[Q] No Sound From Speaker After Factory Reset - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, I use GT P-1000
I've just hard reset my Gtab because I change the email account. After do the Factory Reset the Tab works properly but I found 1 problem.
There is no sound through speaker, but works fine through headset..
So, what must I do ..?

Factory reset can not cause such a thing in my opinion. Are you sure speaker is not muted?
Try to run the test codes in the phone (type in):
*#0673# (Audio Test Mode)
*#0283# (Audio Loopback Control)
*#0*# (General Test Mode)

Bluetooth problem after soft reset

Is anyone having problems with there bluetooth head set. I have a h700 and when I set it up to work with my phone it is fine, until I do a soft reset and it does not work anymore. Is there a fix so that my phone after reset dont have to keep setting it back up...
You should be a little more precise, what is really getting wrong after the soft reset?
I have sadly no answer, but an issue close to yours:
After I soft reset my phone with BT enabled & my BH-200 attached to it I am unable to use the voice recognition and the redial with the BH-200's button until I turn off & on the BT & my earpiece
before I do a soft reset, it works fine. As in when I recieve a call I talk talk on my bluetooth, but when I do a soft reset i know longer can talk on my bluetooth ear piece. The bluetooth icon is enable so if you look at the phone it looks like the bluetooth is working but I can not hear or talk to anyone. Until I configure it all over.
I fix the problem.............please read this post to solve yours if anybody is having trouble with there bluetooth ear pieces. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1570792&postcount=522
Thanks, I'll give some try
me too
I am having the same problem, I even reloaded the rom and reset still nothing
OMG I just figured it out! I cant believe it works now. I just pushed the BT icon on the comm manger and soft reseted it when it was working and when it restarted it worked! Also, know that my phone was off when i did this, not sure if it matters or not but just for the info.

[Q] SOLVED - No sound while calling

Hi there since yesterday I have a Problem with my HTC Topaz. While calling I can't hear the other side. The phone did NOT crashed, got NO Impact or Shock! I tried to reboot, then I flashed 5 different ROMs and tried 2 Stock ROMs 6.5 and 6.1, I changed 3x the radio (4.49.25.91, 3.43.25.19, 4.49.25.17) without any progres.
Otherwise the phone works correctly.
The phone speaker works correctly - music plays, the phone is ringing...
I can make calls using headset without any problem...
I still think it is not a HW problem (speaker and headset works), but have no other Idea how to fix it.
Any Idea / Suggestion before I send the damn phone to service or buy (most likely) new one?
EDIT 1: Just tried to replace the mainboard (got second - broken - Touch Diamonda 2) Board functionality 100%, but still the same error - no sound while calling.
EDIT 2: Problem solved: It was HW problem! After replacing the speaker, the phone works good again. What I do not understand is, why the phone made sounds, played music and malfunctioned only during calls. Nevertheless, problem solved. I found this disassemlby guide very helpfull: http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pdacenter.ru%2Frazborka%2Fhtc-touch-diamond2%2F&sl=ru&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

Microphone does not work

Hi,
I've been using a SGS GT-I9000 for a year and a half and since and since a few days, during voice calls, the microphone is very low (People don't hear me). sometimes it works fine but sometimes it doesn't.
I tried using the voice record app but it doesn't work very well.
I bought a new bluetooth handsfree set and I don't know whether this is because of it (maybe it changes some microphone settings). It works fine with the bluetooth handsfree set.
I tried to perform a factory reset using the command *2767*3855# but it still doesn't work very fine.
My android is v2.3.5 - I9000XXJVT - Kernel [email protected] #2.
Is there a way to reset the microphone gain setting to its factory value ?
Or is there a way to configure the microphone gain to fix this issue ?
thanks for your help.
Alex.
I don't know any software issues related to microphones.
But no using a Bluetooth headset doesn't effect your microphone.
If you have the stock headset try it and if that solves the problem you should get your microphone checked at a Samsung Service center.

It will work for sure cause it's not the same microphone, it's a different input line.
I remembered I gave a try to intelli ring which change the mic sensitivity, i installed it again to push the sensitivity to its maximum value and the last person I called could hear me. I don't know for sure it this was the real reason why my mic didn't work.
I guess it's possible to change the microphone sensitivity (search on google play for AudioBoost 2).

Note 8 Oreo Bluetooth Paring Problem

Can someone please help?
I had install upgrade my Note 8 to Oreo and was not able to Pair my AKG S30 Bluetooth Speaker. Other Bluetooth devices are able to pair. This AKG Speak was bundle with my Note 8 from Samsung.
- After upgrade I had Factory reset my phone.
-Wipe Cache and partition
-Had try to reset Network and Bluetooth
-Delete all paired Bluetooth and try to pair it with AKG S30 Only.
-Turn off Wifi and Pair
- Have done the April 1 update too.
Not success at all. I am on stock ROM and couldn't find any solution to solve it. Is it a bug from the factory rom?
Can someone please advise. Thank you.

Well I am using deductive reasoning by saying the speaker is bad. If other devices are pairing with the phone without an issue, then the speaker is at fault.

did you do a custom rom and get the april security patch/ i have a note 8 and still no patch. my guess is yours is unlocked. my solution is to turn on NFC and tap back device. thats alternate way to pair bt.
Sorry for late reply. I am on the stock rom with April Security Patch. The Bluetooth is able to pair with my Note 8 when it is in V. 7.1. My NFC is always on.
Hey, any resolution to this? My S30 works perfectly with my Pixel phone, but my Samsung Tab S7 can't find it.
Try removing bt speaker battery or a hard reboot on it if possible.
Check bt settings in Developer options... that may be where the problem originates.
Follow-up if anyone ever searches on AKG S30. The reset for this speaker (undocumented) is hold down the phone and volume up keys together. I have to hard reset every time I pair a new device to the speaker, but once paired I can switch between devices. I was also able to connect it to a Windows PC this way. Super-nice little speaker (great speaker phone) that doubles as an emergency powerbank, but funky behavior.

Microphone not working in call

All of a sudden, my microphone does not work in a call. Regardless of if I originate the call or answer a call, the other party can not hear me. Works fine through speaker phone or Bluetooth. I've searched as much as I can online for a fix, but no results. So far I have done the following:
-Installed a third party phone app
-Tried safe mode
-Tried to repair in the Xperia Companion app on my PC (actually made things worse - couldn't make or receive calls)
-Full restore to factory defaults (fixed the call issues, but not the mic issue)
The tests in the support app fails to hear a frequency change.
Since the microphone works in speak phone, I assume this is still a software issue and not a hardware issue (unless the speakerphone uses a different mic).
I'm stuck and could use some advice.
Thanks
I have the same problem for several months
I have the impression that I had this problem since I put underwater
the only solution I found is to put in loudspeaker or use headphones
