. You might only find themes for older versions, but its worth a shot.

Still need root and boostrap/safestrap recovery
He never said it wasn't rooted, just that it was stock. Some of us are running rooted stock and customize things to our liking. I know you can customize your notification bar up top with Rom Toolbox Pro but I believe you have to be deodexed First.

I dloaded but haven't flashed yet. Just wondering what features it has and how it runs. There doesn't seem to be much feedback on this rom yet. This one may be a blind leap for me tonight.

And apparently no need to flash gapps.
Just tried to flash it, running .2233 leak. This version is for 5.9.90x and does need to have gapps flashed as well. Would not boot on my phone (for obvious reasons.)

Make sure your network mode is set to the really long one.
And make sure that your cdma subscription. is set to NV.

Very fast, a lot of customization (weather on the lockscreen, etc). Loving it. My favorite ROM thus far.

If it doesn't boot up first time, try a few more times. Mine didn't boot first time either. The ROM itself is pretty solid. I love that he included the theme chooser, now we have access to tons of awesome themes.

How do we access these themes? They aren't on the the themes section here or droidhive (my only two forums)...
Can you point me in the right direction please?

I flashed the ROM and Gapps. I got no boot animation so after 5 minutes I pulled the battery and restored Eclipse 3.

while being flashed, it said it needed Gapps to be flashed next. The ROM was only ~ 100 MB. Is there a link to the ROM zip file that includes Gapps?
