Hello,
On my sd card, I have all my mp3's in a folder named Music. I go on the application Music, when I scan it found nothing. Then I click Settings -> Filter By Folder.. and it doesn't give me any folder.
I tried reboot and also Settings -> Programs -> Manage Applications -> Music -> Clear data. Still nothing.
Any ideas?

why gallery app now starts to show me 2 times each pics saved on my external SD?
For example if i go in the file manager a folder has 44 photos, but stock gallery app is show the same folder with 88 photos, with each foto doubled...
What can i do?
There's a bug which seem to affect all android devices. It's nothing serious.
Go to settings --> application --> manage applications --> filter to all processes --> Media storage
From there, clear data or force close.
After doing that, restart your phone and let media storage re-scan your files.
Hope this helps
I don't know why,but you can move the pics to the sdcard, then it will be OK

go to settings > application > all
browse to:
gallery
mediacontent or mediastorage (can't remember?)
force close and clear data/cache on both.
then browse to /sdcard and delete the Android folder.
reboot and you should be good.

BUGS
i've found some bugs when removing cyon.apk & LGWorld.apk at system folder, the file is deleted but the apps is still listed on the home screen...can anyone verify this? do you also encounter this problem?
SOLVED....
To delete the apps from the app list,(assume u have done deleting the apps from the System folder),go to settings > applications > manage applications.
At the All tab, find remote call and LGworld apps and press it and press uninstall...then restart the phone...now enjoy the phone without the bloatware.
(Cause:when removing the apps from system folder, the file that remove is the stock apps given by LG..What left is the update version of the apps)

OP, what uninstaller did you use. Some of those apps on the list aren't listed by Root Uninstaller
Thank you very much!
Considering buying this to replace my almost dead Desire, especially since i heard about ICS update. Can i use the Android APK to uninstall the apps? And is it possible to get the stock Android Launcher? I want my phone to be as close to stock Android as i can get it, except for LG features i like. Hello guys!
About a month ago i bought Oneplus 3t 128GB, and the phone is amazing!
The only thing which is a major turnoff is the music.
I have copied all my songs from my LG G3 to my OP3T VIA my PC.
All files are MP3 or MP4 format.
When i try to play a music using "Google play music" is says "No downloaded music"
I've refreshed the library, deleted the cache off the app using settings, copied my songs to:
"Internal storage=>data=>com.google.android.music" and still NADA!
i've entered the folder itself using file manager - from there i can play the files using GPM.
After a while i thought using a different music app so i've downloaded poweramps - the exact same phenomenon.
from the app itself its not showing any music, directly from the folder using file manager the app plays the song.
i went back to the settings=>apps and made sure that both application has storage permissions.
reset the permission just in case, re-opened the apps and gave the permissions when prompted - Issue remains.
so i've downloaded VLC and here is the kicker!
By selecting Audio i get "no media files found"
If i go to the menu of the app=>directories=>data=>com.google.android.music i can see all of my 320 songs and i can play any one of them.
However! if i try to choose that folder as a prefered music folder by:
menu=>preferences=>directories=>SAME PATH=> Directory is empty!!
How is that possible?!?!
of course i tried moving all the songs to a different folder "Internal storage=>Music" and nothing.
I am at a loss, this is really wrecking my brains here
The phone is new!(minus the 2 months that i have him)
Please assist
Model oneplus A3010
OxygenOS version 4.1.3
Android version 7.1.1
Kernel version 3.18.31 -perf+
build number oneplus A3010_28_170411
Try wiping Data from 'Media Storage' in your Apps list. Restart phone and see if it helped.
Couldn't find the "media storage" that you were referring to so I downloaded "media rescan" and accessed it from there.
Deleted the data and rebooted the phone.
Didn't work
What if you just move the files to a folder in the main directory of the internal storage? Google Play Music can see my files just fine, with my MP3's in a couple different folders in the main directory.
Thanks for the reply
Already tried that by putting them in "storage ==>Music"
Unfortunately it didnt work...
Hello there. I have to know if anyone else has the same thing with the redmi 11 or similar devices.
Normally I usually save my downloads made on my cell phone in the micro sd, but they don't appear immediately in my gallery! That is, I can see them with a specific file explorer, but not in gallery (google photos, miui gallery, files of google or any other gallery app) It's very strange, and they only show up in the gallery after I restart the phone. I guess it's because it only refreshes the gallery scan for the files inside the micro sd when i restart the phone. But it does not refresh at the time of download Does anyone else happen? But more importantly, does anyone know of a solution? That is not to restart the mobile or remove and reinsert the micro sd
If you configured Google Chrome (or some other Chromium-based browser) to store the downloads on the SD card, they do not go to the "Download" folder of the SD, but to this address:
Android > media (or data) > SD card > com.android.chrome > files > Download > *your files*
Why are you all using caps for the post titles?

I fully understand that part, the problem is not finding the files in their directories, the problem is that all gallery files such as photos or videos are not displayed in the gallery application until I restart the mobile, what if it does not examine new media files even if they are in their directories . It is strange to explain, yes I can find them with a file explorer, but with a gallery viewer it is impossible until I restart the mobile
